About: My family has had pets my entire life, and I've grown up with dogs and cats, so the question of how many years of experience I have is difficult to answer. I have a lot of experience being around animals, but I obviously was not the primary caregiver for our pets during my childhood. I am very fond of animals (of course), and would love to get to know your furry friends and help them get out and about! I'm a student in college at UVM, so I am around to hang out with your pets in between and after my classes! Because of the way they are spaced out, I'm usually free midday or in the afternoon/evening. I put a lot of care into making sure your furry friends are happy and healthy while in my care. About: I have always had a great compassion for animals, I love them all! I have had a few pets (cats and dogs) through the years that came with medical issues which has given me a lot of experience giving medications. I have 4 dogs right now, 2 of them are from trying to foster Millie and Lil Bitti whom are very bonded. So they are what they call my “foster fail”. I won’t be trying that again as much as I would like to help with the rescues. I will be at home to take care of your pet for most of the time. I may leave the house for a couple of hours for an appointment, but try to avoid while I am pet sitting. If your pet is crate trained, I do have extra crates if you prefer not to bring your own. Crate trained is not a requirement for your pup. I have a large fenced in yard for plenty of fun and exercise. I always go outside with the dogs, never unsupervised. They will get low calorie snacks throughout the day, and 1 dental treat at bedtime if allowed. My dogs, as well as most of my clients dogs are small breeds and prefer to be with smaller dogs. It would be best to do a meet and greet to introduce the pups beforehand when possible. We want your pups, as well as ours to feel safe, happy, and at home.

She was happy to watch him for however long I needed, which I loved because I didn't have to rush to and from the fest like I have had to in years past due to using the Commercial Dog Daycare in Newport. She took him to the dog park and sent me a picture of him to check in, and he returned to me as one tired pup, which is good! She is also quick to respond to any messages sent, and will check in with you a day or two prior to watching your dog. She got down on the floor and began making a connection with Sandy instantly. She was always reliable and if she could not make a visit, she would text or call us. We even had Dawn house sit with Sandy when we went away. Dawn made such a lasting impression with Sandy. All I would have to do is say “Dawn is on the way.” and Sandy would make her way over to the door and wait for her. Sometimes for hours. She always greeted her with a handful of treats and a belly rub. As Sandy got older and mobility was an issue Dawn was even more careful helping her down the stairs and walking at her pace up the street. Before starting the services, I always schedule meet-and-greets to get to know the pets, their environment, and their routine. This helps you and your pet feel comfortable with me. I offer in-house overnights, which means I can stay at your house with your pet while you're away. Additionally, I can do drop-ins to your home to let your animals outside for bathroom breaks, walks, or feedings.
About: Petsitting for my neighbors was my first job as kid, and as an adult I continue to enjoy providing pet care services! I love being around animals and taking care of them! I have experience taking care of my senior sick dog. I am currently a student studying Business Management with a minor in Marketing in the UNH online program. As my school is completely online I have a flexible schedule and I am available Monday through Friday with pretty open availability. I currently work part-time in retail on the weekends and typically work during the day so I may be able to help Saturday and Sunday evening if needed. About: I have grown up with animals. For as long as I can remember we owned some type of animal, from fish to goats. We owned them. We always visited my families farms there were cows, horses, pigs and DOGS! I loved the dogs. The dogs and horses were my favorite parts! I was lucky enough to live on my aunts horse farm for a few years and help with the rescue pups that she would foster. She has taught me a lot about working with dogs as well as other animals and how to work with them together and being around each other. I have been dog sitting/boarding for a 10 years now.
