About: I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. Up until recently, I have raised 2 dogs for the past 15 years and cats prior to/during part of that time. I am a stay-at-home mom with 2 young adults away at college so I have flexibility to visit homes with dogs or cats throughout the day. My innate ability to connect with animals has inspired me to seek out work where I may spend more time caring for them. I understand the care and concern pet owners have for their pets, especially when they are not able to be home for them. About: Diagnosed with allergies in childhood, I didn’t have pets until in my 20s, when I picked a week-old kitten from a litter & raised him. Thelonious used to walk between my shoulders as I moved around the house, and slept in my bed. Friends told me he behaved more like a dog than a cat—very affectionate. We were very close. His death broke my heart & I still miss him. Seven years ago, I did cat-sitting for a friend whose apartment in NYC I stayed in for a summer while working nearby on Varick Street. “Anish was absolutely amazing with our dog Max. Having being a long term dog owner, he knew all about how to handle our dog Max . I felt at ease from the time Max was dropped off till the time we picked Max up. Anish took the extra effort to make sure Max was taken for walks even in the pouring rain, and give him plenty of exercise and company. Max returned home happy, rested & well exercised. I highly recommend Anish to take care of your pet, its their home away from home.”

“Chandar and his family are like a second home and family to Ruth. They truly love dogs and care for Ruth as if she’s their own (she’s already had 3 stays with them). And Ruth loves them, too!! They are so good to her and spoil her with belly rubs and miles-long sunrise and sunset walks. Chandar sends professional grade photos of Ruth with beautiful, artistic, and often charming backdrops (e.g., a hot air balloon, Princeton campus, dog zodiac statute). Chandar’s family is so welcoming, warm, and kind and it’s always a pleasure to see them when we drop off or pick up Ruth. They have also been incredibly accommodating, welcoming Ruth on short notice or letting her stay late. So happy that we met them!”

Yvette sent lots of pictures & videos, took my dog on a bunch of long walks and played fetch. She has a great set up in her house with plenty of toys and the perfect backyard for play. We were hosting a party and they even drove Dash back to our home late in the evening for our convenience. We wanted him protected while we had a big family party in the yard fearing that you could get out through an open gate. I will absolutely reach out to them next time Dash needs to be boarded.
