This was our first time leaving our new dog (who has separation anxiety) with a pet sitter, so we were nervous, but Jen helped make us feel so at ease! She was very communicative, giving us multiple updates and photos every day and responding quickly to messages from us. She really listened to us and our dog’s needs, for instance, giving him more space at first since he can be shy with strangers. Overall, she went above and beyond for him—giving him treats to help him adjust and get used to her, taking him to play fetch at the tennis court, letting him play with a toy stash of hers, cuddling him in her bed, providing a giant fluffy beanbag chair for him to sit in, etc. My dog loved it so much that I think he was a little sad to leave! We will definitely use this sitter again!”

It’s necessary to watch he only gets the food and treats provided and allergy med twice a day. I feel that’s a tall order, but Kirk and Anita were wonderful. Sent update pictures so I knew he was fine and they treated like their own family pet. Can’t thank them enough. And recommend using them 100%. “Nacho is a very selective Chihuahua who immediately adored Nicole. He exhibited none of the signs of anxiety he generally does when he meets someone new (or even someone he has met several times). He accepted Nicole as one of his special people and behaved as well (if not better!) for her than he does at home. Nicole sent us photos of Nacho napping, taking walks and looking completely adorable while he was in her care; we could see how content he was and were able to have peace of mind while we were traveling. I have been struggling finding the perfect place to take my fur babies when I work long hours or am away for a night occasionally. He was flexible with the hours I needed for drop off and pick up. As soon as my dogs got there they were venturing around the enclosed fence area and seemed very happy. My maltipoo has separation anxiety and you wouldn’t have known it when I dropped her off to Kirk. My boxer is a puppy and Kirk was willing to take on having a high energy puppy for a long duration of time. I can’t say enough good things about Kirk for this being only my first time taking my dogs to him and his wife. I will be booking again immediately and have every intention of using Kirk and Anita for any needs I have in the future regarding doggy day care and/or overnight stays.”

About: I have been a pet appreciation magnet as long as I can remember. Even when I am not aiming for the attention, the pets gravitate my way, and i have scritches and belly rubs for them all. I have a rescue of my own for 6+ years now, bichon/poodle mix. Though he had a traumatic start before me, he has adjusted well and is a cuddle bug, and getting better with his socialization with new doggos. I have been a dog sitter for friends over the last 8+ years, when they go on trips. I have experience in minor training, like sit/stay/leash leading, for a few breeds up to 50-70 lbs (no certificates, just repitition and patience). Positive recognition of good behavior and moderate activity (to remedy the bad behavior) when you need me are what I hope to share with your furry family members. I am currently working part-time, so i can set up a schedule of regular pet attention care during part day time hours. Currently I have weekends free if weekend care is requested, though this may change if requests are light. I am working on my house to be able to provide overnight care in the future, making it care friendly for additional furry friends. I have a fenced in, good size yard, and a medium size fur baby of my own to greet stay over friends, though my house needs a little more time for prep before we are ready. I am happy to do drop-ins and day or eve walks at your home, and follow any/all your rules. I respect your needs and want to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy in my care. I keep trainer treats in my car, if we need to practice a few basic commands, as well as water and other care essentials. I have a back seat hammock/cover for the pet's safety when traveling (as needed). I also have a med to large dog kennel I can put in the way back of my SUV if that is preferred for safety and security.

“Jen and her husband were incredible! We could tell they loved on our dog so much like he was their own dog. This was our first time leaving our new dog (who has separation anxiety) with a pet sitter, so we were nervous, but Jen helped make us feel so at ease! She was very communicative, giving us multiple updates and photos every day and responding quickly to messages from us. She really listened to us and our dog’s needs, for instance, giving him more space at first since he can be shy with strangers. Overall, she went above and beyond for him—giving him treats to help him adjust and get used to her, taking him to play fetch at the tennis court, letting him play with a toy stash of hers, cuddling him in her bed, providing a giant fluffy beanbag chair for him to sit in, etc. My dog loved it so much that I think he was a little sad to leave! We will definitely use this sitter again!”

“Our dog Cooper seemed so happy during his overnight boarding. He normally doesn’t eat at first when being boarded but he was enjoying a treat and eating his breakfast within moments of being dropped off. We received thoughtful updates and photos and Cooper was relaxed, comfortable and had settled in so quickly. Fantastic communication and quick responses made our trip stress free; we knew our dog was in good hands!”

“Raelyn and her family treated my dogs Mawz and Rubeus so wonderfully. I think Mawz would have been perfectly happy to never have come home. She has found furever friends with Raelyn! Rubeus was more "cautious," as Raelyn described him. We were kind of surprised because he is usually so ADHD, but we could tell that he'd also been treated extremely well. We so appreciated that Raelyn is obviously a lover of dogs and took good care of our fur babies. They had a great time and we will definitely be calling on Raelyn in the future!”
“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”

About: My name is Taryn and I have lived with animals all my life. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters, birds, horses, fish, chickens, and small snakes. I have two young adult daughters that live at home and share the same passion as I do. I do have a 7yr old mix of my own that enjoys playing with others. If your dog happens to not be dog friendly, no worries; I provide in home dog care, drop in visits and dog walks! My home is clean, quiet, and pet proof. I have a large back yard with plenty of room for your best friend to run and play. We even have trails nearby where we can go on fun adventures! Pets will have free roam of the house so they don’t feel left out, after all they are apart of the family. Your pet(s) will never be alone or feel scared with me as their sitter. I work full time during the week. But I’m available weeknights for drop-ins, walks, and daycare. I’m available Fri-Sunday for the above as well as in home and in my home boarding. I have a large yard and a friendly dog for your pup to play with. If needed, I also have a crate. I don’t like crating my dog so prefer not to crate yours unless instructed by you for specific reasons. Of course they’ll be let out often to use the bathroom and have unlimited access to water. In your home, your pet will be let out when needed/scheduled if they have one, played with, and loved on. No matter where we are, my goal is to make your pet feel safe.
