“This was the first time my partner and I left our cats longer than eight hours since we adopted them. I knew I wanted to make sure they had someone who could not only to feed them twice a day, but provide a presence for them. Jason took care of our cats while we were gone and when we arrived, it was like they hardly noticed we were gone. They were happy to see us, of course, but they were perfectly content and happy when we got home. Jason gave us constant updates and photos during our trip and honestly left our home better than he found it (we gave it an honest go of cleaning before leaving!). About: I have taken care and owned dogs for over 10 years. I’m currently a dog owner of two, who we have adopted from the shelter. One of our dogs has serve anxiety so I also have experience in that. I am a stay at home mom, my daughter is in school full time so I have a lot of flexibility during the day and also on weekends. About: Your pup must be respectful of cats please. I completely understand curiosity, just not stalking or chasing. I took so much care of our lab when she was 15 and had Cushings. I definitely have a sweet spot for senior pets. She has since crossed the 🌈. Max is our 5 yr old Husky/Lab mix and he's our sweet big boy. We have love for big and small dogs! We have a huge grassy 6 and 4 ft fenced in yard (we connected to our neighbors 4 ft fence - see pictures) and Max would seriously love a friend to play with or just chill with. My husband and I work from home so one of us will be home all the time. We usually go on a mid morning walk and an evening walk, weather permitting. My kids are 11 and 16 and adore animals. We have a cat, Freddy, who loves Max. We will love your pet like they were our own ♥️ My husband and I work from home full-time. Our dog has separation anxiety so one of us will be home when your pet is here! We have a 6 and 4 ft privacy fence, large grassy backyard. Max gets on the leather couch but not our fabric couch or bed. He doesn't ever try. We wake up early to feed Max at 7 so early mornings is a non issue in our house! We typically go on 2 short walks a day (15-20 min). We're a chill household.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of our lives, I grew up helping my family run a boarding kennel from our home. That experience taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and making every dog feel safe and loved while they're away from home. Caring for dogs is truly a team effort in our household. About: I grew up on a farm so taking care of animals is what I have done my whole life. I am good with all age ranges from the younger ones full of energy to the seniors that enjoy their own space. I currently watch my friend’s dogs and check in on their cats. I travel for work but when I’m home can work from anywhere! I travel for work but when I’m home can work from wherever. About: I currently work at an animal shelter. I have been certified in pet CPR, First Aid and Behavior, and trained to administer medication via shots or orally, as well as care for elderly pets. I work full time with a semi-flexible schedule. The best times for me are before 8am and after 5pm but I can still do mid-day visits. I only care for pets in the owners’ homes. I am able to do drop-in visits and dog walking (sometimes not in the freezing weather).

About: I've had and cared for pets my entire life. I've cared for dogs, cats, chickens, fish, ducks, snakes, a crab, hamsters, and rabbits, no partridge in a pear tree yet! I’m a graphic designer so I work from home. This mean I have very flexible availability to work from my clients home and give their pets a lot of extra love and care throughout the day. I also occasionally work on a farm but wouldn’t be away from my client’s pets for more than 4 hours. I am very thorough with my assessment and questions I ask when house/pet sitting at houses to make sure anything needed is available, or that I may be ready for any issue that may come up. I also LOVE to leave the house I'm sitting at better than I found it. My mother taught me at a young age how incredibly nice it is to return to a very clean house after a trip. It's a lovely gift I truly enjoy to give when I'm finished housesitting.

About: Hi! My name is Kelsey and I am in my sixth year of teaching... so I love working with kids, but I love working with dogs just as much. I’ve had lots of experience dog sitting for family friends’ dogs. I have also dog/housesit for families in Lincoln as well as walked dogs when families are busy. I currently do have a dog, but I enjoy getting to work with other pets as well. My availability is very flexible as well as pay. “Kelsey was very easy to communicate with as we had a few date changes and she happily accommodated. My dogs felt at home from the beginning in her house. I’m fairly positive they got more cuddles there than they do at home. She was always updating me on the pups with pictures and just how much she adored them. I’ve only lived in Elkhorn since late October. I could let the two dogs outside upstairs but the almost 3 year old lab refused to go up the stairs outside. So I had to walk downstairs to the walk-out basement to get her in. Well, Kelsey got her to go up her outside balcony, while it may have been backwards for a few times. She has now solved my dilemma and I no longer have to go downstairs to let her in! I would rank her 10 out of 10 if it was an option. She even sent the dogs home with goodie bags!! “Vance is the absolute best person we’ve ever had take care of our dogs! He is super friendly, reliable, and easy to work with. He reached out to me every day, sent me pics and videos of our dogs, and responded immediately every time I checked in with him. He has a beautiful house with a very high fence, which was important for us since one of our dogs is a high jumper. He even gave our dogs a bath before they came home! After meeting Vance, we never once worried about our babies. They were so well taken care of, and we loved that someone was with them 24/7.
