He had to clean five litter boxes, change five water bowls and a fountain, feed different diets and even give medication twice daily for one of the cats. I have a very flexible schedule and will be able to accommodate the needs of the pets to walk and feed take care of them from daily to weekly where needed. Although I'm new to Rover, I'm excited to provide a safe, comfortable home for dogs during the workweek. I work from home Monday through Friday, which allows me to give plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and cuddles while following each owner's routine to help their dog feel happy and relaxed. I work from home Monday through Friday, so your dog will have plenty of supervision, companionship, and care throughout the day. I provide regular potty breaks, playtime, and exercise in my fenced yard while following your dog's normal routine as closely as possible. Whether your pup enjoys relaxing, playing, or just being near someone during the day, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a securely fenced yard and one friendly, fully vaccinated resident dog. I will introduce dogs slowly and always prioritize a calm, low-stress environment. If separation of the two dogs is important to you, I can also accommodate that request. I also have three children (ages 16, 10, and 4), who are in school for most of the day. While I'm working from home, visiting dogs stay with me in my home office so they're never without supervision. When my children return home, visiting dogs have the option of remaining with me in my office in a separate area from the rest of the household if they need a quieter space or if separation is the safest choice. I can provide either a crate-free stay or crate your dog if that's part of their normal routine. I'll always follow your care instructions, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise, and any special needs, so your dog feels safe, comfortable, and at home.
“Paula was honestly the best dog sitter we could have ever asked for. She is humble, kind, and was absolutely wonderful with Cappucino. She was very, VERY patient with him, through his stubbornness, active personality, and especially his barking. I couldn’t ask for any one better to care for my dog. Cappucino is stubborn and it isn’t easy to get him to trust you, especially if he barely knows you. But somehow, Paula managed to win him over! I was so happy when I found out they were starting to become friends. She send us updates, messages, and pictures throughout our entire stay, and is surprisingly quite a nice photographer! I recommend Paula to everyone, and would give her a 10/5 if I could. You won’t regret having her care for your pup!”

“Tom's place is awesome!! I work at the nearby military instillation and I was using Tom's daycare services. He was open to a meet and greet the day before I was supposed to drop off my pet which was from 7am-5pm, and he met Ollie and then showed us around a bit which made me feel much better knowing my dog was going to be kept in such clean and organized conditions. You can clearly tell how well Tom takes care of his own dogs. Everyday I used his service I could tell my dog had a great time and got to experience what walking in a pack was like. He came home exhausted each day and Tom sent great pictures and videos which made me feel better. I adopted a staffy mix in 2014 and we had 9 great years together before she passed. I’m not ready to adopt again, so until then, I’d like to help others. I’ve also had a few cats in the past and currently have 2! They are both tolerant of dogs and if they are uncomfortable, they will typically leave the room. My friends will bring their dogs when they visit me and my cats do well. I don’t have a yard per se but there is a lot of open space for frequent walks/potty breaks. My apartment complex is very pet-friendly. I am on the 2nd floor, so there are 2 sets of steps that may make it hard for older dogs. I often do overnights and stay with pets in their own home to maximize their comfort and keep their routines intact. I’m flexible based on your individual needs. One of my interests is in animal behavior. I have read many books (my favorites are from Patricia B. McConnell) My philosophy is we are training everyday. Consistency is important to me and for them, so I will ask many questions during the meet and greet stage to understand their needs and know how to best support you both. About: I have many years of experience working with dogs, cats, and horses. I grew up horseback riding, volunteering at 4-H events, and helping at our local animal shelter, which has given me a broad and hands-on background with all kinds of four-legged friends. Whether it’s caring for farm animals, taking a neighborhood walk or check-in, or administering a shot (as I’m a Type 1 diabetic and comfortable with injections), your animal’s needs will always be my top priority! I currently work full-time Monday through Friday. On weekdays, I’m available in the mornings from 5:00–7:00 AM and in the afternoons/evenings from 4:00–10:00 PM. On weekends, I’m available any time on both Saturday and Sunday! **I may also be available mid-day on Thursdays and Fridays upon request.** I am custom to feeding, crating, walking, or letting animals out of a pen. My two cats currently are what we call, “Spoiled Rotten,” as they are my family members! With the passing of our family’s German Shepard a few years ago, daily walks, feeding, and even the casual car ride were some of his favorites. With this being said for our known house pets- I am also familiar to outdoor pens; water troughs, electric fences, stables, etc.

Gregory has provided dog walks and overnight care for our 60lb hound mix multiple times over the last few months and we couldn't be happier with the care he provides. He is incredibly communicative, provides very detailed updates after every walk (with plenty of pictures included), and has shown the utmost dedication to understanding our dog Izzy and her specific behavioral needs. We have worked with many positive reinforcement trainers in the past to address our pups over-excitability and leash reactivity and Gregory using much of the same language as these dog trainers when discussing strategies he used on his walks with Izzy to help redirect and keep her focused and safe. Our pup is very scent driven on walks which can require a lot of patience and steady redirection, and we are so grateful for how kind and gentle Gregory is when handling Izzy. We've only had one overnight experience with Gregory so far and he took great care of our home and left the house spotless! He also ensured us that he only books one overnight stay at a time to avoid any conflicts in schedule and make sure our dog has company throughout the night and to keep her safe in the event of an emergency. All that being said, you will have no regrets choosing with work with Gregory and we feel very fortunate to have found him!”

About: I have experience with cats with health issues and giving medications. My 18 yr old has CKD and a few other issues he gets supplements for that keep him going. I have volunteered with cats at an animal shelter and helped with dog adoption events as a dog handler. My schedule is very open at the moment so I'm available for whatever is needed. I have 3 cats so I do need to be home several times a day to care for them. My cats are indoor only but I take my 18 year old out on a leash on walks around the yard, but he mostly prefers to be carried.
