About: I’ve been taking care of my special-needs pup, Dottie, for 8 years. She’s on a strict diet and takes meds too, so I’m good with following precise instructions. I have a loving and serene home where Dottie and I can welcome your pup. I work from home on Fridays, so I am available for boarding for long weekends. We could coordinate a Thursday evening drop-off if need be. On the weekends, I go to a pilates class and run errands, but am otherwise around as company for the dogs. My yard is only partially fenced, so I will be taking the dogs on leashed walks. Dottie sleeps in bed with me, so it’s okay if your pup needs to as well. If your dog is crate-trained, that is okay too.

“Lauren was wonderful! My Oliver was a very recent rescue and is an extremely anxious dog. When I had to leave him for three nights for a work trip after I’d only had him for a few weeks, I was really worried about how he would do. Happily, all of my worrying was for nothing—he did great! Lauren was very patient with him, and he immediately felt comfortable with her. She understood his need for a calm environment and gave him exactly what he needed. She also sent numerous photos/updates, understanding my concern about having to leave him. I’ll definitely book her again the next time I need to go away.”
“Our baby Oreo ( golden retriever ) stayed overnight with Katie. At first we were a bit nervous but after the meet and greet with Katie and her family we were relieved. We were happy after picking up Oreo today from her house because our baby was happy . He seemed to have enjoyed his stay and must have been tired and played a lot with their dog Mason as he slept the moment we reached home . Katie provided us with regular updates and pictures . Looking forward for our next boarding with them ?”
