About: I have been in the animal care business my whole life! My mom used to run her own animal care business where I would go on all of her animal visits since I was in kindergarten. I trained my two puppies at age 10, have been volunteering at the local animal shelter for 3 years, and have started my own small clientele of dogs whom I care for through overnight stays for over a week, 3 check-ins a day for each dog, and lots of time for playing and cuddling to make sure they are happy and comfortable, while building their trust. I understand patience is key when caring for animals who see me as a new, unfamiliar face, and I always ensure the animals comfort is my top priority! My main gig at the moment is animal care, so I can build my own schedule/routine around the animal care bookings that I have for that week, so your pet will be my priority! In my clients homes, I make sure that the essentials like food and water are given, and I will make sure that there is nothing out that could harm them. My main focus is walking the dog in the start of my visit, and playing and winding down for rest time at the end, so they are able to rest and relax when I am not there/until their next visit. For cats, I would feed and refill their water, play with them, and provide affection depending on their personality and how comfortable they are. I will also clean out their litter.

I do not have a fully fenced in yard, but am happy to take your dog to the dog park if that would be helpful to release energy! The beach is also a short walk away :)

She was attentive to my animals needs and it was obvious my pup had a great time with her. She sent tons of pictures and videos and gave comprehensive daily updates. About: I have had several dogs in my life through their entire life span. I recently lost my soul dog. Not ready to get another but because they bring me so much joy, I would love to take care of others. I have the time because I am retired. I also know the feeling of worrying that they are in the best care! I can assure you that they will be! I am retired for the most part. I teach yoga a few hours a week but I have plenty of time. I can take your dog for several walks, AM or PM. I do not have a fenced in yard but do have a very long leash to allow freedom in the yard. I also live in a great neighborhood with lots of dogs. My dog recently passed but we used to take lots of daily walks and had lots of interactions.
About: I absolutely love animals- both my own and other families pets! I moved to Lewes a few years ago from New Jersey and love being active outside and by the beach. My family and I adopted a dog a few years ago and she has brought so much joy to our family. I am very flexible with my daily schedule and around on most weekends and holidays. I am available mornings, afternoons and evenings as well as overnights. I am good with medications and open to any specific needs your pet might have. My cat and dog both have kidney disease, so I have great experience with both oral and injectable medications.
