About: We lost our 13 yr old american bulldog / hound mix and while mom (Lisa) isn't ready to have a new FT family member just yet, my son and I would be so excited to have fun with and love your pet as our own while you are away. We have a fenced-in back yard, lots of toys and a comfy dog bed - though of course you are welcome to bring your own gear, if it makes your pet feel more comfortable and at home. Typically only board 1 family at a time. Because our schedules can vary, we’re only able to accept boarding requests 2-3 months in advance. We appreciate your understanding! I am self-employed and work from home so am available to give your pet all the attention it deserves, take for walks and potty breaks as needed. About: I've been caring for small pets such as, Hamsters, Guinea-pigs and Fish (from goldfish, etc. to Oscars,etc.) from a very young age. Therein, for example, when I was still a little girl, my friend and neighbor could no longer care for their beloved, hamster, Andy; who did they think of... me ! So, Andy, the hamster was adopted and added to the fold. Next, Cats and Dogs. When my neighbor found a stray cat had given birth in their shed closet, again, who did they call?! I adopted one of the 3 kittens; adopting their sibling from the same liter soon after the first adoptee, was unable to care for it. I began caring for Angel and Geisha, my first two cats. Last but not least, Dogs... Cream was a white Pittie, whose owner, again, became unable to care for her so she lived with me and my 2 year old daughter at the time, and they loved each other dearly. After, finding Cream a permanent home, I had the honor of caring for other dogs for friends and neighbors even the homeless, from which I cared for Lulu, a pittie, living with her owner on the street. However, she received a healthy diet, vet care and patience, training to reverse some of the habits she developed living on the street. Now, although, I've cared for others such as Bamboo, the Pitbull, that seemed to take care of himself, lol and Karma, who needed a foster during the Covid pandemic; I'm entrusted with the care of my Pittie/German-Sheppard Gran-pet baby, Nasir aka Nas, while my daughter's in college. Nice enough, I still get to switch it up and care for the Cats (and small pets) of various friends and neighbors in my community. I’ve lived with a dog in my home for over 25 years and have experience caring for them at all life stages- from the puppy to senior years. I live with my wife, son, and our 4 year old golden retriever, Beau. Beau is a true golden retriever, super easy-going and loves all dogs he meets. We have a comfortable, dog friendly home where the dogs are welcome to relax on the couches, beds, wherever they are comfy. We also have a large fenced in yard in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood that suits our twice daily walks. We treat our dog like a member of the family and love to bring him with us wherever we can- breweries, farmers market, vacations, you name it. We will treat your dog as one of our own as well. Last year, I kickstarted a weekend morning dog walk at a local park with friends, that my dog looks forward to weekly. My family and I have also regularly dogsat for friends of ours as favors. My wife and I both work a hybrid schedule and are home Fridays-Mondays to support boarding your dog over long weekends. We always prioritize our dog’s needs and the needs of any dog we are watching by being home often, providing lots of attention, play, and long morning and evening walks. We have a large, securely fenced in yard and have our 4 year old golden retriever, who is extremely friendly, laid-back, and great with other dogs. We have not crated him since the puppy years, but can crate your dog if requested. Our home (and furniture) is dog friendly.

About: My family once had a Sheltie when I was a kid. Since then, I have taken care of many of my friend’s dogs and cats while they are out of town. I am very willing to walk, feed, bathe, play, and watch TV with your pets! Please let me know if there’s special needs for your pets and I will try my best to accommodate. I’m working from home everyday which means I can walk your dog anytime during the day and provide potty breaks in between 3 hours. I also live in a very active lifestyle. I live in a spacious one bedroom apartment with sunny windows. Inside my building, there’s a big lawn dog park with two unleash areas. There are also two public dog parks outside my building. The new-built Metropolitan Park is also just downstairs, two steps away. It is a very good and convenient place to walk your dog too.

Lucas and Katherine are a great couple who genuinely seem to love dogs and they sent me daily updates and photos. About: Hi, I’m AnnMarie! I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, but really started understanding the love and care they need when I got my first cat and first dog at 7 years old. I grew up with Labrador retrievers, a blue front Amazon parrot, cats, frogs, fish, hermit crabs, and some others I’m definitely forgetting as I write this. I currently have a dog named Maple, a spunky, confident, and affectionate 1.5 year old corgi who would love a few more friends like your dog or cat! She grew up in a home with a ton of other dogs and cats and is always up for playdates and sleepovers. I’m capable of providing whatever your animal needs - a long (or short) walk, playtime, snuggles on the couch, meals, and commands/trick reinforcement. I also have experience administering medications to dogs and cats, including eye drops, and can manage other normally challenging health conditions or issues. I currently work full time but have availability in the evenings (usually after 6pm) on weekdays for drop in visits or walks, and most weekends are completely free for boarding, day care, drop ins, or walks! I frequently update my calendar to give clients the best idea of my availability. If you don’t see something/the dates you’re looking for, please reach out and we can discuss. I have an extremely friendly dog to keep yours company, but if the preference would be separation between yours and mine, that works perfectly fine too! I have a spacious home with multiple bedrooms and a large backyard, though it isn’t completely fenced just yet! I’m also a short drive from a huge park, where I frequently walk my dog, otherwise I keep walks local.
“I truly can not recommend Jaclynn enough. I recently rescued my dog (who is a puppy and has high energy). It was my first time leaving my pup, Frankie, for an extended period of time (and using Rover). After searching high and low through Rover, I thankfully came across Jaclynn. She was AMAZING my entire trip and relieved every bit of anxiety I had. I received so many pictures and updates on how Frankie was doing. Jaclynn even trained Frankie while we were gone and inspired me to get buttons for her to communicate. Frankie was sad to leave (honestly lol). Frankie will be seeing Jaclynn and Andre until the end of time. I was also sent home with fresh eggs from her farm, a toy that Frankie loved, and a printed picture. I will happily drive an hour knowing the love and care she provided for my fur baby. The absolute best!!!”
