I currently have 3 dogs at home, and I have been taking care of them since they were puppies as well as the dogs I have had previously as well. You can clearly tell how well Tom takes care of his own dogs. Everyday I used his service I could tell my dog had a great time and got to experience what walking in a pack was like. About: I have extensive knowledge when it comes to caring for pets of all different types. About: We own two large dogs- an Australian cattle dog/Anatolian shepherd/Hound mix, and a yellow Labrador retriever. They are very high energy and unique with lively personalities. We love to take them on bicycle rides/walks through the woods and neighborhood. We both have experience with dogs- John dog-sat as a child and has had family dogs as well, and I grew up on a farm with 10-15 inside/outside dogs all my life as well as many other animals. We have a big back yard that is fenced in, we also live next to a big state park that is loads of fun for any animal! Our entire family and our friends also have dogs, so when we all get together we usually have about 12-14 dogs all together at once running around playing and having fun! However, my evenings will be completely open and dedicated to after-work walks, dinner routines, and evening companionship! About: I have worked as a pet care associate in Georgia for 13 years before we moved to New Jersey. I loved taking care of not only dogs (all sizes), cats, birds, turtles, lizards and small farm animals (chickens, goats, pot-belly pig). I have compassion for all. I don't have kids that need sent off to school and I can do early mornings with ease. I can walk your dog in your neighborhood or we can spend time in your fenced yard. About: First there were up to five rescues who became my lifetime companions. Then we added two beautiful horses. We walked to and through parks, to the reservoir, up hills across streams, and at the marina. Oftentimes we shared the road with grazing cattle and communed with ducks and geese. We moved with the horses where we gave care and love to the horses and even shared property with llamas for a while. "Peachie" the cat has helped to strengthen my feline muscles through love and understanding his understated gifts as compared to the dogs. I am through, loving, caring, and pay attention to detail. I know how to meet each companion where he or she is; and I possess excellent communication skills. Animals and children love me and I them!

From the start, my plan was to have Leia stay with them for two nights, and I couldn’t have chosen a better place. They have a lovely fenced yard and several dogs of their own, which created the perfect environment for Leia to safely and gradually get used to being around other dogs. Dan works from home, so I knew she was getting plenty of attention and supervision throughout the day. They kept me updated with several photos and messages showing how Leia was doing, which I really appreciated. It was clear that she was settling in well and getting comfortable in their home and with their dogs. When I picked her up, she was happy, relaxed, and seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her little “vacation.” I highly recommend Melissa and Dan for dog sitting. I am the sole caregiver responsible for every aspect of your dog's stay, including feeding, potty breaks, walks, playtime, administering medication (if needed), and providing individualized attention. I only host one family's dog(s) at a time, so your pup will receive my full attention in a comfortable environment. This is a family household where my husband and I live with our four children (ages 8, 5, and 2-year-old twins). The children are always supervised around visiting pets, and I remain the only person responsible for your dog's care. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet behind, and my goal is to give you peace of mind knowing they're being treated with the same love and care we'd want for our own pets. I can't wait to meet you and your pup! I work from home two days each week and structure my schedule to provide regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of individual attention throughout the day. On the other three days, your dog will be let out in the morning and walked if time allows. I get back to the house around 5pm and will resume caring for your dog like they are my own. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only host one family's dog(s) at a time to provide a low-stress environment. Dogs are welcome on the furniture if that's what they're used to at home, and I'll do everything I can to help them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As a family household, young children will be present, but I am the sole caregiver responsible for all pet care and supervision throughout your dog's stay.
