About: I've owned and cared for animals since high school. In addition to dogs and cats, I've owned horses since I was 16. I have been\am a foster parent for the Animal Rescue League of Boston since 2020. I'm a former puppy foster for service dogs and participated with early puppy training. I have carried those skills over to training other foster puppies and my personal dog. I have a medical background (EMT) and my daughter is a Vet Tech so I am very comfortable working with animals with medical needs and will follow any required medical plan. In addition to dogs and cats, I'd love to meet\care for your backyard farm animals; horses, pot-bellied pigs, chickens, goats, sheep, etc. I have experience with some of these animals through ownership and fostering opportunities. I'm open to meeting and learning about new friends. We currently have 4 dogs, 4 cats, and 2 horses in our home. All our animals are our babies and I'll care for yours as if they were my own. I'm currently unemployed so I'll have plenty of time to spend with your pets. I'm available for petsitting any day of the week and can work around any personal appointments. Boarding in my home is restricted to cats or other small animals. Puppies (under 1 year) may be accomodated, no adult dogs. For cats; we have a dedicated "cat room" to keep your pet separated from our pets. The room has a screen door so they don't feel locked away and can be part of our household while remaining safe. I will follow your pet care plan while in your home. For Puppies; all dogs are fed separately to avoid food aggression situations. All puppies will be crated for meals and sleeping overnight. If your puppy is not crate trained, I will work with them to ensure they are comfortable and not afraid. I can support your potty training schedule to maintain consistency.

About: I’ve been working with dogs since I was 7 years old at my grandmothers dog grooming salon. I’ve always loved both dogs and cats, and I’ve always felt a connection to them. I now have a dog and cat, and am open to caring for more animals! Pet care fits into my daily and weekly routine very easily. I have had my golden retriever, Kona, for just over 9 years and he is my best friend. (He recently passed away from liver cancer) I now have 5 cats and sometimes foster for a local non-profit. One of my cats needs a daily oral medication, so I have experience dispensing liquid medication to cats and have also given shots to diabetic cats before. I’m happy to check up on your feline friend while you’re away or house sit and water your plants as well. I miss my Kona man so much, so I’ll spend as much time with your canine as you would like with some extra playtime and cuddles to get my dog fix! I’m in school full time in the fall but have full availability over the summer. When house sitting I won’t be able to be there 24/7 but I’m happy to do an overnight if you need it. I may need to work for 3 hours but never more than that. I have 5 cats at home correctly, so I’d prefer to pet sit in your home as bringing in more pets to our already loud house will be a little chaotic. I follow best practices when walking on the leash and will follow all your care instructions. Be prepared for tons of pictures from me!

“I highly recommend Julia and Connor! We overnight boarded our dog for 1 night with them and they were great with her! She was spoiled rotten. I got tons of updates with pictures and she played non-stop with their adorable dog, Mango! Their yard is so pretty with a large fenced in space for running around. 10/10 experience!
