About: I’ve owned and cared for cats, dogs, fish, rodents and reptiles for more than 45 years. I would be happy to share the love with your furry (or otherwise) family members too. I currently have a sheepadoodle that loves other dogs and people, so he would love to have a playmate to come and take walks and spend time with us. “If you are looking for an experienced, considerate, and dedicated dog walker/sitter, then you've found your match! Gregory has provided dog walks and overnight care for our 60lb hound mix multiple times over the last few months and we couldn't be happier with the care he provides. He is incredibly communicative, provides very detailed updates after every walk (with plenty of pictures included), and has shown the utmost dedication to understanding our dog Izzy and her specific behavioral needs. We have worked with many positive reinforcement trainers in the past to address our pups over-excitability and leash reactivity and Gregory using much of the same language as these dog trainers when discussing strategies he used on his walks with Izzy to help redirect and keep her focused and safe. Our pup is very scent driven on walks which can require a lot of patience and steady redirection, and we are so grateful for how kind and gentle Gregory is when handling Izzy. We've only had one overnight experience with Gregory so far and he took great care of our home and left the house spotless! He also ensured us that he only books one overnight stay at a time to avoid any conflicts in schedule and make sure our dog has company throughout the night and to keep her safe in the event of an emergency. All that being said, you will have no regrets choosing with work with Gregory and we feel very fortunate to have found him!”

About: I’ve had dogs in my household since I was 5, meaning I’m skilled in taking care of dogs and am ready for anything they might need. I’ve dogs at for multiple neighbors of the years, and many of those dogs have been old dogs with specific instructions to keep them healthy. I’ve done multiple weeks of overnight care for dogs as well as simple daycare or dog walks for people that need help. I’m currently studying to become a vet and I would love to have the chance to get to know your furry companion! I am open to help out any day of the week as needed. I have a part-time job with schedule hours that change each week, but none of those hours include nighttime’s. I am willing to take your pet even last minute if I am capable. In my home, I make sure to let the dog out first thing in the morning and right before bed to allow them to use the bathroom as needed. In my household I take my dog for a walk around 9 every morning and 5 every night, then feeding him at 6pm. Other food given to him includes a treat in the morning and a couple in the afternoon that I put in his bowl. In between those times, I will spend time with my dog either sitting on the couch together watching tv or playing games.

Heather was super pleasant, easy-going, and clearly thoughtful about the dogs she cares for. Sauce seemed happy and comfortable with her, and I would absolutely use Heather again.”

I was super nervous because he can get a little anxious and I didn't know how he would adjust to being away from home. We thought about it over some time and Alyssa and Marcus were able to accomodate our plans last minute. Before the reservation was even finalized, they were so helpful and reassuring. They kept me updated throughout his stay with so many pictures and reassurances. It really put my mind at ease. Sam had such a good time with Zara, Alyssa, and Marcus...I think he was upset he had to leave! I can't imagine sending him anywhere else. I definitely weill be booking with them again.”

“It was our first time leaving Creamy with non-family members over night. And we needed to leave her for 8 days! We were naturally a bit nervous, but our worries were unfounded. Kate and her husband took care of Creamy so well. Every time Kate sent us pictures and messages, we felt Creamy was getting more and more comfortable being there. “Shanisa was so good to Casper during a very strange time for our family! This was a last minute booking in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, as we kept having to plan and replan how long we were going to stay away from our home in North Carolina, and with what family member. We had to extend, then shorten, and it all worked out in the end. Shanisa communicated well through the beginning of Casper's stay while they were figuring each other out, and then sent cute photos and updates throughout his stay. She took him to the dog park to run and socialize, which kept him happy. Casper was well-cared-for and relaxed when we finally came to get him and head home. I will definitely contact Shanisa again whenever we are in Wilmington!”
