About: I have always had dogs in my life, from growing up with family dogs, owning my own, and dog sitting friends and my family's dogs. I have a large backyard, completely fenced, enjoy walking, and spending time outside. I have two teenage children who love dogs! I am a school teacher so able to board on weekends and summer months. A typical day includes at least one walk and access to the backyard freely all day long. I have a fenced in, large yard, and one dog to keep your pup playing and happy while they are here. I have one cat that is indoor/outdoor and tends to keep her distance:)

I currently have a sheepadoodle that loves other dogs and people, so he would love to have a playmate to come and take walks and spend time with us. Kate took care of our two cats while we were out of town for several days. Our one cat has diabetes and was not doing very well near the end of our trip. Julia asked a lot of great questions beforehand and when our spicy cat gave her 2 days of hiding and hissing, she was very sensitive and caring (others would have given up!). About: I do offer boarding at my farm. I only take up to 2 dogs at a time. We do a few walks everyday around the 8 acres. They get plenty of yard time. Every dog gets a specialized program with me and one Free training session. Does your animal need meds? No problem. If I can syringe a horse, I can handle a cat or dog (and have) I also LOVE cats. I have had a many cats in the last 28 years. House cats, barn cats, baby cats, old cats. I currently have 2 cats that were ring worm kittens from Paws. I finished up their treatment and adopted them. I can wrangle a barn cat that’s 1/2 feral to go to the vet or get it’s flea/tick meds. Don’t count me out if you have cats! They like me as much as I like them! I have taken care of pretty much any house pet from rats, to ferrets, parrots and snakes. I have had many tropical fish tanks too. Horses, cats and dogs are not my limits. As long as I’m not previously booked, I will be able to accommodate you. It never hurts to ask. I try to stay pretty close to home so I can fit in as many visits as possible but I do have great transportation. I keep safety in mind at all times. I am always aware when I’m walking a dog and will not let them mingle with other dogs or people. I always make sure water is fresh and plentiful. I am very cautious to avoid and loose animals. Your pets health and care are my career and my number one concerns.

Unfortunately, we had to put our 16 year old Pitbull down last year after a long and happy life (just not long enough). I currently own a rescue dog who I have been doing high level obedience with. We participate in dogs sport like rally obedience, fetch, fastCAT, barn hunt, lure coursing and most recently scent work. About: I have taken care of many jobs over the past couple of years. From my very loved family dog to many of my neighbors jobs. I have slept over at houses with animals, taken dogs on walks during the day, or just gone over to give some love when the owners are gone for long periods of time. I have always been an avid dog lover and now that I am living in an apartment that does not allow animals; I am missing my family dog very much. I would love to just get some puppy love for a bit every once and a while. I am currently working a full time 9-5 job that is in person in Wilmington. For older dogs who can be alone longer I would be happy to walk them before and after work. Any younger dogs that need faster check ins, I would be able to take care of better on the weekends. My dog is another family member to me, he is always treated with the best care and love. There aren't enough kisses and hugs I could give him in this life. I would be happy to treat any other dog the same.

I have been hired to dog and cat sit during the day (for pets of all ages), walking dogs, and drop in visits to feed animals and play with them! I am currently in physical therapy school and have a very flexible schedule. I am available after 4pm Monday through Friday and off on the weekends. My dog Rory is a 100 pound English Labrador and met Kevin at the door. Right away they both clicked. Kevin told me he had 2 dogs and he was very attentive to my boy. We agreed on the dates and time and I completed the process online. On the first day Kevin texted he was on his way. Rory was excited to go for his walk and was happy as evidence by running to me and wagging his tail when he came back. Every morning Kevin came, Rory met him at the door. About: I don’t discriminate against any type of breed. I care for them as they are my own . There is no problem for me in giving medications, if needed. I currently work full time . They would be taken care of in the morning, if needed at lunch time . Once done my normal work day, then I would go back to them for however long was needed . About: I have always had dogs in my life, from growing up with family dogs, owning my own, and dog sitting friends and my family's dogs. I have a large backyard, completely fenced, enjoy walking, and spending time outside. I have two teenage children who love dogs! I am a school teacher so able to board on weekends and summer months.
