About: I have been a dog owner since I was young and a dog mom for more than ten years! Play time, walks, going to the park, and snuggles, are a day to day necessity. Along with treats, dietary needs/supplements, and any special care your best friend might need. I am here to make your baby comfortable and happy in my care while you’re away. An attempt to distract them from missing you so much ☺️ I’m available on weekends and during weekday mornings until 11:00 AM, making me a great option for morning walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or weekend boarding. I make it a priority to give each pet my full attention, follow their usual routine, and ensure they receive plenty of exercise, playtime, and affection while in my care. Water, treats, exercise and comfort are always provided. The most important thing is that your baby is happy and attended to. She sent me pictures so I could see how great they were doing and I didn't worry about them for a second. ( I am usually a big worrier- so this was huge!) It's great to feel so at ease when you go away. Plus her house is so extremely clean and tidy (such a plus) and the kitchen area where the dogs hang out is like a bright and sunny doggie paradise with dog beds of all sizes and shapes and lots of toys too. I think they had more fun at her house then they do at mine. I plan on using her many many times in the future. ”

“If I could leave 6 stars, I would! This was our first time using Meghan and she was amazing. We planned to have her watch our dog from Wednesday to Monday for a long weekend getaway, and then a snowstorm canceled our flight and we ended up being stuck away for 4 extra days. Meghan was so helpful and offered to go buy extra food for our pup since we had only packed him the amount he originally needed, and made us feel so comfortable leaving him there for what turned out to be such a long time. She sent lots of pictures and updates and I could tell my dog was having SUCH a good time. Usually when we pick our dog up from a sitter he is crying and squealing with excitement to see us… this time when we finally picked him up, he literally tried to go back into Meghan’s house and did not want to leave. About: Im 30 years old, the youngest of three boys. I am a former athlete and current student at RVCC studying dietetics. Growing up we had two golden retrievers( both females so my mom wasn’t alone in that regard). With our first dog Shannon me and my brothers all shared the responsibility of taking care of. About: I have over 25 years of experience watch dogs. The last two years I have been working with the See Eye Foundation as a Puppy Sitter. I sit for puppies 8 weeks to 13 years old, for a single day to over a week. I also have a 12 year-old English Fox Hound that likes to take me on walks/runs daily I am currently retired and this leave me plenty of time to take care of your dog. I am an avid runner and cyclist, so walking or even running with your dog is not a problem I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a 3-acre property where dogs can roam and run. I do have a 120 foot leash that lets the dogs run without fear of them running away. If your dog likes to play fetch or just do a lot of exploring, the yard is ideal for them. I am also available to do multiple daily check ins and walks if the dog prefers to stay at home.

So, I am comfortable with ‘multiple personality’ pooches! I have a chill Chihuahua (hard to believe I know) and a cat. They are very respectful of each other and both easily tolerate other dogs. I work from home Monday through Friday and I’m home most weekends so I am available for spontaneous ‘urgent’ potty breaks, as needed, as well as leisurely strolls throughout the day. About: Hi there, I am new to Rover but all my life I have loved and cared for animals. I got my first kitten when I was five and in my adult life expanded that love and care to dogs. I currently do not have one of my own but I am a volunteer dog walker at an animal shelter. Throughout my adult life I have had wonderful neighbors with whom we have traded dog walking and overnight care with while traveling. Now that I am newly retired I am looking to expand my time and attention to pet parents living in Annandale and Clinton. I am available to drop in, walk and play with your best friend in your neighborhood, and I can stay overnight while you are out of town to keep your dog safe and secure in their known environment. I am also happy to assist with simple chores in your home such as taking care of plants, retrieving mail and any other small but important tasks. I am also willing to board dogs and cats in my home if that is more convenient for pet parents. I am newly retired so have a fairly flexible schedule. I do stay engaged with other activities and travel, so scheduling in advance is very important to me so that when I do schedule care for a pet I want to be sure I have the time to give them the full love and attention they deserve. I am very active for my age in that I run, swim, bike and play pickleball for exercise. Rest assured I am fit enough to handle any dog on a leash. The shelter I volunteer at I deal with a variety of dog personalities and energy levels and adjust accordingly. If you are looking for a pet sitter in your home I can remain in your home for the duration, or if you are just looking for someone to stay overnight with your pet that works too. I am here to accommodate pet parents with whatever accommodations they and their pet are comfortable with. I live on a cul-de-sac with only three other homes on our street. We have a natural, wild area partially in the back and to the side of our home so there is plenty of open space. I have walked many miles throughout my friendly neighborhood streets walking my previous dogs and my neighbor's dog. While in a client's home I am willing to adhere to any schedule the pet parents desire. I am very conscientious of physical security of my property and that of others.

About: Im 30 years old, the youngest of three boys. I am a former athlete and current student at RVCC studying dietetics. Growing up we had two golden retrievers( both females so my mom wasn’t alone in that regard). With our first dog Shannon me and my brothers all shared the responsibility of taking care of. After Shannon had passed we felt that there was a void in the family that needed to be filled. That’s when kiely our second golden joined the family. Now at this time both my brothers were out of the house. The responsibilities of taking care of kiely fell upon me and I was more than happy to uphold them. “If I could leave 6 stars, I would! This was our first time using Meghan and she was amazing. We planned to have her watch our dog from Wednesday to Monday for a long weekend getaway, and then a snowstorm canceled our flight and we ended up being stuck away for 4 extra days. Meghan was so helpful and offered to go buy extra food for our pup since we had only packed him the amount he originally needed, and made us feel so comfortable leaving him there for what turned out to be such a long time. She sent lots of pictures and updates and I could tell my dog was having SUCH a good time. Usually when we pick our dog up from a sitter he is crying and squealing with excitement to see us… this time when we finally picked him up, he literally tried to go back into Meghan’s house and did not want to leave. He’s been depressed ever since we brought him back home… slightly heartbreaking for us LOL but a testament to what a great time he had with Meghan!”

My pup is a finicky eater and Jim kept me up to date on her feeding habits and asked permission to add tempting meat to her food to entice her. She loves to run at full speed, so his fenced property was ideal. Jim also communicated with me as well as provided plenty of photos during her stay and a video of her socializing at playtime.
