“Miklo had a wonderful stay with Marilyn! I’m pretty sure he had more fun than I did on my trip. Marilyn sent lots of photos and updates of him happily playing with his new dog friends and making himself right at home, which made me feel so relaxed knowing he was in great hands. She followed his feeding routine perfectly, including feeding him three times a day because of his sensitive stomach. I really appreciated that attention to detail and consistency. The biggest surprise was that he didn’t need his anxiety meds at all during his stay, which has never happened when he’s been at a traditional kennel. That alone says so much about how comfortable and well cared for he was. When I picked him up, he was happy, calm, and transitioned right back home easily. In the past after kennel stays he’s been much more stressed, so this was a huge difference. It’s clear Marilyn treats the dogs like part of the family, and I’m so grateful Miklo got to spend time with her. I will absolutely be booking with Marilyn again! Thank you.:):)”

About: Have had at least 1 pet for over 25 years. Wife and I are recent empty nesters that went from having 4 cats and 2 dogs to a Lab and 1 cat when the last of our 4 kids moved out. I have owned large dog breeds my whole life and grew up with pure breed Rottweilers, German Shepherd mixes, and my current lovely mutt. I have been doing home pet sitting for over a decade. I usually spend most the day when I am at home entertaining my pets or letting them have free run of the backyard with regular check ins. I make sure that their food is good for their stomach, their daily exercise if playing outside with a normal dose of petting and grooming. I recently got off of medical leave so I have started short nightly walks and we work out together to stay happy and healthy. I am a big night owl so I love watching my dogs snore about. A safe home is one your pet recognizes as the pack den. I care for all pets with repetitive training, health care checks, grooming, and dental care as long as they will let me. I love to make a home pet safe by avoiding choking hazards and loose cables. (Mainly because my guinea pig is a little menace). Medications are taken with timers and usually snuck into foods. I like keeping basic training habits are maintained so that the pets do not unlearn anything their humans have taught them.

About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I’m currently away for school and can explain how much I miss my dog. I’m hoping to pour love into other pets while I can’t with my own ♥️ I am a part time cosmetology student at Aveda Chapel hill. My hours are 9 am to 8 pm Tuesday, Thursday, Friday. Every other day I will be more than happy to spend time with your pets. I live with my 24 yo sister and her husband. They have a dog named Tony who is super sweet. Before being able to watch pets in my home I would have to introduce them to Tony to make sure both parties are safe. if I am watching your pet at your house feel free to ask me to wash dishes, straighten up or do a load of laundry! Same goes for housesitting!!
About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life! My family had a wonderful mutt that arrived the same year that I was born, so he was essentially my puppy sibling. He has long passed away but I also have many years of experience dog sitting for my family and friends and can provide references. My current place won't let me have pets, so it will be awesome to get my fix by taking care of your wonderful dogs! I can't wait to meet them. I have a full time Monday-Friday job, but I am available on weekends, and after 5:30 during the week. I can be flexible, and try to accommodate your ad your pet's needs! Safety is my first priority. I will never have company or even food delivery inside of your home, and will never provide your address to anyone else, unless it is an emergency, in which case I will contact you directly first and get your permission to call my emergency contact (my mother)! I will make sure I feed and walk your dogs(s) consistently, and of course play with them and give them attention while you are away. I do not mind doing light housework, and I am comfortable with sitting for more than one dog.

About: I've always enjoyed taking care of animals all of my life. While not being able to own too many myself, I have always opted to taking care of other's pets, whether it be dogs, cats, or something else. I am always happy to see/find new experiences, and am up to the challenge for anything new! I'm taking online classes currently, so my schedule is open after 8AM! If needed slightly earlier, I will try my best to compensate for such a need, as my schedule is very flexible. I live in a townhouse, so I do not have a fenced yard or any of the sort, however, I can provide a quality experience with your pets in attention and exercise!

“Miklo had a wonderful stay with Marilyn! I’m pretty sure he had more fun than I did on my trip. Marilyn sent lots of photos and updates of him happily playing with his new dog friends and making himself right at home, which made me feel so relaxed knowing he was in great hands. She followed his feeding routine perfectly, including feeding him three times a day because of his sensitive stomach. I really appreciated that attention to detail and consistency. The biggest surprise was that he didn’t need his anxiety meds at all during his stay, which has never happened when he’s been at a traditional kennel. That alone says so much about how comfortable and well cared for he was. When I picked him up, he was happy, calm, and transitioned right back home easily. In the past after kennel stays he’s been much more stressed, so this was a huge difference. It’s clear Marilyn treats the dogs like part of the family, and I’m so grateful Miklo got to spend time with her. I will absolutely be booking with Marilyn again! Thank you.:):)”
