“Kiana was truly amazing. I had a sudden family emergency that required me to go out of state. She went so far above and beyond during that time, while having no obligation to do so. From the beginning of the cats stay with Kiana, she had been so incredibly flexible, she agreed to watch them with only two days notice, and due to the situation evolving and becoming unpredictable, she was more than happy to allow me to extend their stay. She was the direct cause of so much stress relief due to knowing the cats were safe, and well taken care of. 5/5 human. As for her actual care of the kitties she again went well above and beyond anything anyone might think is going the extra mile. The cats were given the space needed to become comfortable and very quickly, and happily adapted to the new routine. I received frequent pictures and videos, she was very communicative, and because of her vigilance we were able to create a plan of action for one of the kitties who started throwing up more frequently than normal. She even went out and bought higher quality food for the cats, and implemented a structured feeing strategy so we could better assess the puking, which I doubt was an easy task since they both free fed before they were boarded. She kept me up to date at all times and provided regular, detailed updates. 5/5 for animal care as well. She is the best sitter/boarder I have ever had any experience with, by exponents, it’s not even close. Her service was head, and shoulders above anyone I’ve personally used before and far better than anything I’ve heard about other boarders. Choosing Kiana to care for your pets should be an insanely easy decision for anyone who wants their animals taken care of at the highest level of care, and wants someone that is just a straight up good human as well.”

About: I know how important it is to find the right person to watch over your pets. My home is a haven for dogs, with a fully fenced-in backyard where they can play, sniff, sunbathe, and explore safely. My Golden Retriever, Marshall, is a sweet and well-loved boy who adores making new friends. He loves to play with other dogs, nap on the couch, and splash in a pool on a hot day. I always make time for my dog whether it’s taking walks during breaks, playing in the yard, enrichment games, or sunbathing time (for the dogs, not me) I have a fully fenced in backyard that always has fresh water for the pups. There’s plenty of toys to play with, shade under a gazebo, and on a hot day, a mini pool to cool off in! The yard is treated with all natural, pet safe flea and tick deterrent.

About: I am a very detail oriented individual who has loved raised animals since I was a child. “After meeting with Gwen we felt they were a good fit, and we scheduled nightly check ins/ feedings for our cats for the 10 days we would be visiting family. We made it clear that our priority is the cats getting love and attention and they consistently played with and loved on our cats. They are great at following instructions and not only made sure our cats were loved and fed but also took care of our many plants, and even tackled the weekly deep clean of our giant litter box! About: My partner, April, and I have been caring for dogs our whole lives. We have experience working with different ages, breeds, temperaments, and varying levels of special needs care. We began our training journey when we rescued our two german Shepards and trained them as our service dogs. Our girls, Maya and Sadie, have grown so much in these past years! I’m looking to spend more of my free time caring for pets because animals have always been a huge part of my life! 🐾 I’ve been around animals almost my entire life, including dogs, cats, birds, ferrets, guinea pigs (I cared for 9 rescue guinea pigs for nearly 5 years), and even a chameleon for about 5 years. 🐾 I don’t currently have pets of my own, so becoming a pet sitter is the perfect way to spend time with animals while helping families who need reliable care. 🐾 I understand how stressful it can be to leave your pet with someone new. He's very responsible and will be supervised by me on all walks. He is looking to find 1-3 local families to Newburyport that he could come in the afterschool hours for walking, playing, feeding, etc. He is also available for weekends, puppy sitting/training, and energetic play time such as throwing a ball, going for runs, or long walks around the neighborhood. About: I've been a special needs dog owner, am honored to be loved by my partner's parrot, as well as taken care of other dogs, cats, rabbits, geese, goats, and am a horse person. I can throw hay, if given proper instructions can put together the morning grain. I love taking care of bonded pairs of house rabbits, as well as curling up with a doggo or a kitty. If I'm doing in home, I tend to first feed the pet(s) in the morning, before I get myself breakfast, and the same for dinner. If drop in is needed, I'll be there morning, & evening, potentially mid day as well. I tend to sit for new clients in their home, depending upon established client I may sit in my house for well behaved dogs. If at my house, your dog will never be outside without some sort of leash, whether it's a 6' or a 50' long line, as I have a not fenced in yard, with a well traveled road at the end of my driveway.

About: My love for animals started at a really young age and it only grew from there. I grew up with all different breeds from shitzus to Mastiffs each hold a special place in my heart. At 16 I started volunteering at a rescue. There I tended and cared for all different animals from horses and goats to cats and dogs. I’ve cared for many animals at all different life stages from newborn puppies, kittens, and kids to senior pets all the way up until their last day. I have 8 years experience not only with rescue dogs but one with high anxiety, as I even have one of my own. I am currently a Veterinay assistant and work about 40 hours a week. I have 5 years worth of veterinary knowledge and can meet your pet where they are at. I currently have 3 dogs and 1 cat all at different life stages. About: I have dropped in for large dog care. I have stayed in a house watching 3 small dogs. I personally had a lab growing up. I have taken care of a large dog and small dog and stayed at their home. I personally have a cat and I love all animals. I would be great as someone who can walk dogs early in the morning or in the evening and I have some availability throughout the day as well. I have a flexible schedule and work remote so I can work around my schedule. I want to make sure all the pets I care for are comfortable. Access to clean fresh water for all pets is a must. I love to play with dogs and cats whether that be toys or lasers. I love going on walks and making sure dogs have proper exercise. I would follow all instructions left for me diligently.

“Kiana was truly amazing. I had a sudden family emergency that required me to go out of state. She went so far above and beyond during that time, while having no obligation to do so. From the beginning of the cats stay with Kiana, she had been so incredibly flexible, she agreed to watch them with only two days notice, and due to the situation evolving and becoming unpredictable, she was more than happy to allow me to extend their stay. She was the direct cause of so much stress relief due to knowing the cats were safe, and well taken care of. 5/5 human. As for her actual care of the kitties she again went well above and beyond anything anyone might think is going the extra mile. The cats were given the space needed to become comfortable and very quickly, and happily adapted to the new routine. I received frequent pictures and videos, she was very communicative, and because of her vigilance we were able to create a plan of action for one of the kitties who started throwing up more frequently than normal. She even went out and bought higher quality food for the cats, and implemented a structured feeing strategy so we could better assess the puking, which I doubt was an easy task since they both free fed before they were boarded. She kept me up to date at all times and provided regular, detailed updates. 5/5 for animal care as well. She is the best sitter/boarder I have ever had any experience with, by exponents, it’s not even close. Her service was head, and shoulders above anyone I’ve personally used before and far better than anything I’ve heard about other boarders. Choosing Kiana to care for your pets should be an insanely easy decision for anyone who wants their animals taken care of at the highest level of care, and wants someone that is just a straight up good human as well.”

About: I know how important it is to find the right person to watch over your pets. My home is a haven for dogs, with a fully fenced-in backyard where they can play, sniff, sunbathe, and explore safely. My Golden Retriever, Marshall, is a sweet and well-loved boy who adores making new friends. He loves to play with other dogs, nap on the couch, and splash in a pool on a hot day. I always make time for my dog whether it’s taking walks during breaks, playing in the yard, enrichment games, or sunbathing time (for the dogs, not me) I have a fully fenced in backyard that always has fresh water for the pups. There’s plenty of toys to play with, shade under a gazebo, and on a hot day, a mini pool to cool off in! The yard is treated with all natural, pet safe flea and tick deterrent.

He had him outside a ton, gave him great walks, followed our specific food instructions perfectly, and just genuinely obviously cared about Riggs being safe and comfortable. “Highly recommend! We have a 10 month old Irish Setter puppy and had her set to go to a kennel. We found the kennel was awful, but we had to leave her as we were heading out of the country the same day. I found Gabrielle and Sara through Rover and they responded immediately. They went over and picked up our girl first thing the next day and took great care of her for two weeks. I regularly received pictures and updates. She was well taken care of and happy pup when I returned home. I highly recommend them.”
