About: I try to make my place a home away from home. We’re a very active family and the dogs will get lots of playtime both inside and out. Both my children absolutely love every dog they have met and are not intimidated by breed or size. I have owned dogs my entire life and have worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility for the past 3yrs. We tend to do a lot of hiking and swimming that the dogs will be included in whenever possible. We have a large mainly shaded fenced in yard that the dogs will have access to all day. I am very patient and caring and will care for your dog as if it were my own. Thank you ? I am currently working full time 730am-4pm about 20min from my home. I do go home on lunch so I will be able to let them out to play, potty and have lunch if needed. Dogs will go outside one last time at midnight( I am a light sleeper so will wake if they need to potty) and will go out again at 530am. Dogs that come to my home will be treated as my own. I have two dogs myself who absolutely love to play and always welcome new friends. I also have a 4yr old and a 7yr old who have never met an animal they do not like and enjoy helping care for any animal in our home. Animals are allowed on the furniture, bedrooms and in our kiddie pool of they like to swim. We are also within walking distance of a brook deep enough to cool off in. If there osever an emergency I am less than 5min from our local vet.
About: I've been around dogs my entire life. At about 5 years old, my father adopted my grandfather's two Beagles and they quickly became my best friends. Today, I have 2 dogs at home, one that's 17 and one that's 7. And still they're my best friends. For as much as I love dogs, it really does feel like they love me back. Whenever I go over anyone's house I hear " Wow he never behaves this well around people normally." Each dog is so unique and the most fun thing for me is learning what makes them wag their little tails! I work from home from my apartment and only have one roommate so I'm incredibly flexible when it comes to scheduling. I'm sure that I could make just about anything work given a small notice. I have a two room apartment and a kitchen. Playing and feeding is easy for me in the apartment, but I also have a park right near me, about a 5 minute walk away.

About: I used to have my own dog sitting/walking business. Then I had a baby so now I can only board dogs at my home. I love all animals. I am home 24/7 with my 2 kids age 4 and 2. I have had cats growing up. I have lots of experience with all breeds of dogs. We have one cat but can put in a separate room if need be. About: I have worked as a recurring dog sitter for several families over the past five years, each with a different breed of dog (Weimaraner, Schnauzer, Dachshund). This has equipped me with the specific tools and knowledge to provide exceptional care grounded in experience. For instance, when the Weimaraner I watch gets anxious due to people walking past the house, I talk to her in a soft voice and pet her until she calms down. If I zip to the store, I will close the blinds so she is not in a position to be triggered by this stimulus.

After completing my full-time police career, I continued my K9 journey overseas, spending eight years in the Middle East providing private K9 handling and instruction in support of Army operations and Private Security detachments.
