About: I volunteer at Animal Humane as a dog walker at their main campus weekly. I’ve always been an animal lover and I think my coworkers notice because I dog-sit for them whenever they are out of town. I’ve dog-sat 4 dogs at a time and loved it very much. I also grew up with a brother who is a professional dog trainer in LA so I understand the structure that goes with having a pet. I have a very flexible job so I’m really available during the mornings and on weekends. My job is even a work environment where we bring our pets to work. But I’m always around town to check on a pet. I have 2 blue heelers who are super friendly. I have them trained to a T. So they understand their routine and play well with other dogs. Then I whent to the pound walking and helped in the clinic. Then I became a veterinary assistant to help more animals. I am currently working full time 10 hour shifts with 3 days off a week. About: I’ve always had a variety of pets in my house. Growing up my family cared for dogs, turtles, fish, hamsters, frogs, hermit crabs, and chickens. We never owned a cat because my mom is allergic to them but since I moved in with my auntie during university, I have lived with one and have loved it! With my grandma, we currently have 6 dogs! We had two (a chihuahua mixed with poodle and another mixed dog) who are the parents of the other four. “Joshua's in-home sitting for our two dogs was great! He has an obvious talent for working with and training dogs, even stubborn ones. Our dogs were well-kept, and enjoyed playing with his German Shepherd in his large backyard. All went well and our dogs are better behaved for their 5 days with Joshua. We highly recommend him!”
