My schedule is pretty flexible since I am home all day and I can take care of your fur babies pretty much all every time !!!! About: I have been around dogs and cats my whole life. Up until recently, I have raised 2 dogs for the past 15 years and cats prior to/during part of that time. About: First and foremost, I love our furry little friends! I have a beautiful 4.5 year old Bluetick Coonhound/German Shepard mix named Scarlet & she is the love of my life. We love relaxing & snuggling together, walking, running, playing with a soccer ball & of course she loves being chased around with her toy. She is well trained unless she’s being her stubborn hound self! I also grew up with 3 cats and a Beagle/Chihuahua mix, which was my first dog at 17. Even at that age I would take her on walks in the park or neighborhood, plays games with her & give her all the love she wanted. She was a feisty one with medicating but she trusted me the most in doing it. I’ve worked at an animal clinic for over 8 years. I am well trained with medicating pets, senior pets & nervous/anxious pets. Even though my days during the week are filled with meeting new dogs/cats or seeing my favorite patients, there’s always room for more love to give! I work full time during the week at the animal hospital (Monday-Thursday) but I am available on weekends for those that work or have plans :) I make sure the pet’s collar/leash are well secured on them so there is no chance for them to get loose while on a walk. I will make sure all gates are closed. As part of being a vet tech I am trained in trimming nails & expressing anal glands, as well as knowing if there is an issue that needs to be addressed by a doctor. If your pet has any specific medical, food or behavioral needs I am very experienced to assist! :)

“Lauren was wonderful! My Oliver was a very recent rescue and is an extremely anxious dog. When I had to leave him for three nights for a work trip after I’d only had him for a few weeks, I was really worried about how he would do. Happily, all of my worrying was for nothing—he did great! Lauren was very patient with him, and he immediately felt comfortable with her. She understood his need for a calm environment and gave him exactly what he needed. She also sent numerous photos/updates, understanding my concern about having to leave him. I’ll definitely book her again the next time I need to go away.”
