“Candace is wonderful! It was obvious she has an affection for dogs as soon as we, and our Boston, met her. She has lots of room for running and playing. She sent pictures several times showing how comfortable Pru was at her home. She took great care of her "houseguest". I have no reservations about recommending her, and we will definitely use her again when we are in the area.”

“Rita is a wonderful pet sitter. From the moment I met her I felt that my senior dog was in great hands. We thoroughly discussed his needs and Rita asked some great questions. She put my mind at ease immediately. Rita provided me with updates during my trip and it was very reassuring to know that my old buddy was in good hands. I highly recommend Rita and will definitely use her again!”

“Chulito had a great overnight stay with Beth. In his eleven years, it was the first time we ever left him with a stranger so we were a little anxious. But Beth wasn't a stranger for long. She was kind and loving toward him, and sent us several videos throughout the day. Seeing him wagging his tail and playing with the other dogs reassured us that he was fine and we could relax and enjoy the wedding we were attending. The next time Chulito needs petsitting served with TLC, we will definitely head over to Beth's again.”

“We've used Barbra twice now and she's been just wonderful with our anxious, timid dog. She's excellent with communication and providing photo updates. I can tell Charlie enjoys his time there and I would highly recommend her!”

“Jill & Tommy were great! Milly had a great time playing with 5 new friends and we were kept updated with texts & pictures daily. Today she seems lonely with just me on a rainy Monday. Paul & Marybeth”

“My Frenchies are my children: there is nothing more important to me in this world. I have never left them with anyone (Henry almost 2; Sammy 1). I combed Rover for 5 hours over the course of a few days and serendipitously landed on Jen's profile. I was SOLD after our "Meet and Greet." You can just feel how special Jen is when you meet her. Jen was in constant communication with me; staying with her was basically a vacation for my boys; she sent me #allthephotos; she updated me multiple times a day; she made sure my special needs baby got all the special attention he requires; and when I picked the boys up my little Sammy was still watching Jen as we were about to leave. I know that he misses her, and that makes me so happy that she bonded with him that way. Listen. All my future trips - work or professional - will be planned around Jen's availability. Simply put, she is an amazing human being whose passion is caring for animals.”

“The fact that Courtney is a vet was one of the reasons I reached out to see if she was able to watch Sunny for a weekend while I was out of town due to how anxious she can get. Let me tell you, she did not disappoint. During the meet and greet, she asked about emergency vet info and offered her office as an option for urgent but non-emergency situations since I don’t have a primary emergency vet. She was aware of Sunny’s needs while she was there. Courtney also kept great communication and sent lots of videos and pics during her stay. I would 10/10 recommend her and will definitely be booking services with her again when the time comes!”

“Sandra is an excellent sitter! Our dog Chico was very happy to be with her! Definitely we will go back to her as needed and certainly highly recommend Sandra as a pet sitter!”

“Juliana was truly a godsend, I can’t imagine leaving Milton with anyone else, she took amazing care of him, sent us photos and updates everyday and truly made it feel like he was staying with extended family ❤️ she treated him like one of her own dogs and we will absolutely be using her for all of our future trips!”

“Jenny was absolutely wonderful!!! Our reservation depended on the plans of others and she was very flexible with the changes we had to make. An added bonus was that the doggies were happy. I will definitively select her the next time that we go out of town!”

“Best dog sitter. Had to leave my fur baby for a few days at a time. Alison was the best with her. Sometimes I think my dog would have rather stayed with Alison. She had so much fun playing. Sad I moved away. Giving the highest recommendation!!”

“Stephanie was amazing! She took great care of my dogs and sent tons of updates and photos. She’s very communicative and accommodating and made sure to get all the details about them so they would have a safe and fun stay. They were very happy and well-loved and had the best time! We’ll definitely stay again!”
“We always use Justin and Stephanies services, but this was the first time Gus boarded with them. As always, we had a great experience. Gus came back home happy and calm. He enjoyed being out on their deck area and fenced yard! Thank you, Justin and Stephanie!”

“Anjali took very good care of my pups while I was away. She messages back quickly with correspondence. She also sent pic updates, which I love and appreciates so much. I highly recommend this rover sitter. Her son also had a lot of fun playing with one of my pups. All and all, very positive experience. Thank you!”

“I have never felt so secure leaving my babies with someone else! Aubrey is thorough, caring, informed, and trustworthy!! My 6y and 6m dogs had a blast and I could not be happier 🤩”

“OMG! Alyssa and Marcus were amazing!!! It was Sam's first time being away from home. I was super nervous because he can get a little anxious and I didn't know how he would adjust to being away from home. We thought about it over some time and Alyssa and Marcus were able to accomodate our plans last minute. Before the reservation was even finalized, they were so helpful and reassuring. They kept me updated throughout his stay with so many pictures and reassurances. It really put my mind at ease. Sam had such a good time with Zara, Alyssa, and Marcus...I think he was upset he had to leave! I can't imagine sending him anywhere else. I definitely weill be booking with them again.”

“This was our first time boarding our dog, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. Chyann was incredibly sweet, attentive, and caring, and it was clear from the start that she genuinely loves animals. She provided regular updates, photos, and messages, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Our dog was well cared for, comfortable, and happy throughout the stay. She has a natural way with animals and made the entire experience stress-free for both us and our pup. We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a safe, trustworthy, and loving environment for their dog.”

“Our dog Lucy had a great stay with Sarah and her husband. They were attentive to her needs and sent many updates and pictures during Lucy's stay. They are courteous and totally reliable. We will definitely be using them again. Highly recommended!”

“Laura was a fantastic dog sitter! She was flexible with scheduling pick up/drop off, sent an update with a photo, and our pup seemed to have a great time with her. We will definitely use her services again!”

“Aimee was great! This was my first time using Rover and she made me feel super comfortable by stopping in for a quick visit with myself and the puppy. During her visit she sent lots of pictures and was prompt with her arrival time. Will use her again!!”

“Maria was great with my cat while I was away for two weeks. She sent daily updates with photos, which gave me an immense peace of mind. Cleaned the litter boxes and fed my cat according to the instructions we discussed during our meet & greet. She even managed to win over my very shy cat who usually hides from strangers. We returned to a very happy, relaxed cat. Highly recommend!"”

“Diana was wonderful with my pup! He gave her a bit of a hard time going outside at first since he’s used to only going out with me, but she was patient and he quickly warmed up to her. She kept me updated with great communication and sent pictures the whole time, which gave me so much peace of mind. I’ll definitely be using her services again. Thank you so much, Diana!”

“We have 7 cats between 2 households and Julia sent photos and updated me every step of the way via texts while we were away. Our normal caregiver, who is not with Rover.com, backed out on us 4 days before we were going away and Julia was glad to help and arranged a meet and greet right away to learn where everything was and when to feed the kitty crew. If I had any questions about how things were going, Julia got back to me within a few minutes. I would recommend her to anyone who needs a pet care giver.”

Whether caring for pets in my home or in your home, I focus on maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I follow feeding schedules, provide exercise and playtime, and make sure pets receive plenty of attention and affection. My goal is for pets to feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away.

About: I’ve owned and cared for cats, dogs, fish, rodents and reptiles for more than 45 years. I would be happy to share the love with your furry (or otherwise) family members too. I currently have a sheepadoodle that loves other dogs and people, so he would love to have a playmate to come and take walks and spend time with us. I currently work from home so I have plenty of freedom to spoil all the pets in my care. I do look after my 3 year old grandson sometimes so getting along with children would be an important quality if your pet should come to stay with me. I have a fenced yard and a very friendly sheepadoodle that gets along with both dogs and cats. We love to go on walks too.

“Dante was an amazing caretaker! I received photo updates throughout her stay as she got to enjoy playing with his lil Frenchie. I received a lovely report upon pickup too, as she was smiling away!! She loved playing with tennis balls AND she didn’t tear up one of them!! THAT IS A MIRACLE!! My tennis balls have never survived a Belinda! Once Belinda and I arrived home, she went straight to sleep and snoozed all night. She had a GREAT day! Thank you so much, Dante, for your flexibility and for taking great care of my best girl!!”

About: I’m a devout animal lover with two dogs of my own and one cat. Caring for animals is truly one of my favorite joys in life! My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home when they’re in my care. My senior dog recently passed from a rare lung cancer so I’m experienced in delivering oral medication, round the clock care and attention, and moving at their pace. Your baby will be well taken care of. I work remote so I am able to give your dog lots of love and attention throughout the day. Your dog will be able to take potty breaks every two hours in the fenced-in yard and spend time outside. We typically go for walks in the early morning and late evening. My Rover calendar is updated daily so that I can support any urgent needs, when available. Boarding & Daycare: My ultimate goal is to give your dog a home away from home! I only board one dog at a time so that I can give them adequate, individualized attention all throughout the day. You will not find a sitter in Wilmington that is as attentive as I am. My pets are kept separate during boarding. Your dog will have access to the entire first floor and the fenced in-backyard. I have a dedicated bedroom for boarding where I can sleep with dogs who may have separation anxiety to ensure they are comfortable. Drop-in visits & Walks: I‘ll take my time getting to know your dog and make sure they’re comfortable with me being there. I like to sit with them for a few minutes before and after each walk to feel out their energy levels. On walks, I recognize that this is their social time so I go at their pace and let them get plenty of sniff time. I am very respectful of your home and will follow your instructions closely.

Pet care has been a way of life for me for the last 13 years, I own an animal rescue but am taking a 2 year hiatus, but miss having dogs around all day. I also have Mr Donovan, 110 pound hound mix that lost his 2 playmates in the last 2 months, so he would love having another friend to hang/ play with.

“Grace has done an outstanding job walking our two large dogs. She takes great pictures of the dogs during the walks and sends them to us with a detailed report of the walk. She is timely and has taken on many last minute requests from us. We have been very happy with her services. Thanks, Grace!”

About: I have been a pet appreciation magnet as long as I can remember. Even when I am not aiming for the attention, the pets gravitate my way, and i have scritches and belly rubs for them all. I have a rescue of my own for 6+ years now, bichon/poodle mix. Though he had a traumatic start before me, he has adjusted well and is a cuddle bug, and getting better with his socialization with new doggos. I have been a dog sitter for friends over the last 8+ years, when they go on trips. I have experience in minor training, like sit/stay/leash leading, for a few breeds up to 50-70 lbs (no certificates, just repitition and patience). Positive recognition of good behavior and moderate activity (to remedy the bad behavior) when you need me are what I hope to share with your furry family members. I am currently working part-time, so i can set up a schedule of regular pet attention care during part day time hours. Currently I have weekends free if weekend care is requested, though this may change if requests are light. I am working on my house to be able to provide overnight care in the future, making it care friendly for additional furry friends. I have a fenced in, good size yard, and a medium size fur baby of my own to greet stay over friends, though my house needs a little more time for prep before we are ready. I am happy to do drop-ins and day or eve walks at your home, and follow any/all your rules. I respect your needs and want to make sure your fur baby is safe and happy in my care. I keep trainer treats in my car, if we need to practice a few basic commands, as well as water and other care essentials. I have a back seat hammock/cover for the pet's safety when traveling (as needed). I also have a med to large dog kennel I can put in the way back of my SUV if that is preferred for safety and security.

About: I bring hands-on, real-world experience from working at a professional dog daycare called Fetch, where I regularly supervised groups of 17–20 dogs at once. This taught me how to read canine body language, manage group play safely, and ensure every dog feels comfortable and enriched. Beyond daycare work, I’ve also done individual dog walking and spent time volunteering at local shelters, where I walked dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. These experiences have helped me build patience, confidence, and strong handling skills. Whether your dog is playful, shy, high-energy, or needs a little extra reassurance, I’m committed to creating a safe, positive, and fun experience for them. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I dedicate Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays entirely to it. I treat pet care like a full-time responsibility on those days, making sure I have plenty of time for walks, play, feedings, and attention. When I’m caring for someone’s pet, they become my priority, and I make sure their routine is followed and their needs are fully met. In my own home, I’ve cared for my dog since he was a puppy—we started with crate training and now he enjoys playtime in our fenced yard and daily walks. Because of that experience, I’m comfortable with different routines and training styles. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m very flexible and always follow the routine their dog is used to. Whether that means crate time, specific walking schedules, certain feeding instructions, or favorite play activities, I make sure to care for their pet the same way they would. My goal is to keep each dog comfortable, safe, and happy by sticking to what feels familiar to them.
“Raelyn is an absolute pleasure! She’s incredibly attentive and makes accommodations specific to your pup’s needs. I’m so grateful to have her help me out! She’s also very responsive and sends detailed report cards and pictures every single day. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone!”

About: I have been dog sitting since I was a kid. My neighbors, friends, and family would always reach out to me to care for their dogs while away or just to walk and let them out on a busy day. I have some experience training dogs, grooming them, and giving medications. I have also helped foster dogs! I am active and love to walk and play with pups but can also act as a great companion or company! I work 3 days out of the week. I am looking to care for pets on the days that I am not working. My schedule differs each week. I am looking for something to keep me busy and entertained on those days! I am safe and knowledgeable when it comes to pet care. I am comfortable coming into your home and handling your pet and of course cleaning up their messes! I love being outside, playing and being active! But I also love hanging out and being a companion when your fur baby needs it.
“Diana was wonderful to have to walk both my dogs, it was a last minute decision to use Rover for the first time and I’m happy I gave it a try. I would def recommend Diana and would surely use her again in the future. Thanks for everything!”

My dog seemed happy and well-cared for when I got home. I would definitely recommend Christa to other pet owners. I hope this is helpful!”

About: I've had pets my entire life and often pet sit for my close family. I enjoy meeting and caring for fur-babies, including taking them on walks. On Monday through Friday, I can stop by one to two times each day and can spend more time in the evening. I have more flexibility on weekends. I can come to your home to care for your fur baby. I currently have 2 mature cats who are territorial, so can't bring other pets into my home.

About: While I’m currently a cat mom, I’ve grown up around all breeds of dogs. I have been pet sitting for neighbors and friends for 10+ years. My night shift work schedule leaves me plenty of flexibility during the days. I work night shift 8p to 8a in a hospital three rotating days a week so I have a good deal of flexibility during the day time. I’d prefer to set up a time to meet with you and your pet prior to the first service to get a feel for the care they’ll need as well as make sure they are comfortable with me.

About: For the past 4 years I have been pet sitting and dog walking for multiple families and have 3 dogs of my own and 3 cats. I have two boxers and a great dane, and I am a true animal lover and would be thrilled to be able to take care of your fur babies! I am a very available, I do work night shift 2-3 nights a week 7pm-7:30 am. I am usually up early as well and open to any times. At other people’s homes I make sure to follow whatever rules are given, and I respect boundaries that are given as well. Along with that, I always keep watch on animals that I am walking and or sitting.
About: I’ve had dogs basically all my life. I have a lot of experience with puppies and adult dogs of all sizes. I can give medication. I can work on basic obedience with puppies. Or help with pregnant dogs also. I’m available pretty much anytime. I used to be a caregiver for my mom. So I’m pretty much available anytime now. I can be available during the day or evening. I have a very large yard and also have a good size dog kennel. I never leave my own dogs out alone. I also have cameras outside. And inside dogs are welcome to get on the furniture or whatever.
About: I would like to cuddle new buddies, probably give them a fresh nickname and too many treats (if allowed). Special treatment is an understatement, royal canine treatment would be more like it! I work full time but will be able to add weekend walks and checks for furry friends. I will enjoy spending time outdoors in the nicer weather. If the weather does not cooperate I hope your pup has a rain coat because I am a sucker for dogs in rain coats. I treat my housemates better than myself, they make the rules and I oblige them with a cheerful disposition. Filtered water? You bet. Don’t like that food anymore? No problem! Want to block my airway while sleeping? Cool, I can breathe later!
About: I've been caring for cats and dogs as a volunteer at the salem county humane society for over two years and have been a certified veterinary assistant for nearly three. I'm responsible for the general care that dogs need like walking, feeding and cleaning. I love caring for dogs and walking them for as long as they may need I'm currently available all days and hours of the week including weekends. I'm open to every given opportunity. The only thing i cannot do is bring pets to my home. I care for pets as needed and requested by the client. I am well aware of any and all things dogs depends on humans for including medical attention and consider every possible issue a pet may be experiencing.
“Alysa was awesome with Charlie! He got his exercise and some play time with her and he loved it! If I ever need services again I will definitely be happy to have Alysa hang with Charlie when I am out of town!”

About: My love for dogs has been with me since I was a kid, but it truly took off when I got into hiking and the outdoors! There’s something magical about seeing a dog’s pure excitement on the trail—the way their tail wags nonstop, the burst of energy as they explore, and that unshakable bond they share with their humans. Watching my friends' dogs thrive on these adventures made me realize just how much I love being around dogs, and soon enough, I found myself pet sitting for coworkers while they traveled. That’s when everything clicked—I wasn’t just helping out, I was doing something that brought me real joy! Over the past two years, I’ve gained a deep understanding of dog behavior, problem-solving, and structured care. I know how important trust and communication are when it comes to caring for someone’s pet, and I always keep owners in the loop with updates and insights into their dog’s well-being. I’ve also developed a strong ability to read body language, making sure every dog I watch feels safe, comfortable, and excited for their time with me! Whether it’s juggling multiple dogs with different needs, sticking to medication and feeding schedules, or adapting to new situations with patience and confidence, I’m always ready to step up and provide the best possible care. Now that I’m back home in New Jersey, I’m beyond excited to continue this journey! I’m always looking to grow, learn, and bring even more love and energy to the dogs I care for. For me, pet sitting isn’t just a job—it’s something I truly love doing! I can’t wait to meet your pup and make sure they’re happy, safe, and having the best time ever! I currently have full availability from Thursday to Sunday, allowing me to dedicate plenty of time to your pet. On Monday through Wednesday, I work a flexible schedule that still allows for drop-in services, walks, feeding, and other care needs. I am happy to work with your specific situation and can accommodate hybrid or work-from-home scenarios to ensure your dog receives the attention they deserve. Creating a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for pets is my top priority! I will adhere to your expectations and routines; Prepare meals and refresh water regularly; Provide daily walks, playtime, and exercises tailored to your dog's needs; maintain hygiene and grooming; Send updates and communication to pet owner; Secure outdoor areas and ensure leash handling during walks.

“All the hype about Dante is true! He’s communicative, accommodating, and really great energy. He asks a lot of questions to ensure my Kado was well taken care of. Dante is someone who truly loves what he does and that makes me happy. I think Kado and I found a permanent sitter until Dante retires us lol”

“Marissa was fantastic with my dog!! She kept me updated with photos and texts about how well they were getting along. Marissa was very accommodating and asked all the right questions about my dog's care when i booked her the first time. I could tell she took great care of my buddy while i was away. Loved the extra touches she did with the paw prints and necktie! I definitely would recommend her! She will see repeat bookings from me for sure!”

“Miles loves spending time with Brian and his family (people and dogs). Brian is communicative, reliable, very easy to work with, and clearly loves animals. He takes excellent care of our dog, and I would absolutely recommend him and trust him with my pets. We're very glad to have found you. Thanks!”
