Stephanie Anne met and exceeded our expectations - Archie was safe, met and enjoyed new friends, and Stephanie Anne carried out all our instructions. We finally found Archie a vacation home away from home. Highly recommended. Will will re-book for our next vacation in December.”

About: Hello, I am 33 years old and have had dogs and cats my whole life. I used to work at an Emergency OverNight Hospital for small animals (dogs and cats) I specialize in walking reactive aggressive dogs (I have a GSD that does not like other dogs) as well as escape artist dogs. I've had numerous different breeds, from hound dogs to huskies, so I am used to all temperaments. I love animals and have a lot of patience when it comes to animals. I don't mind walking in the rain and I always carry an extra harness, leash, and freeze dried lamb treats! I believe dogs are more then just family and deserve to be treated like it. I believe pets do better when watched inside of their own home, rather then going to a strangers or being boarded, I work from home so I will never leave your pet alone for more then an hour at a time, ensuring less crate time and a better balance for your pet. I work from home so I am always available for any emergency, no chewed up toys or foreign bodies on my watch! I never leave pets for more then an hour ( if i need to run to the grocery store) so whatever they need, I am there for. I prefer to stick the the routine that the owners have already set. I also prefer to do a meet and greet before any over night pet sitting to ensure I am the best fit for your pet and your pets needs. I believe that pets are family and should be treated as such.

“Tom's place is awesome!! I work at the nearby military instillation and I was using Tom's daycare services. He was open to a meet and greet the day before I was supposed to drop off my pet which was from 7am-5pm, and he met Ollie and then showed us around a bit which made me feel much better knowing my dog was going to be kept in such clean and organized conditions. You can clearly tell how well Tom takes care of his own dogs. Everyday I used his service I could tell my dog had a great time and got to experience what walking in a pack was like. He came home exhausted each day and Tom sent great pictures and videos which made me feel better. About: We own two large dogs- an Australian cattle dog/Anatolian shepherd/Hound mix, and a yellow Labrador retriever. They are very high energy and unique with lively personalities. We love to take them on bicycle rides/walks through the woods and neighborhood. We both have experience with dogs- John dog-sat as a child and has had family dogs as well, and I grew up on a farm with 10-15 inside/outside dogs all my life as well as many other animals. We have a big back yard that is fenced in, we also live next to a big state park that is loads of fun for any animal! Our entire family and our friends also have dogs, so when we all get together we usually have about 12-14 dogs all together at once running around playing and having fun! Gregory has provided dog walks and overnight care for our 60lb hound mix multiple times over the last few months and we couldn't be happier with the care he provides. He is incredibly communicative, provides very detailed updates after every walk (with plenty of pictures included), and has shown the utmost dedication to understanding our dog Izzy and her specific behavioral needs. We have worked with many positive reinforcement trainers in the past to address our pups over-excitability and leash reactivity and Gregory using much of the same language as these dog trainers when discussing strategies he used on his walks with Izzy to help redirect and keep her focused and safe. Our pup is very scent driven on walks which can require a lot of patience and steady redirection, and we are so grateful for how kind and gentle Gregory is when handling Izzy. We've only had one overnight experience with Gregory so far and he took great care of our home and left the house spotless! He also ensured us that he only books one overnight stay at a time to avoid any conflicts in schedule and make sure our dog has company throughout the night and to keep her safe in the event of an emergency. I believe establishing a consistent daily routine is crucial for both dogs. This includes regular feeding times, exercise, and bathroom breaks. For my husky, who is energetic and playful, I ensure she gets at least an hour of vigorous exercise each day. This includes walks, runs, or playtime in the yard. My cockapoo also enjoys playtime but requires slightly less intense activity due to his smaller size and older age. I ensure that my home environment is safe for both dogs by removing hazardous items such as toxic plants or small objects they could swallow inside and outside. Additionally, I use baby gates if necessary to restrict access to certain areas of the house where they might get into trouble. I have learned by following these steps consistently in caring for my husky and cockapoo at home, and applying similar principles when caring for clients' pets, I’ll create a nurturing environment that supports their health and happiness.
