“Tracy’s been walking walking Bowser for six weeks now and I couldn’t be happier. She always takes him for a full half-hour walk and takes the cutest pictures of him that always make my day. She’s very attentive and will always message me if she sees something is off or thinks he may not be feeling well. I can see the difference in Bowser on the days she walks him, as much of his usual endless crazy energy has been used up and he’ll just chill out on the couch with me and my husband. About: Hi! I’m Alexa, a recent University of Miami graduate and a lifelong animal lover. I’ve grown up surrounded by dogs and birds and have spent the last 10+ years caring for pets for family, friends, and neighbors. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and my family has also been involved with supporting a no-kill animal shelter, which has only strengthened my love for helping animals. I currently have two dogs with completely different personalities, which has taught me how important it is to understand every pet’s individual needs. My 11-year-old dog is calmer, loves relaxing, sunbathing, and getting attention, while my younger rescue dog is energetic, playful, and always ready to run around. Having both has given me experience with senior dogs, rescues, high-energy dogs, and different temperaments. I’m comfortable with walking, feeding, bathing, playtime, and giving medications. About: I’ve always loved animals even though I only had pet fishes growing up. Since then, I’ve been around dogs and cats through family and friends and I have my own 5 year old cat. I’ve been pet sitting for over 4 years now and love every moment of it! I work from home so I am available on both weekdays and weekends to board, feed, and play with your pets. This is my daily routine with my own cat and I will provide the same care to yours. When pet sitting at another home, I prefer a meet and greet to understand care instructions and get comfortable with your pet. When boarding, I have a 3 story house with plenty of space. If your pet is friendly, they will have all 3 floors to roam and play with my cat. If not, they will have their own room with toys, scratching post, litter box, etc.
