I've been around dogs my entire life and have years of experience caring for my own. I grew up with two Havanese, a Bulldog, and two Shichons! I want every dog to feel like they’re in a safe, calm, and loving environment while they’re in my care. I live in a house in a calm, beach neighborhood that’s perfect for daily walks and fresh air. While I don’t have a fenced in yard, I love staying active and providing pups with plenty of outdoor time and exercise throughout their stay. About: I’ve been watching cats since I was 12. What first started as helping neighbors with feed/medicate their cats turned into a full blown love for cats. I’ve had two cats, Milo and Tiggy. Both very different Milo (pictured) was a wild cat, who needed plenty of exercise and attention. Tiggy, more resembled Garfield who loved to eat and cuddle up to you whenever you were on the couch. I understand cats needs depend on their personalities but I can assure you i can build trust and safely watch over your cat while you’re away.

About: Growing up in an animal loving home, I have had the responsibility of taking care of dogs, cats, fish, hermit crabs, birds, turtles, mice, Guinea pigs, and an iguana. Friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed, brush, clean, bathe, and play with their animals. I treat them as if they were my own and as if they were human. I currently work Monday to Friday 8-4:30pm and I am home on weekends. I am able to walk, feed, play, and follow potty schedules as you do in your home after work, on the weekends, or in my home for boarding. I do have owners who are ok with their dogs being in my home while I am at work but it is all about whatever you feel comfortable with! I have a fenced in yard with three house trained, dog friendly doggos. They get a walk everyday and let out as much as they need. My husband and I love to go in the backyard with them and run around or take them on adventures in the car. My dogs do sleep in our room, either in their beds or on our bed, whatever they prefer and that is the same option I will always give your dog. I can crate if needed/requested. Wally and Reed are fed three small meals a day, once in the morning, afternoon, and evening, but I know not everyone’s food schedule is this way. All feedings are separated from your dogs. My older dog has allergies and is given allergy medication daily as well as ear drops which makes me capable of following a medication routine. We also have a Furbo indoor camera that has all eyes on the dogs at all times and baby gates to separate large areas of our home just incase anything were to ever happen. There are times where I will be sitting other dogs as well as yours. All dogs are slowly introduced on leash in the backyard in a safe environment. I allow the dogs to take the time they need to settle in and get a feel and sense of smell of their surroundings. If an owner feels as though the stay will not work out, I am completely understanding. I would never want an owner or dog to ever feel uncomfortable in my home. If you are unsure of your dogs feelings toward other dogs, especially males, I always recommend a meet and greet in advance. I have never cared for a special needs animal, but I have taken care of very sick animals and making sure they are comfortable and accommodated for. If you have a special needs dog and are considering me, I would make all the accommodations necessary to make your pet feel right at home and comfortable.

I am a passionate emergency room nurse who has enjoyed being a dog owner all of my life, and have had dogs ranging in size from extra small (miniature dachshunds) to extra large (German Shepherds, labs, pit bulls etc!) I absolutely love caring for animals and keeping pets happy and safe. My two dogs now are both large mutts who enjoy each other’s company along with getting treats and running in dog parks . I have no problem driving outside of my area and making accommodations based on your dogs needs. If there are any special instructions be sure to let me know and I will be happy to go by them. She was the only fur baby that was my own but i learned more from her than my family dogs! My dog walking availability is typically between 6:00 AM and 3:00 PM, making me a great option for morning walks, midday potty breaks, exercise sessions, and companionship while you’re at work. I am also available for doggy daycare and overnight stays on a limited basis depending on my training and competition schedule. My home is clean, pet-friendly, and designed to provide a safe, comfortable environment for visiting dogs.
