“This was our first stay with Christine with our new rescue, Hank. He's a big boy, a great dane, so he's not for everyone - even though he's just a gigantic couch potato. We tried boarding him in the past, but he would become depressed and stopped eating. We made Christine aware, and she worked with us to ensure the best way to deal with this if he should withdraw. However, none of that was necessary. Hank felt at home and loved right away. Sometimes, animals just know! To be honest, I began to worry he wouldn't want to come home! I had discussed this with Patty prior to dropping him off. As soon as she opened the door I was pretty sure that Brody would adjust easily. Patty was friendly and talked to Brody in comforting way. Tucker also greeted us with his gentle non threatening manner. Aside from a few anxious minutes when we first walked in Brody seem right at home. “This was our first stay with Christine with our new rescue, Hank. He's a big boy, a great dane, so he's not for everyone - even though he's just a gigantic couch potato. We tried boarding him in the past, but he would become depressed and stopped eating. We made Christine aware, and she worked with us to ensure the best way to deal with this if he should withdraw. However, none of that was necessary. Hank felt at home and loved right away. Sometimes, animals just know! To be honest, I began to worry he wouldn't want to come home!
