Occasionally I also foster puppies at 8 weeks old and start the potty training process and prepare them to go to their furever home. Does your dogs like to sleep on the couch? Perfect! I do too! I tend to treat all animals with the respect and love I give my children and I teach my children the same morals. During my high school years I spent my time after school volunteering at the local veterinary clinic assisting the vet techs preform their daily tasks. Growing up I worked on a dairy farm. “Clarke was great with our meet and greet. She was pleasant to talk to and was great with our dogs. She was attentive to instructions on how to care for our two dogs. Our dogs are old 12 and 14 yo so they occasional have accidents in the house and on our walkways, Clarke was warned about the issues. We were pleased with how well she dealt with the dog's accidents while we were away. Our house was left clean and our walkway was clear. While we were on our vacation, Clarke took pictures of our dogs for us. When we needed to sent Clarke text messages, she was quick to respond back to us regarding our dogs' status. Overall, it was a great experience having Clarke take care of our 2 dogs. I highly recommend her and will use her again if she is available during the time we need her for a job.”

About: I have had a dog at least 20 years. We occasionally have a Labrador a week at a time, he has full run of the house. I do not work, so I am home most of the time. I do local Arts Markets, but those aren't long days. A dog would get lots of attention. I have a fenced in back yard that has plenty of room for playing. The house is one floor, which would be easier on older dogs.

But if you have rules you are working on we are happy to help with those too. We have a large fenced in yard but the snow is high right now. So to be safe we are only taking dogs under 30 lbs. She was clear, always very nice, calming, and she checked to be sure that my dog, Frances, had a temperament which did not object to the presence of her, evidently mellow, two dogs and one cat—she was just very good at customer service. I felt very secure with my dog staying in her (and her husband’s) care. She (and they) obviously knows and cares for dogs. I had useful feedback from the visit (my dog was fine with her cat—(and dogs)—though she has had very little exposure to cats—so it appears vibes are what count with Frances. ) Hannah was friendly even when I changed my time plans on the actual day, oh-so-gently informing me she would definitely modify whenever she could, but she was dealing as well with other customers’ sometimes conflicting schedules. About: Iv had pets my whole life and have pet sat for friends and family many times in the past. I live on the second floor so it might be hard for senior dogs unless they don’t mind being carried, I’m relatively strong so heavier pets won’t be a problem, I can provide puppy pads for puppies and have a large litter box that is sanitized between uses. I am not currently working so I have all the extra time in the world, My children are at school for 8 hours of the day so if your pet(s) prefer no kids the morning/afternoon would be best for you, they’re older and calm kids who love pets so if your pet is ok with kids they’ll get along great. I have an unfenced yard but not many neighbors, I have a fenced in balcony and lots of trails for walking dogs if that’s what they would like to do.

About: I have been a dog owner since I was 5 and for then past 37 years I have had primarily beagles along with one Vizsla with typically 2 at any given time. Our last beagle Charlie passed away a few months ago and while we would like the freedom having no pet allows us we miss the company and unconditional love they offer us. My wife worked as a vet tech for 10 years so we are comfortable administering meds and I have been pretty successful with training pups (yes even beagles). I work mostly from home and my wife has the summers off from teaching so it fits great unto our routine and it would be a pleasure to have dogs underfoot again. We have crates if dogs feel at home in them but they are welcome in all the rooms downstairs. We live on a long dirt road which is perfect for walks and if it gets too hot we have a cool basement and a pond for them to swim in.

Boarding pups will also get multiple 15-30 min walks a day and have full access to my home. I have 2 pups who are 2 different activity levels so someone will always have a friend. The toy basket is bottomless and the couch is fair game :) when your pup stays with me they will always be the number 1 priority.

I always keep and eye on the pets to make sure everyone is acting appropriately and behaving. I will send videos and pictures and make sure you are always kept in the loop on your pets status. I am also a very active person so enjoy going for walks and runs!
About: I have taken care of pets my entire life. Growing up I had 6 fish, 2 bunnies, 2 Guinea Pigs, and a dog. I would often pet sit for many of my neighbors. Working at a wildlife shelter gave me experience caring for and handling wild animals. Working at a veterinary clinic I learned how to work in a team with animals, and how to make sure that pets get the care they need, even under pressure. I am available three days every week. I will allow notice of care how ever many days in advance you need, and a day of cancellation policy. Unfortunately I live in a dorm, and cannot house pets in my apartment. How ever, I have a reliable car and can drive anywhere needed, as well as transport dogs any where needed.

I’m available on weekdays and weekends, and your dog will never be left alone for long periods. I live in a clean and quiet house with no children, no smoking, and multiple extra rooms where visiting dogs can rest comfortably. We also have an open yard where dogs can safely explore under supervision. My dog Million is friendly and fully trained, and I introduce dogs slowly to ensure everyone feels safe. I provide free toys and treats, follow your dog’s routine closely, and send frequent photo and video updates so you always know how your pup is doing.
