About: I Have a whole lot of love and patience to give when you cant be with your fury companion. I have had dogs for 25 years (lost my longtime ones of 14/16 years old years back) and Because my heart still yearned to wanting to provide that love and quality of life every animal deserves, I turned to dog sitting and rescue/foster. I have a clean home with a fenced in yard. I want your pet to feel comfortable in their surroundings and will cater to the life they typically lead when with you(laying w me, play time ,walks, treat time, med administer, etc). When your fur baby leaves, I want them to leave happy and waiting for their next return. For the most part I only take 1 Dog at a time. I will always have my 4.5 year old Terrier mix Female. She is 11 pounds. (Very love able and low key. She was a “foster fail” who We just couldn’t part with. She fairs well w smaller, low key dogs). I will also consider caring for caged small birds/animals as I have done so for clients. It will be an extra $5-$10 per day. I Always send updates and pics while in my care. I would love to talk w you about your fur baby. Please feel free to reach out. Please also understand the communication process for meet and greets and bookings is imperative.to maintain(within 24 hour responses), or I will offer the inquiry of date to the next person that wishes to proceed immediately. About: I am very good with dogs, because I pay attention to their body language. Dogs communicate through their eyes, body and barks. Similar to a person using sign language. Most communication is non-verbal and I definitely pay attention and make sure I treat every furry friend with respect and love. Yard is not fully fenced in yet, but currently working towards fixing it or getting a new fence. My house is dog proof to keep all fur babies safe and happy, but there are always other options available to keep your dog as comfortable as possible. About: I have taken care of animals all my life. I grew up with small pocket pets (rabbits) and birds. As an adult I have dogs, cats, chickens, horses, and alpacas - all of which live with me on my small farm. I have experience with giant breed dogs and higher energy dogs. I work from home full time, and can work around your schedule, my work is flexible. I work until 5:30 and can easily do walks in the evening if you need! I adopted a staffy mix in 2014 and we had 9 great years together before she passed. I’m not ready to adopt again, so until then, I’d like to help others. I’ve also had a few cats in the past and currently have 2! They are both tolerant of dogs and if they are uncomfortable, they will typically leave the room. My friends will bring their dogs when they visit me and my cats do well. I don’t have a yard per se but there is a lot of open space for frequent walks/potty breaks. My apartment complex is very pet-friendly. I am on the 2nd floor, so there are 2 sets of steps that may make it hard for older dogs. I often do overnights and stay with pets in their own home to maximize their comfort and keep their routines intact. I’m flexible based on your individual needs. One of my interests is in animal behavior. I have read many books (my favorites are from Patricia B. McConnell) My philosophy is we are training everyday. Consistency is important to me and for them, so I will ask many questions during the meet and greet stage to understand their needs and know how to best support you both. I am currently freelance with WFH tasks and gig work and schedule my other jobs around my pet care calendar. I live in a pet-friendly apartment complex with lots of open space to walk. About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I was involved with HeavenSent Bulldog Rescue, where I helped care for and foster rescue dogs. Over the years, I’ve fostered multiple dogs and have always had three rescue dogs of my own at home. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, history, and needs. About: I used to work at boarding/doggy daycare facility for two years so I have experience with walking dogs, properly taking care of them, and keeping them safe and clean! About: I'm a dedicated animal care professional with several years of experience as a Kennel Technician and pet sitter where I've built strong skills in animal handling and daily care for pets of all types, ages, temperaments, and needs. My passion for animals started in 4th grade when I began volunteering with the Animal Welfare Association (AWA). About: Note: I currently have limited availability as I navigate being back to work and a first time mom. I have experiences with dogs from small (10 lbs) to large (>100 lbs) sizes. Regardless of their size, I love to give them lots of cuddles, belly rubs and ear scratches. I do not usually travel for the holidays. I am open to assisting with training the pups with walking with leash and with simple commands such as sit, stay, down, and spin. If you need someone to drop in/walk your pup, I am your go-to person. Please note that I would appreciate at least a 1 day notice. Please try to avoid same day or last minute requests! I’m currently working full time from home and I have the flexibility to play with your fur baby as much as they need! During the week, I will have availability in the morning, mid day (if work schedule permits) and evening to stop by your place to let the pups out and walk the pups/check in on the kitties. I always stay with the pup when he/she is outside and can crate him/her in the home if needed. At your home, I would make sure to put them on leash when your pup is going out and follow your guidelines for the pup.
