About: Cats have a very special place in my heart, and I know that each cat has their own personality and needs. I’ve fostered 8 cats, caring for all personalities, ages, and needs, from kittens under 8 weeks old to senior cats. I’ve worked with cats that need medication, were overweight or underweight, required special diets, were scared and under socialized, or just needed extra patience and time to adjust to new people and a new environments. I’ve had lots of experience with cats who scratch or bite out of fear, so I have no problem taking the time to earn their trust at their own pace. I also have two cats of my own, and they were both very shy and nervous at first. After taking the time to build their confidence, they have become the most cuddly and trusting cats. I’m also the trusted sitter for many of my friends and family, so I’m comfortable looking after cats that have different routines and care needs. About: I've worked with animals of all sizes since I was 12 years old. From volunteering on farms and ranches, to caring for small exotic animals and dogs of my own, I love animals of all sorts and enjoy just spending time with them whenever I can. I've spent the better part of my life involved with animals, I've pet sit for a number of families and have even worked on rehabilitating abandoned horses. I am very comfortable working with dogs that have disabilities as well as I have watched dogs that have diabetes, seizures, paralysis, and age related issues and despite the disabilities we still make the stay an enjoyable one. With me, dogs will get plenty of love, play time, and as many walks as they'd like! I currently hold a full time remote job so my flexibility is great for pet sitting! I can do morning, afternoon and/or evening walks, I can accept pet care in my home or travel. I have many options for accommodation. I reside in a safe private community townhome with plenty of walking paths and a fenced in yard. I do prefer to host at my home as it makes remote work easier due to my inability to transport my monitors but am open to house sitting upon request.
