“This was my first time leaving my dog, Aldo, for such a long period, so I was honestly a bit nervous at first. The first couple of days were the hardest for me, and I found myself checking in often. Donte was very understanding and kept me updated, which really helped. After the first few days, I started receiving regular videos, pictures, and even video calls, and that made a huge difference. I could see Aldo was not just okay, he was actually having a great time. He’s normally the only dog at home, but during his stay, he had other dogs to interact with and played and enjoyed himself. It honestly felt like he was the one on vacation, not me. Aldo is a 12-year-old senior dog and can be a picky eater, so I was concerned about how he would adjust. Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. About: I’ve spent years caring for dogs of all sizes for friends and neighbors, but I also have volunteer as a Day Adventurer at ACCT. This has given me invaluable experience with diverse temperaments and leash-handling for dogs of all sizes. I grew up with dogs, but don’t currently have one of my own. About: I never grew up with cats. My childhood was filled with dogs, but cats were never really a part of my life. It wasn’t until I got into my early twenties that everything changed. On a whim, I adopted my very first cats—a brother and sister named Leo and Lola. From the moment they came home, I completely fell in love with them. They each had their own personalities, little quirks, and unique ways of showing affection, and before I knew it, they had completely stolen my heart. They showed me just how loving, funny, and comforting cats can be, and I couldn’t imagine my life without them. Leo and Lola opened the door to a whole new world for me. What started with just the two of them quickly turned into a passion for giving more cats loving homes. One adoption led to another, and before long, my little family had grown to nine cats. People always ask me if nine cats is too many, but to me, each one has brought something special into my life. Every cat has their own story, their own personality, and their own place in my heart. My home may be full of fur, toys, and the occasional chaos, but it’s also full of love, comfort, and happiness. Looking back, it’s funny to think that I never grew up with cats at all. Now, I can’t imagine a life without them. About: I grew up with dogs + cats and have experience raising puppies, handling senior dogs, and dogs with minor special needs (mobility issues and vision-impaired). I have worked with animal rescues as a foster for dogs as well! As for cats, I have fostered nearly 50 kittens and adult cats, and have experience with special needs cats! I also have experience with animals such as rabbits, lizards, fish, guinea pigs/hamsters. I currently have no form of employment and can spare most of my time for pet-care. I am willing to do overnights, drop-ins, and playtime or dog walks! I cannot do boarding as I have animals of my own and avoiding a potential problem is the priority. My pets are well-cared for and since they all came from rescues, their specific needs are taken into account. The cats have their own separate litter boxes, the dogs get plenty of playtime and sunshine. As for a client’s home, I will make sure that their pets are loved as if they are my own and I will keep the home clean if any accidents occur. Important information such as diets, recommended outside time, and general schedules for the animals will be taken into account and treated very seriously.

About: Hey! My name is Conan and Im a veterinary medicine student. I love working with animals of all types and sizes and I'd love to meet your friend! I have experience fostering and volunteering at animal shelters, including everything from dogs, cats, bottle-fed babies, elderly kitties, reptiles, ducks, chickens, special-needs dogs/cats, and birds. I have a few years of experience dog walking and I have house sat for people with all different pets & for varying amounts of time. However I am flexible and if your pet has a specific need or doesn't do well being alone certain times of day we can work to accomodate that. Your pet's safety is a non negotiable for me, it is so important to me that your pet feels comfortable with me no matter what we're doing. Establishing a bond with an animal can be the most rewarding experience in the world! When talking about safety with any pet, I take a precautious approach with anything that could become an 'oops!' or a 'hey you, get that out of your mouth!' moment. So I will always take precautions with anything being left out unmonitored like toys, food, anything chewable, stringy, or soft toys, etc. I never want to have to think twice about a preventable accident with your pet, so I always take the time to keep everyone safe. This goes especially for walks, your dog or cat's safety is always going to be at the front of my mind when interacting with any other furry friends nearby, as it is always better to be safe than sorry. Every pet needs a different relationship approach, and different play styles! There are some pets who just want to cuddle, ones who need specific play-styles to be interested, and others who need someone up to the task of frizbee-ing the Tasmanian Devil out of them! I know personally one of my cats only wants to lazily swat at one specific toy he keeps losing, and the other wants to run and leap around for 20 minutes straight. I am dedicated to learning what your pet really likes so they have a great time with me, and you can go to work, over a friends, or on vacation without a worry that they living their best life.

In the meantime I am available any time of the day. Once I begin working again I will be available mornings, nights and weekends. For safety I will be with the dog/cat at all times. If you have a fenced in yard I will still keep watch just in case. While on walks or dog park visits, etc I will be wary of other animals and people who are also around.
About: I've had dogs and cats all my life! I am a current dog owner and have fostered many times in the past! I have experience with almost any breed, any size! I am currently working part time, I have a bunch of time to hang out with your furry friend always! I am also a college student but thanks to computers is it all online! I have a fenced in yard with 2 different spots! I have an area for them to potty in the morning and a separate area for them to play! I also have my own 3 year old border collie who would love a play date any day any time!

Donte was very patient with him and made sure he was comfortable. When I picked him up, Aldo was completely himself, calm, normal, and clearly well taken care of. That meant a lot to me. I also really appreciated the home environment. There were always people around, which helped Aldo feel more at ease since he’s used to that at home. Overall, I’m very grateful for the care and attention Aldo received. You can tell Donte genuinely cares about the dogs he watches.
