I really appreciated her taking time to talk about all aspects of our dogs stay with her. Our dog Duke was spoiled. He was able to get out and play with her dog and run on the trails. Susan sent me a few emails to let me know Duke had settled in nicely and I even received photos - very nice! Needless to say, he had a wonderful time. I can do that! 💕 I currently have one 30lb lab mix, Ruby, who is a year old- she is very sweet- loves other dogs and people! 🐾 We go on at least one long walk in the woods on our property every day- sometimes adventuring to the river for a dip, or out on the local, less-popular hiking trails. We know all the secret spots ; ) 💕 I love having a little dog pack around, and love watching them play and run together. I believe in providing plenty of outdoor time for playing, sniffing, exploring, listening to nature, or sitting in the sun- whatever your dog needs to be happy! I will meet them where they are at to ensure they are comfortable in a new environment. Leashes will be used until we are sure it’s fine to take them off. 🐾 Trained in basic doggie 101-we usually have basic manners and recall in practice for healthy treats and affection-especially for puppies- and can provide a crate, comfy couch or bed if your pup needs a space to retreat. 💕 My only requirement for care in my home is that your dog must get along with other dogs and cats. I only take 3 at a time the most, in-addition to my own pup. We live on a very private property with an open yard offering plenty of space to run and play. We have a comfy animal-friendly couch and a screened-in porch with a queen-size bed for your pups to nap outside without being “loose”. I have one pup who will be happy to keep your pup company! They will be able to go in and out freely in a natural home setting, (as long as they are okay off leash) and your dog will be cared for like our own. If I visit your home, I would typically have my dog with me to play with yours- unless you specify otherwise. Each visit would be an hour of play and affection, outdoor time, feeding, water, etc.

Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.

The drop off was super easy and Lady, our dog just went into her house, hopped on the couch and asked for belly rubs! You can tell that dogs are loved in this house! We had spotty reception because we were out camping but Anna Julia did send pictures and reassured us Lady was doing great and so my worry eased away. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and cats and have experience training my Labrador through her puppy and adolescent stages. I’m great with both playful puppies and gentle senior pets. I love being active, so walks and outdoor time are always a priority. What sets me apart is my mix of care, patience, and hands-on experience with pets of all ages. Tuesday and Thursday I am available for evenings, along with Friday mornings and some weekends! I do travel during the day which makes pop - ins much more convenient. About: I’ve lived with dogs for my entire 45 years - even through college my parents would drive our family dog to my college apartment (where it wasn't allowed) because they trusted that I would care for him best. I just love being with and caring for all dogs. I’m currently in between jobs, so outside of driving my two teens and walking my 3 dogs, I’m available to provide dog care as needed. You can make the rules as to how I care for and walk your dog in your home. I appreciate that dogs like a routine and I will follow it accordingly.
About: I always tune into the unique personality of each animal and I don't rest until I'm sure the animal knows its safe, loved and cared for. Since I was born I have loved animals so genuinely and patiently that I've never encountered a problem, even with the hard to figure out ones. I love them all and my husband does as well. Therefore we treat our pets like they're one of us, with plentiful attention. We are complete home-bodies. We like spending time outdoors, and going for walks. Our home is very inviting as well, with a fenced yard, multiple spare rooms, close to many trails near by and lots of spare blankets and pillows. About: I am a big time dog lover! I work from home and am able to be here with the pets all day and take them out at least every 2 hours or as needed. I have a big house with a decent sized yard (NOT fenced). I'd love a few more companions hanging out with me and my dog, Lola! There aren't a lot of pet sitting options in this area so here I am making it an option :) Please come check me out! I work from home so i am here all day with the pets and able to tend to them as needed. i get an hour break for lunch and thats usually when i take my dog out to play/walk. I can do that! 💕 I currently have one 30lb lab mix, Ruby, who is a year old- she is very sweet- loves other dogs and people! 🐾 We go on at least one long walk in the woods on our property every day- sometimes adventuring to the river for a dip, or out on the local, less-popular hiking trails. We know all the secret spots ; ) 💕 I love having a little dog pack around, and love watching them play and run together. I believe in providing plenty of outdoor time for playing, sniffing, exploring, listening to nature, or sitting in the sun- whatever your dog needs to be happy! I will meet them where they are at to ensure they are comfortable in a new environment. Leashes will be used until we are sure it’s fine to take them off. 🐾 Trained in basic doggie 101-we usually have basic manners and recall in practice for healthy treats and affection-especially for puppies- and can provide a crate, comfy couch or bed if your pup needs a space to retreat. 💕 My only requirement for care in my home is that your dog must get along with other dogs and cats. They will be able to go in and out freely in a natural home setting, (as long as they are okay off leash) and your dog will be cared for like our own. If I visit your home, I would typically have my dog with me to play with yours- unless you specify otherwise. Each visit would be an hour of play and affection, outdoor time, feeding, water, etc.
About: I have owned many dogs over the years plus have over 7 years in the dog rescue business. Having volunteered with Legacy Humane Society based in McKinney, Texas as a foster, mentor, board member, event planner, social media lead and more, I've gained knowledge and learned so much! I am familiar with medications, oral and injectable and comfortable administering if needed. I have fostered pregnant dogs, birthed litters and raised them, fostered 150 lb great danes and a 15 lb chihuahua. Our most recent two pets were a black lab that passed away of old age and currently own a 40 lb mutt. I love dogs and miss fostering since we travel on the road. I have also helped care for my Mom's 90 lb Cane Corso who had to have insulin injections twice per day.

About: Hi! We’re Charlotte and Lucas. We’re animal lovers who have always had pets as part of our family, and caring for them is one of our favorite parts of daily life. Right now, we have a golden retriever who thinks everyone is his best friend and three cats who each have their own personalities. Our pets, as well as our lifetime of experience as pet caregivers has taught us how to juggle different needs, from high-energy walks to quiet cuddle time. We understand what it’s like to worry when you’re away from your pets, so we make sure the animals we care for feel loved, safe, and at home. Most of all, we want you to feel at ease knowing your pets are being treated with the same love and care we give our own.
“This was our first time with Anna Julia. I really appreciated the communication back and forth before our dog’s stay. The drop off was super easy and Lady, our dog just went into her house, hopped on the couch and asked for belly rubs! You can tell that dogs are loved in this house! We had spotty reception because we were out camping but Anna Julia did send pictures and reassured us Lady was doing great and so my worry eased away. Pick up was super easy as well and we know that Lady will be staying with Anna Julia again. We already booked her future stays.”
