“Holly was great with Loki! She picked up on his occasional anti-social attitude toward other dogs and let him stay close to her where he is more comfortable. He seemed happy when I picked him up. They were very responsive with communication and easy to make an appointment with!”
“Kimberly was very patient with Rio, who was very intimidated by her beautiful, big Ridgebacks. Kimberly seemed very willing to let them get acquainted slowly, but Rio was shy and needs more experience with other dogs. Kimberly followed all my instructions for feeding and treats. She has a big yard and a large shaded patio for the dogs. They are able to also go into a big enclosed garage- like space to get out of the heat or cold.”

About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.
“Melinda was very interested in getting to know our dog. She asked a lot of questions about his behavior, his personality, his normal day, etc. She was very concerned about making our dog feel like he was as much at home as possible. Peso seemed very happy when we went to pick him up. We would definitively recommend Melinda for dog sitting. She was quick to respond to messages, and she sent us a picture of Peso. We would use Melinda again if we are visiting Albuquerque in the future.”
“I met Elaine and her doggies about a year ago. My dogs finally stayed at her house for four nights last month, and then for one day last week. My dogs had already met her dogs a year ago, and when they met up again, they were like old pals. No growling or hassling. It was perfect! I got daily updates and pictures from Elaine. It was so comforting! And my dogs did great at her house and with her dogs, and it was just the best! I booked a full-day stay last week, and they were literally going INSANE when we were driving into her neighborhood. That tells me a lot about their experience there! They love going to Elaine's house! Our next booking is during the Christmas-New Year's Eve time frame, and my dogs are already so excited, and Elaine has let me know that so is she, and she's gearing her doggies up for a week-long visit :-) My neighbors/friends that used to keep them all the time are moving back to NJ, so this is exactly what I needed at this time in my life. About: I've been petsitting since 2012, including dogs, cats, exotic birds, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. I am experienced with special needs animals, elderlies, and those recovering from surgery. I've completed over 100 volunteer hours walking shelter dogs. I am comfortable working with some behavioral challenges. Completed training: 2026 Fear Free Shelters program “Play Groups, Meet-and-Greets, and Dog Fight Response Training.” 2025 “Advanced Dog Walker Training" “Calming Canines Training" 2024 “Safe Dog Walker Training" I started volunteering at vet clinics in 2006, and I've been volunteering at spay/neuter events since 2016. Some of my photos are from those. Please note that I am not representing any organization. I work from home and I make my own schedule. I wake up before 6 am so I am available early. Helping out with pets is my favorite thing to do! Outside the home or your fenced yard, dogs will be on-leash and distanced from other animals and people. I do not mix animals from different homes.
About: I lost my sixteen-year-old fur baby in October, 2018 and find myself missing that special energy only pets can bring. I have been caring for various pets for my friends and family for about 20 years and have done drop ins and overnight visits. I do have a full-time 8-5:30, Monday-Friday (and many Saturdays) job however, and am not available to provide constant care for pets. I do have more than enough time to devote myself to the love and care of your fur baby. In my home, in my life, dogs and cats are family and deserve the same love, care, and respect that human beings deserve. Perhaps more. While I have more experience with dogs I haven’t met a cat I couldn’t win over. Rest assured that if you place the care of your beloved pets in my hands they will be well loved while you are out of town. Your home will be cared for as well. I do have a “regular” 8 am to 5 pm job. My evenings and nights are free. Weekends are also more flexible for me when it comes to spending quality time with your baby. I am not able to provide constant care. I live in an apartment complex so I am more than happy to visit your fur baby in their own environment. I want to make sure your pets are as comfortable as possible so I’d prefer to maintain the schedule and comfort they’re used to.

About: I’ve grown up with many cats (tabbies, calicos, and black cats) and dogs (pit bulls) throughout my childhood. I’m very familiar with environments that involve pets. I’m also known to be very punctual, have friendly and positive attitude, and pay excellent attention to detail! I’m a 22 year old young adult and I work part time as a caregiver! I live with my fiancé who also works as a caregiver but we have opposite schedules, so there will always be a person in the place to look after your pet. I work Thurs-Sunday from 9am to 5pm. I may be out of the house once a day for a hour or two to run errands. Besides that, we’re be available to keep an eye on your furry friends! :) I live in a 650 sqft apartment within a gated community! The apartment complex has a small outside pet area with other sidewalks and grass to enjoy. I can also provide food and toys if needed!
