We planned to have her watch our dog from Wednesday to Monday for a long weekend getaway, and then a snowstorm canceled our flight and we ended up being stuck away for 4 extra days. Meghan was so helpful and offered to go buy extra food for our pup since we had only packed him the amount he originally needed, and made us feel so comfortable leaving him there for what turned out to be such a long time. She sent lots of pictures and updates and I could tell my dog was having SUCH a good time. About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind from old to young since I was little. I have watched family dogs, and friends dogs both in the comfort of my own home and gone to spend the night at their houses. I’ve also trained my own dogs throughout the years, including potty training, simple commands, and crate training. I am currently working part-time at my job and stay home with my son. I am mainly home except for the weekends. And on the weekends, my husband will be home to help out. I’ve taken care of a little bit of everything - dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs - so I’m really comfortable adapting to whatever unique routine your animal needs. About: I have had dogs and cats all my life, worked at pet shelters, and know how to handle large, small, and any breed of dog/cat I have most of my free time in the mornings to around 3-4PM. I work: Mondays 11-8PM Tuesdays 4-8 Wednesdays 2-8 Thursdays 3-8 Fridays 3-6 Every other Saturday 9-2 Sundays Off. About: Im 30 years old, the youngest of three boys. I am a former athlete and current student at RVCC studying dietetics. Growing up we had two golden retrievers( both females so my mom wasn’t alone in that regard). With our first dog Shannon me and my brothers all shared the responsibility of taking care of. After Shannon had passed we felt that there was a void in the family that needed to be filled. That’s when kiely our second golden joined the family. Now at this time both my brothers were out of the house. The responsibilities of taking care of kiely fell upon me and I was more than happy to uphold them. “Jim provided excellent care for my pup. I really appreciated his availability when my previous boarding arrangements fell through at the last minute. My pup is a finicky eater and Jim kept me up to date on her feeding habits and asked permission to add tempting meat to her food to entice her. She loves to run at full speed, so his fenced property was ideal. Jim also communicated with me as well as provided plenty of photos during her stay and a video of her socializing at playtime. We always look forward to the photos and videos of Odin playing with his buddy Bear, snuggling with the kids, or enjoying a walk. “If I could leave 6 stars, I would! This was our first time using Meghan and she was amazing. We planned to have her watch our dog from Wednesday to Monday for a long weekend getaway, and then a snowstorm canceled our flight and we ended up being stuck away for 4 extra days. Meghan was so helpful and offered to go buy extra food for our pup since we had only packed him the amount he originally needed, and made us feel so comfortable leaving him there for what turned out to be such a long time. She sent lots of pictures and updates and I could tell my dog was having SUCH a good time. Usually when we pick our dog up from a sitter he is crying and squealing with excitement to see us… this time when we finally picked him up, he literally tried to go back into Meghan’s house and did not want to leave. He’s been depressed ever since we brought him back home… slightly heartbreaking for us LOL but a testament to what a great time he had with Meghan!”
