“Our dogs had such a great time with Katrin! She has plenty of outdoor space for them to explore and truly treated them as if they were her own. She even mixed their meals with rice bc they had upset stomachs! She gave us plenty of updates and pictures, and our dogs always looked so happy in the photos. We will definitely book with her again!!”

“Halle and Thomas were great with my border collie mix! I got daily photos of him on walks and at the dog park. Jasper seemed very comfortable with them. I would definitely use their services again!”

“I can’t recommend David enough! I have a very high-energy, very high-strung rescue dog who is my whole world, and David takes SUCH amazing care of her when I have to leave town. He also sends lots of updates and photos of her, so I always rest easy knowing that she’s doing great! He has a beautiful set-up that provides the perfect setting for dogs to run around and play, but also prioritizes safety and makes sure everyone is getting breaks from the heat, lots of water, etc. A million stars 🌟”

“My dogs had such a great time and were very well cared for. They were so tired when they came home! She sent regular updates and some great pictures and videos. A fantastic stay!”

“Absolutely Perfect! Mia is a sweet old lady, but barely llkes any other dogs and that was not the case at Bryan's. He has a way with our animals! I hope you have the opportunity to have a similar experience. Thanks Bryan & the Pirate Crew.”

“Kate & her family have now several times hosted our pup Willow and we are so thankful for their hospitality and care! Kate’s school-age daughters are so responsible and proactive in their involvement (helped provide a once-daily medication to our pup) and also have fun teaching tricks! We are so lucky to have found Kate in the area.”

“Remi is an anxious dog but seemed to enjoy/was comfortable during her time at Julia’s! Julia sent a ton of pics each day so I was never worried about how she was doing. We’ll definitely be using her again! :)”

“Alice took great care of my dog, including all of his unique needs and behaviors. Alice was also impressively easy to work with — she made it extremely easy to drop him off and pick him up.”

“I can't recommend Lena highly enough. She took outstanding care of my boy. He was a little anxious when I left him, but Lena's patience and understanding made him feel comfortable enough to play and enjoy himself by day two. Even better, she spotlights the doggies on the cutest Instagram page, as well as though pictures throughout their stay. I will definitely use her services again.”

“Lorraine was fantastic with Lima!! She took the time to learn about Lima's routines and behavior so she could care for her just like I do. Communication was excellent. She kept me updated and sent pictures, which gave me great peace of mind. I could tell Lima was happy and comfortable with her. I highly recommend Lorraine and would definitely book with her again!”

“Very happy with Chelsey and David and their care for our pup, Mallory! We have used their services for daycare dropoff and a longer, multiple night trip. They are flexible with dropoff and pickup times, and are enthusiastic about having Mal around. Their dog, Athena, is a fun play pal for Mal and Chelsey and David are conscientious about monitoring playtime and giving the dogs a break when needed. They send pics and videos of Mal's time there which is a plus given being away from your doggo can be a bit stressful (for you and them)! I feel that Mal is happy and safe while in their care and that makes my dog mom heart super thankful :)”

About: The Anderson home has always been defined by the four-legged family members roaming through it. After recently losing our beloved two-year-old Goldendoodle, our house feels a little too quiet. While we aren’t quite ready to bring a new dog home permanently, our family, including two dog-loving children (ages 8 and 10), greatly misses the energy that dogs bring to a house. We offer a "member of the family" environment for your pet. Since we don't currently have our own pets, your dog will be the center of attention during their stay. Why choose us? Decades of Experience: We raised a Rhodesian Ridgeback for 14 wonderful years. Home Type: Single Family Home with a fenced-in backyard. Yard Features: Your dog will enjoy a secure, landscaped environment perfect for exploring, lounging or chasing squirrels. Senior Care: Having cared for a Ridgeback into his 14th year, we are very comfortable with senior dog needs, including mobility assistance and medication administration. Puppy Energy: Having recently raised a Goldendoodle, we are well-versed in the "zoomies," redirection, and consistent reinforcement that comes with raising puppies. Dog-loving family: Our family will provide endless affection during the busy morning routine, playtime the moment the school day is finished and all weekend. Work-from-Home Presence: Someone is almost always home, ensuring constant supervision and plenty of bathroom breaks in our spacious, well-maintained yard. Dog Loving Family: Loving environment: We treat every guest as a temporary member of our family. Because our home is currently without a dog of its own, we can assure you that your dog will get a lot of attention. Our backyard is secure and has plenty of space for your dog to run and roam. If they sleep in a crate, we can setup your existing crate in our home. We also have access to a medium-sized crate/bed (if requested).
“Amber was absolutely amazing with our little guy Maximus! She even accommodated me with a later drop off the night before I had to fly out. It was such a relief that she was so cordial and inviting. Maximus loved her beautiful dog Xena. That had the best time and she sent lots of pics and videos daily so I knew he was living his Best Life! I will definitely book her in the future. Top notch pet care and communication!”

“Hayley is the epitome of a great dog sitter. I have 2 difficult pups and from the moment she walked up she went above and beyond to gain their trust. She is very communicative. Sending lots of pics and updating me on when she got there, what the pups did and when she was headed out. Definitely will be using her for drop ins and overnight stays!”

“Super caring and compassionate! My cat is super clingy and I was really worried about leaving her alone but Joy took great care of her and was really observant too(I accidentally left a desiccant packet in the automatic feeder and she noticed it). I will definitely ask her to petsit next time too.”

About: **Update** I have transitioned since opening this account and unfortunately at this time Rover does not allow me to update my name or other information. I go by Eli now. This in no way impacts the care I will give your animals but I want to respect peoples right to make informed decisions about who they allow in their homes. I will not tolerate hateful comments or behavior directed towards me however. I have been around animals my whole life big and small. I attended the Tarpon High School's Veterinary Assisting program and graduated as a certified veterinary assistant. Since then I have worked with horses, dogs, cats, pigs, birds and a few rodents. I do lots of training with my own high drive dogs and would love to bring some fun trick training, puzzles and general enrichment to your dogs life! I am currently working a full time day job so my availability is restricted to evenings and weekends at this time. I would love to give your dogs some extra attention during your busy weekends or weeknights. I am a safety freak! I double check all collars and harnesses for proper fit before leaving the house. For fenced in backyards I always double check that gates are latched before lettings dogs out. I will make sure any toys are size and age appropriate and do not pose any danger to your dog. My dogs are my family and I will treat yours with the same love and care.

“Tooba was very communicative, kinda, and understanding of a mix-up. But, most importantly, she was able to coax our skeptical furbag out from under the bed to say hello. I felt very well-cared for!”

“Brittney has been a wonderful pet sitter! She completed all the tasks I asked of her and truly went above and beyond. When one of my cats made a mess with the feeder, she didn't mind cleaning it up at all and was incredibly accommodating to my changing needs while I was away. I highly recommend her!”

“Ashleys pet sitting, and drop in visits consistently exceed our expectations. She is the ONLY person we trust with our furbabies and our home while we are away. She is reliable, honest, hard working and passionate about what she does. So thankful for her, and her services! We recommend her to everyone with furbabies.”

“We are so happy that we found Marissa to check in on our sweet cat Spooky while we were away. I’m usually very nervous, and we were going to be very far away for over a week, but after meeting Marissa, we were both very comfortable and confident that Spooky would be in good hands. We looked forward to the photos Marissa sent us each day of Spooky playing, and we returned to a happy and healthy kitty. Thank you for your efficient communication and for taking wonderful care of our baby!”

“Violet was a super prompt communicator and had no issues taking over on caring for our cat, Miso. She even traversed rough storm weather to check on her when we were out of the country. Would def book again!”

About: Cats have also been a big part of my life. I grew up around them through family and friends, and I regularly look after my friends' cats when they travel. I know every cat has their own personality, and I'm happy to follow their lead, whether they want company or just a quiet presence nearby. I also volunteer as a temporary foster with Hope Animal Rescue, which means I'm comfortable meeting animals exactly where they are, whether that's a nervous newcomer or a playful goofball who wants all the attention. I take every visit seriously, because I know a kind, familiar face can make a pet's whole day.
“Anita is always fantastic. She’s prompt, a great communicator, and sends great photos from every visit. We were away for a week this time, and everything was perfect when we returned and the cats were content. I highly recommend Anita!”

About: I’m a licensed attorney and an animal lover at heart. I grew up surrounded by animals, in a home with a dog and four cats. I frequently care for my neighbor and friends’ pets when they are out of town, and have two cats of my own. I also have 3 years of volunteer experience at a no-kill animal shelter, and am comfortable giving medications and handling any special health or behavioral needs. I have experience caring for dogs that require frequent potty breaks due to age or medical condition; as well as those with Arthritis, recovering injuries, or other mobility concerns. Similarly, I have cared for cats of all ages and temperaments, including those with medical vulnerabilities (seizures, kidney disease, cancer, incontinence issues). I have also worked with former ferals, and am happy to care for those who may be especially shy or anxious around unfamiliar faces and disrupted routines. I understand how important it is to have someone you can trust look after your pet. I value reliability and communication, and strive to provide the upmost care. I can’t wait to meet your fur babies! I work fully remote, so I have plenty of flexibility when caring for your pets. I update my calendar frequently, and am happy to work with your schedule. During housesits, I will make your home my base camp so pets will not be left alone for extended periods. I will be sure to communicate with you to ensure your expectations for drop in visits or house sitting are fully met. I’m here for any special care requests. I’ll check in after each drop-in session with plenty of photos of your pet and a rundown on the visit. I typically provide two updates mid-morning and evening each day while house sitting. I always include detailed information about your pet’s activity and behavior, along with lots of photos and videos documenting the day. However, I am happy to provide updates at your preferred frequency. I am always available and responsive during visits should you have any questions or requests.
About: Hey hey dog pawmily! I’m Hadassah! I’ve honestly been caring for animals since I was a child and have experience with a wide variety of pets, including multiple dogs, four cats, a bunny, fish, and three parakeets. Caring for so many different animals has taught me patience, responsibility, and truly how to meet each pet’s unique needs. I have and solely take care of my one dog, Diogee, who is a 3 year old Maltese-Shitzu mix and would enjoy to meet new friends. Having my dog, Diogee, by my side throughout my transition as a transfer, rising senior at UNC chapel hill has shown me just how important pets are to our lives. Hopefully your dog will either have the opportunity to meet/walk/play with me (yay!) or stay in my safe HOA home located in a quiet, dog-friendly neighborhood with great walking areas and a new dog park currently being built nearby. I, Hadassah, can assure you that when your dog is cared for by me, they’ll be treated with the same care and patience that I give my own. 🐾❤️ Pet care fits naturally into my routine since I care for my own dog, Diogee, every day. 🐶 I'm available for dog walks, drop-in visits, and boarding depending on availability. In my home, pets will receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, fresh cool water, meals according to their schedule, and a safe, pet-friendly environment. In a client’s home, I follow all care instructions to help pets stay comfortable in their familiar surroundings and maintain their normal routine.
“In addition to boarding our dog with Jade several times, she has also walked Rex several times. He is beyond excited when she arrives and loves the long walks. I highly recommend Jade for quality of care, reliability, and communication.”

About: Hello, I have experience caring for dogs through dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight pet sitting. I have also pet sat for a friend for about a month on and off, where I helped with feeding, walks, playtime, and making sure the dogs were comfortable and safe while their owner was away. I also have pets of my own, so I understand the importance of making sure animals are well cared for, loved, and safe. I’m very responsible, active, and attentive to pets’ needs. As a college softball player, I’m used to having a structured schedule and staying committed, so I always make sure pets get the care, attention, and exercise they need. Also For the First three 2-3 Clients who book me I’m willing to give $20 off first booking!! ;) https://www.rover.com/sit/sierrs94440 Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. As a college softball player, I am very accustomed to maintaining a structured schedule, staying organized, and managing my time effectively. This allows me to provide reliable and consistent care for pets while balancing my other responsibilities. I intentionally schedule my availability so I can give each pet the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. Whether it’s drop-in visits, dog walks, feeding, playtime, or overnight pet sitting, I make sure every pet receives personalized care based on their needs and routine. As both a pet owner and an active Rover sitter, caring for animals is something I genuinely enjoy. Spending time with pets is one of the best parts of my day, and I always strive to make them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I also love keeping owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind knowing their fur babies are happy and in good hands. I currently provide care in my clients’ homes through drop-in visits, dog walking, and overnight pet sitting. Because I have two cats of my own at home, I do not offer boarding, but I am committed to providing excellent care in the environment where your pet feels most comfortable. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to maintain their normal routine. This includes feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, litter box cleaning, medication administration if needed, and plenty of love and attention. I understand that pets thrive on consistency, so I follow any instructions provided to ensure they feel safe, comfortable, and stress-free while you’re away. I treat every home with respect and every pet as if they were my own. Whether your pet is energetic and loves long walks or prefers quiet companionship, I adjust my care to meet their individual needs. About: In addition to owning 2 dogs (who now live with my parents), I have dog sat for years. Walking, feeding, and bathing are a part of my normal practices. I love to hike with dogs if you're interested! I'm working from home for the summer, so I'm available to take care of your pet any time you need! I also have a car, so I will be able to drive to you or anywhere you need. I have a large backyard and live right down the road from Morreene Road Park. I also have a screened-in porch that I can sit in with your pet while I work.
About: As someone who is hardworking and detail-oriented, I feel that I am up to the task of caring for all kinds of pets. From a young age I've worked with dogs, cats, small rodents, and even horses! Some even call me the "animal whisperer." Grooming, walking, playing, feeding, providing fresh water regularly, giving medication orally or with food, overnight stays, and cleaning up after animals are some of the tasks I've performed throughout my time caring for these beloved fur friends. I'm free every day of the week, preferably any time after 10 AM but also willing to negotiate times of care that fits both you and your pet's needs! I make sure to respect other's property and belongings when housesitting or petsitting for pet parents. Keeping spaces clean, tidy, and how I found it is something I find to be important when given the trust of others to be in their spaces. I'm always willing to learn and adapt to your pet's needs, environment, and behaviors.
“Alysha fulfilled my same-day request and their communication put my mind totally at ease. I appreciate her punctuality and promptness, and am grateful she could visit my boy at home when I couldn’t. Thanks, Alysha! 🐾”

I am currently in college at western Carolina university but will be coming home for holidays and over summer. I will keep my schedule updated. When I take care of animals at their houses I play with them and let them out on a regular basis, I can handle multiple animals at a time.

About: Hi All, My name is Alessandria but I prefer to be called Alekx and no the K is not a typo. My hair color is subject to change but it's just dyed hair braided into my natural hair. I have been caring for animals professionally since 2006, until 2013 where I took a leap in a different field of work. I use to move all over the country but I am home and hoping to start pet sitting as my main job. I have a guinea pig by the named Tikka Teacake and she is a little siren but she is my 3rd guinea pig. I am a non-smoker and prefer days curled up with fluffy creatures and a good book. In regards to my experience I have worked at pets resorts such as Sunny Acres where I had a few loyal dogs that I dearly miss. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.
About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.
About: I've lived with big and small dogs almost my entire life; I've house sat and provided day time drop ins for friends, family, and neighbors. Walking, administering medication, social hour at the dog park, and punctual dinner times included. I'm available for care 24/7 this winter! I'm very active, currently on seasonal haitus as an arborist, so I can keep up with any kind of energy level. As a house sitter and dog walker, I center the pet's needs in a support system that also prioritizes punctuality and cleanliness. Keeping pets well cared for while respecting your home and schedule is my methodology.

“Oskar had a great time with David and being with other big dogs and running and playing in the pond. He seemed to really be in his element and what a great opportunity for him to be more active. We got some great action photos of him.”

“Marilyn was amazing to work with. She was very thorough and prepared at our initial visit, making sure she had all the right info (including the stuff I hadn't thought of) to take care of our dog. She provided multiple updates each day with plenty of photos. Our dog loved her big yard and all the other friends he got to meet during his stay. It's obvious that she and her family love dogs and treat them like family during their visit. We would gladly book again with her!”

“We were very comfortable leaving Franklin with Debbie-Claire even though he is leash reactive to other dogs and can be finicky with eating. Debbie-Claire covered all of the bases with us in our meet and greet and was very prepared and thorough. She sent frequent updates with both photos and videos, and it seemed like Franklin really enjoyed his stay! We would not hesitate to book with Debbie-Claire again in the future!”

“Thank you for taking care of our sweet Finn! We appreciate your willingness to work with a puppy who is still being trained, and giving him all the love and snuggles!”
