Gregory has provided dog walks and overnight care for our 60lb hound mix multiple times over the last few months and we couldn't be happier with the care he provides. He is incredibly communicative, provides very detailed updates after every walk (with plenty of pictures included), and has shown the utmost dedication to understanding our dog Izzy and her specific behavioral needs. We have worked with many positive reinforcement trainers in the past to address our pups over-excitability and leash reactivity and Gregory using much of the same language as these dog trainers when discussing strategies he used on his walks with Izzy to help redirect and keep her focused and safe. Our pup is very scent driven on walks which can require a lot of patience and steady redirection, and we are so grateful for how kind and gentle Gregory is when handling Izzy. We've only had one overnight experience with Gregory so far and he took great care of our home and left the house spotless! He also ensured us that he only books one overnight stay at a time to avoid any conflicts in schedule and make sure our dog has company throughout the night and to keep her safe in the event of an emergency. All that being said, you will have no regrets choosing with work with Gregory and we feel very fortunate to have found him!”

I usually help my aunt with watching her dog which includes bathroom breaks, staying over night, and hanging out with him during the day. I've also watched him after he had surgery to make sure he didn't mess with the wound. I'm a part time college student and I work during the weekend. I'm mostly free during the week after 11 on Mondays and Wednesdays and 1 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Some Fridays I'm free before 1. What We Offer: -Dog Walking: We love staying active! Walks can range anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half, depending on the weather and your dog's energy levels. -Bathing & Grooming Support: I can easily accommodate special requests for baths. Having worked through bath-time anxiety with my own dogs, I have plenty of patience and personal experience making it a calm, safe process. - Drop-In Visits: I’m available for drop-ins to assist with feeding, play, or potty breaks—whatever your fur baby needs while you're away. - Boarding: I would love to host your dog in our home! To ensure a safe and happy environment for both your pet and ours, I require a quick initial meet-and-greet at my home first. About: My love for dogs is endless. I've been involved in dog rescue for over 12 years. The fun dogs, the shy dogs, the dogs with no direction and the perfect dogs, dogs of all ages. A very quiet home with playtime if they want it or quiet time that they need. I provide lots of enrichment and a full secure yard where they can run and play, or just sun bathe. I have been dog sitting for years and I've also been a part of a dog rescue where I've seen everything. Each one of our family members deserves love and respect and a little extra when their family is on vacation. It should be a relaxing time for our canine family too! I pride myself on the reaction of my visitors when they come back over and over!!! My schedule allows me to give your family members all the time and attention they could ask for in my home. I never want your furry family to feel like they aren't comfortable and I will engage with them as much or as little as they would like while giving them the space they need if they choose. I have a fully fenced in yard, but no one is out in the yard unattended. I also have the ability to completely separate dogs with separate exits/entrances. All dogs are able to go on couches and dog beds throughout the house and if they need their own space, I have that capability as well. The separated room has it's own tv, couch and is where I spend most of my day working. If your pup(s) is friendly, they are able to keep us company throughout the house. Smoke-free home.

About: Hi! I've been fostering dogs from a local shelter for a little over 2 years. In that time, I've helped about 20 dogs find their forever families. There's been dogs in our home ranging in age from 9 months to 9 years, all with a different story. Abused, neglected, owner surrender, stray, court case holds, seniors, puppies, overweight, super skinny and anything else you can think of! I treated them all with empathy and showered them affection to earn their trust and love. Many of my former fosters come for visits while their owners are on vacation. Any pup that comes through my doors will be cared for and treated with respect, just like my fosters! I work at a school, so I'm currently on summer break. When school is in session, I work Monday to Friday 9-1, and I'm off evenings, weekends and holidays. I also work in the town in which I reside, so my commute is less than 5 minutes, meaning I'm close by! I have a fully fenced in yard, crates and dog beds in various sizes, bowls, blankets and mounds of toys. I'm also comfortable administering medication if needed.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was 5 we’ve always been a dog family. Even now at the age I am we still have dogs we walk them, take them outside every couple hours and feed them twice a day I have a passion for animals. Pet care is already part of my daily routine. I make time every day to feed pets, provide fresh water, take them on walks, play with them, and make sure they get plenty of love and attention. Throughout the week, I keep a consistent schedule and can easily adjust my routine to meet each pet’s specific needs, whether that’s extra walks, medication, or sticking to their normal feeding schedule. I enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I care for every pet as if they were my own. In my home or a client’s home, I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, fresh water, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and any special care instructions. I make sure pets get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while also keeping their environment clean and safe. I provide updates with photos and messages so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for during their time away.

John is observant and attentive to the behaviors and needs of each individual dog in his care and to managing group dynamics to make sure everyone is safe and gets along. John gave us updates throughout Ebony’s stay with details on her behavior so we could gauge how she was managing the transition. Ebony enjoyed playing with Parker and John was very easy to work with. He accommodated an immediate request for a meet and greet and offered a discounted day care visit in advance of our trip so Ebony was familiar with he and Parker when we left her for boarding.
