About: My family and I have been dog lovers and owners for over 27 years; caring not only for our own pups, but also for the dogs of friends and family. With that much experience, we know every dog has their own personality, needs, and quirks and we love them all! We currently share our home with a sweet, high energy female boxer, who adores making new friends, so your pup will get both loving care and a playful buddy while you’re away. I’m available for boarding both weekdays and weekends making it easy to fit your dogs needs into my schedule. Dogs in our care enjoy a routine of two-three daily walks, early morning, mid afternoon and evening depending on dogs needs and weather. In addition they receive plenty of backyard playtime throughout the day to keep them happy healthy, and engaged. Feeding schedules can be adjusted to maintain their typical routine. Your dog’s safety is always my priority. The fenced in yard with locked gates provides a secure space for outdoor play, and our friendly 2 1/2 year-old boxer is here to keep your pup company. For added peice of mind, we have indoor cameras to keep an eye on things if we have to step out and cameras around the outside of the entire home, although dogs are never left unattended outside. I can also offer crates if preferred and have designated areas to separate dogs during feeding time to ensure a calm and stress-free environment.

“Fiona is great! Our little Sherlock boy loved her! He is an old man, set in his ways but he was very comfortable with her. She sent pics and updates throughout his stay and even got him new treats. He has a nervous habit of drinking a lot of water when in a new environment. She immediately picked up on it and messaged me and watched him as he settled down into normal drinking levels. Rover and Fiona in particular were a great solution for us while camping at a no-dogs campground.”

We met with Brian and his wife before our trip, which gave us an opportunity to see how our dog would fare while we were away, and we felt very comfortable with dropping him off with them. They did a great job taking some special instructions into consideration, given his age. You can tell right away that they are caring "dog people". Our dog loves the company of other dogs so her and Rachel’s dog got along like sisters. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently have one dog and two cats. In high school, I volunteered at an animal shelter, where I helped care for animals by cleaning, feeding, socializing, and helping with their daily needs. About: I was raised alongside litters of puppies and my life has revolved around animals ever since. My family consistently had 8-10 dogs in our home, ranging from big dogs like labs or American bulldogs to smaller dogs like French bulldogs or terrier mixes. Since I was in elementary school, I was tasked with feeding, grooming, walking and playing with all of our dogs. As an adult, I've helped my parents out in watching their many dogs (my dad has 12!) when they are out of town and pet-sitting for friends and family. I adopted my own two cats, who I've had since they were kittens, and love them with almost my whole heart - I have two ferrets that take up some space in my heart too. Ferrets are notoriously difficult pets to take care of, so if I can handle them and all their energy & mischief, I think I'm prepared to take care of just about any creature. I have been conscientious, responsible and caring for my own pets and I promise I'll treat yours the same way :) I work 9-5 on a hybrid schedule but, as a manager, I have flexibility in terms of remote work — I can always change my schedule around to accommodate yours! I need advanced notice for overnight bookings, as I commute into the city twice a week. I can always switch my-in office days with enough of a head's up, so please reach out if my current calendar availability doesn't align with yours! We may be able to work something out. Unfortunately, I know the feeling of coming home from a trip and realizing that some little things were unattended to by a friend I'd trusted with my pets: the water fountain was half full, the litter box hadn't been scooped in a few days, their 24/7 bird streaming YouTube video wasn't on (lol). Of course my pets were still fed, but it didn't feel like they were cared for the same way I would have. I promise that won't happen if I am entrusted with your pet. I am very good at noticing and handling those little details, even if you forgot to mention them, because that's what I would want. That said, I am great at following pet-care instructions, and I'll surely feed, walk, play with (and love) your furry friend according to the schedule you set out.

I work in healthcare, so my typical weeks have 3 days of 12 hour shifts. I have more of an open availability with 4 days off, so please feel free to reach out and see when we can set something up! I am happy to take your dog for a walk around the neighborhood, let them out in your backyard to get some energy out and go to the bathroom. I can also just keep them company through out the day or night while you are working or out for the night. I’m extremely flexible and more than happy to be an environment that keeps your puppy comfortable and feel safe while also, keeping you comfortable and feeling safe and able to enjoy the time spent away from your furry friend.
About: With 10+ years of experience caring for my own dog as well as cats of all temperaments, I am eager to offer quality, safe, and attentive care to pets in my area. I know how stressful it can be to have to find quality animal care last minute, but I absolutely love animals and hope to be able to take some stress off of both owners and their pets. I’m not trapped in a strict office schedule and have my month planned out by the 15th of the month prior, so I can absolutely plan care with a shorter or longer term notice. Due to my prior experience caring for pets and with veterinary science education, I am a very careful caregiver. For all animals, but especially for cats, I will regularly make sure I am not bringing anything in that could spread communicable diseases or endanger the animal in any way. With all animals but specific with dogs, they will not be left unattended to roam even in fenced areas that they are used to - I know how beloved animals are to our families, and I will always have an eye on your pet while they are in my care! Additionally, I will not bring in any other animals or guests that are not agreed upon with the owner beforehand - I believe that if you hire someone to watch, walk, or care for your pet, you deserve 100% clarity over who they are, what their experience is, and who/what is entering your space.

About: I’ve been around dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve done all the chores that come with them. I’ve had a big dog and a little dog almost my entire life. My big dog is now older, so I have to help him with his arthritis. I’ve had to pick up poop, feed them, walk them, and massage him. I don’t have a job currently, so I’m free for anyone’s convenience! Besides when I have to go to the gym, or when im on vacation. I have a fenced yard and a specific place for them to use the bathroom outside, and also have a pee pee pad inside that I switch out twice a day.

For added peice of mind, we have indoor cameras to keep an eye on things if we have to step out and cameras around the outside of the entire home, although dogs are never left unattended outside. I can also offer crates if preferred and have designated areas to separate dogs during feeding time to ensure a calm and stress-free environment.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a teenager and I am obsessed with mine now. My dogs are so friendly and they love to play with new friends so I would love to host your dog in my home which is a fenced in yard. Plenty of space to run and a very clean environment. Doodles preferred and non shedding dogs due to my son’s allergies please. I am a work from home mom with two boys who are 10 and 12 who also love dogs. because of my schedule, I am able to be home to take care of the pups. I would treat them like my own! They are welcome to Rome in a comfortable large space and run around in the backyard with lots of walks every couple of hours.
