“Mary Jo was one of the best care takers we have had through out our travels. She gave our boy all the attention he needed. She kept us informed with lots of pictures and text messages on what they were doing and how Archie was adjusting. We used Mary Jo for two days of daycare. On our second day we had trouble with the bus tour we took which caused us many delays on completing our site seeing adventures then when we were finally on our way to pick our boy up our GPS took us to a different town which delayed us again for another hour. Throughout all these delays and my stress level rising Mary Jo kept assuring me that everything was ok and not to worry. About: I have had a cat for most of the first half of my life. For the last 8 years I have sat for a large 55 pound American Staffordshire Terrier Pit mix. For the last year I have been a volunteer at our local animal shelter walking shelter dogs and socializing kittens and cats. About: I’ve taken care of a variety of animals from birds, dogs,cats and bunnies. I have petsitted for many friends and family for an extended amount of time. I have a routined work day leaving me available throughout the evening and free on the weekends to be able to watch your pets :) I am able to match the energy of your dogs needs and energy to ensure that your pup is well taken care of in the way it is most comfortable for them.

Throughout the school year, I work as an elementary school counselor, so I’m typically available after school on weekdays, as well as evenings, weekends, holidays, and school breaks. I’m very easy to communicate with and happy to work around your schedule whenever possible. Whether you need regular care or last-minute help, I’ll do my best to accommodate your pet’s needs. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and any special instructions so they can feel as comfortable as possible while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of affection. I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, administer basic medications if needed, and provide regular photo and message updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to create a safe, calm, and loving environment.

About: I have pet-sat & walked the dogs of my friends & neighbors, from small to large, easier to more challenging. I have experience taking care of cats from kittens to seniors, & with administering medication. I also have personal & pet-sitting experience with smaller animals like ferrets, guinea pigs, & hamsters. I am a college student, so during the week I am available at select times in between or after classes, and on Saturdays I am available all day. I do not board in my home, but in your home, I would be able to walk, feed, play with, & clean up after your pet.
About: My home was set up for an 80lb dog with a fenced in yard and areas around the house. Should be very comfortable for any dog. I’m very attentive to the pets, making sure their needs are met and that they are safe and sound. When I take on a job, my schedule is pretty cleared out for it since I’m a retired person. I can schedule my time around the care of your pet. I care for pets in my home by keeping an eye on them. Taking them out into the fenced yard and walking them twice a day. If they like to play fetch or tug I’ll do that with them too. I keep them fed, watered, exercised and rested.
