About: I’ve took care of a cat full time for the past 3 years. When I first adopted him, he had ring worm so I am painfully familiar with administering liquid oral medications and pills. When it comes to pet care, I take an intuitive approach. Cats take a little longer to warm up and have strong boundaries. I respect that about them. I take care to keep them fed, watered, keep them safe & reach out to socialize with them. I love these weird little critters. I strongly recommend watching cats in their home environment. I keep things tidy and don’t mind doing the extra chores like cleaning the litter box and keeping a tidy home….. normally clients are leaving town for a bit, am happy to add on a house cleaning — which I also have experience in.

About: I own It takes a village animal rescue, though I am taking a 2 year break, I have had 451 dogs come through my rescue in the last 10 years. I can help with house training, and basic puppy skills. I have probably had about 100 plus puppies in the last 10 years. I have a facebook account for the rescue and you can see all that My Volunteers and I have done over the years. Dogs must be neutered or spayed. Pet care has been a way of life for me for the last 13 years, I own an animal rescue but am taking a 2 year hiatus, but miss having dogs around all day. I am home 90% of the time, so I am there to let dogs out who might not be potty trained or sometimes we just lay on the couch watching TV and getting rubbed. About: I have been a pet appreciation magnet as long as I can remember. Even when I am not aiming for the attention, the pets gravitate my way, and i have scritches and belly rubs for them all. I have a rescue of my own for 6+ years now, bichon/poodle mix. Though he had a traumatic start before me, he has adjusted well and is a cuddle bug, and getting better with his socialization with new doggos. I have been a dog sitter for friends over the last 8+ years, when they go on trips. I have experience in minor training, like sit/stay/leash leading, for a few breeds up to 50-70 lbs (no certificates, just repitition and patience). Positive recognition of good behavior and moderate activity (to remedy the bad behavior) when you need me are what I hope to share with your furry family members. I am currently working part-time, so i can set up a schedule of regular pet attention care during part day time hours. Currently I have weekends free if weekend care is requested, though this may change if requests are light. I am working on my house to be able to provide overnight care in the future, making it care friendly for additional furry friends. I have a fenced in, good size yard, and a medium size fur baby of my own to greet stay over friends, though my house needs a little more time for prep before we are ready. I am happy to do drop-ins and day or eve walks at your home, and follow any/all your rules. I respect your needs and want to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy in my care. I keep trainer treats in my car, if we need to practice a few basic commands, as well as water and other care essentials. I have a back seat hammock/cover for the pet's safety when traveling (as needed). I also have a med to large dog kennel I can put in the way back of my SUV if that is preferred for safety and security.

“Edgar was awesome!! Day was right at home as soon as he got there. He loved having a friend to play with during his stay. We received great updates with pics. Perk for me is he’s right around the corner. I’ll absolutely be using him again.”
