About: I’ve lived with at least one cat my entire life. Having experienced deep bonds with these fascinating creatures, I know how hard it is to leave them. It’s impossible to enjoy a vacation unless I know that when I’m gone, my furry companions are looked after and cared for. I’ve worked in animal shelters, watched pets for family, friends and neighbors, and rescued kitties from the streets. I have cared for older kitties who need extra care, anxious cats who do NOT like strangers, and bottle-fed kittens, so special needs clients are no problem. About: Hello! My name is Sarah and I have been a pet owner for my entire life, and I've always had a love for animals. Since launching my Rover business in 2022, I have boarded all different breeds of dog from dachshund to poodle, and cavalier spaniel to every color of lab. I have also boarded several cats and I've done house visits to cat sit. My dog clients don't have to worry about conflict with another dog because I only take one booking at a time. My cat clients will never have to worry about a dog being in the house at the same time I accept a cat booking. Taking one client at a time also enables me to provide top notch care, attention and lots of love (and playtime too!) I always allow dogs to eat their meals with the family in the kitchen and hang around the main part of the house. I also have a big yard I can let them run in, and a neighborhood for walks. For cat clients I have a setup in the finished basement (I call it the Kitty Club Room) with several litter boxes that I scoop daily and a couple of feeding areas. All of my furry friends are welcome to the main part of the house once they acclimate. Business hours: Pet Drop Off: 8am-2pm (any day) Pet Pick Up: 8am-6pm (any day) Thank you for considering me for your dog and cat sitting needs! I'm a stay at home mom (children are school aged and accustomed to animals), so I'm usually home, aside from running errands. I have plenty of time in my schedule to work in dog walks, playtime, scooping litter boxes feeding/kibble clean ups and attention. Large fenced yard with distance from neighbors - dogs are only allowed out on a leash or a long lead. Large finished basement for the cats plus open access (if they're feeling adventurous) to the rest of the house which is a 2800 square foot custom colonial.

“Rob was really great boarding our golden retriever, Archie. You can tell Rob takes pride in being on Rover and being a good caregiver to pets. He took many pics for us, was responsive and even made sure that Archie was comfortable during a few big storms. Went the extra mile and even got extra bones etc. for him.”
“Sara took on our 100lb Coonhound at the last minutes and without hesitation. She greeted us outside and Hershey took to her right away. Picked him up the next day and Sara said he was welcome back anytime. Leaving your dog with someone you do not know is nerve racking because they don’t know the animals daily routine or little nuisance but we felt he was in good hands and he was. Highly recommend Sara for anyone who needs pet services.”
“Jim provided excellent care for my pup. I really appreciated his availability when my previous boarding arrangements fell through at the last minute. My pup is a finicky eater and Jim kept me up to date on her feeding habits and asked permission to add tempting meat to her food to entice her. She loves to run at full speed, so his fenced property was ideal. Jim also communicated with me as well as provided plenty of photos during her stay and a video of her socializing at playtime. Thank you Jim!”

“Heather is an excellent pet sitter! Our little senior dog, Miki, stayed with her for a week while we were on vacation. Heather responded to all messages very promptly and is a great communicator. She followed all instructions to the letter and kept us updated on how our little boy was doing. At one point, Miki seemed to be feeling under the weather. Heather calmly shared her concerns and we were able to talk through a solution together. When we picked Miki up, he was happy and comfortable in Heather’s home. I would recommend Heather without hesitation!”
“Chandar and his family are like a second home and family to Ruth. They truly love dogs and care for Ruth as if she’s their own (she’s already had 3 stays with them). And Ruth loves them, too!! They are so good to her and spoil her with belly rubs and miles-long sunrise and sunset walks. Chandar sends professional grade photos of Ruth with beautiful, artistic, and often charming backdrops (e.g., a hot air balloon, Princeton campus, dog zodiac statute). Chandar’s family is so welcoming, warm, and kind and it’s always a pleasure to see them when we drop off or pick up Ruth. They have also been incredibly accommodating, welcoming Ruth on short notice or letting her stay late. So happy that we met them!”

She made sure I received lots of updates and photos and I could tell that he was having a blast in all of them.
