About: About ten years ago, a friend of mine asked, "Jenny, do you think it's a coincidence that you love every cat you meet or are you going to admit you're a cat lady?" I didn't grow up with cats, so as an adult, when I was confronted with another cat in my friend group or dating partner, I found myself endlessly delighted by each of their quirks. Each cat I have come across seems to be unique, quirky, and alternately fastidious and charming. The one piece of advice a previous partner said that I've never forgotten is "Ru will tell you how she likes to be pet". And that piece of advice has proven its weight every time it's tested. I have a 9yo domestic short hair tabby of 9lbs and she's a precious sweetheart. Recently she's become an outdoor porch cat, which has delighted me as much as it has given me anxious pause every time she wanders where I can't see her. I have previous experience in house sitting a friend's 2 cats while they went on vacations. And spend the rest of the time spoiling my two fur babies at home. My two fur babies are trained to listen off leash, but love to go for walks on leash. One is a couch potatoes that can be trusted and one a wild puppy that is crate trained. I am an NC State graduate with a B.S. in Animal Science with a lot of knowledge to bring including the best ways to care for your animal, ensure their safety, and even train new commands. Not only can I care for dogs and cats, but I can also care for rodents, birds, reptiles, etc. During the summer I will be mostly available during the week. I am currently a full time master’s student and will be able to fit pet care into my schedule both during the week and on the weekends. I do work most afternoons beginning at 2:30 pm but times are adjustable. I do not have a fenced in yard, but I am an active person in a very safe neighborhood in Raleigh making neighborhood walks super easy. I have a 9month old puppy who loves making new friends, providing great companionship for your pet. For added safety and structure, I can crate my dog if needed to ensure a smooth and stress free experience. Whether at my home or yours, I prioritize tailored care to meet your pet’s unique needs, including feeding, exercise, and lots of love and attention.
About: I’ve been taking care of my bestfriend Wilbur who’s a pit-lab for 5 years now as well as my other furry friends I’ve had in the past. My girlfriend also does rover so I help with dogs from time to time. I have plenty of time for any dogs in need of my care. I’m available 24/7 on the weekends and weekdays. If it shows I’m unavailable on my calendar get in contact with me and I’ll double check my schedule for possible availability. I make sure I am efficient, careful, and loving when tending to any pups needs. The safety and wellbeing of any dog in my care is top priority!
About: I grew up with cats and dogs of all kinds and ages. Senior and puppy/kitten pet care are part of my experience. From long walks, to fun games, to specialty foods and injury recovery, I’ve seen and done it all. Your pets will be well loved and cared for by me. Currently, I have a wide open schedule as I prepare for my next job in the next few months. I can do multiple walks a day or stay overnight with pets. I currently care for five dogs and have extensive hands-on experience managing multiple dogs at once, including the care of three litters and several additional dogs in the past. I am available seven days a week with flexible hours. About: I’ve raised and taken care of dogs all my life. I own two dogs of my own. Both are very friendly to other dogs and people. I take my dogs out every 3-4 hours, usually whenever I come home between classes. I also walk my dogs when needed, as well as, feed them once a day. I always make sure the dog is loved and happy. I take time to play with them and give them pets. I also make sure they have food, water, and anything else they may need. I have given dogs medication before, so that will not be too difficult for me.
About: I have cared for my own personal pets as well as friend’s and family’s pets. I have enjoyed every minute of it. I walk, groom, feed, and bathe when needed. I am a graduate student at NCCU in Durham so I don’t have time for a full time position but Rover allows me to have the flexibility to do pet sitting when possible. Weekends are my most available time and I will also have time in between my clinicals and my classes that I can do walks or drop in visits! I have always been an animal lover, I have grown up in a household that has always had multiple pets at a time. My pets get my full attention and affection at al times when I am home! They bring me so much joy and I would love some more fur babies to love on with all of the responsibility of caring for the 24/7!

About: I am a reliable, loving dog and cat owner dedicated to providing a relaxed, safe environment for my animals. I have two 4-yr old Doberman mixes I adopted from Saipan, a sister and brother: Ruby and Charlie. I also have a 2-yr old rescue cat, Ollie. My dear Bichon, Hubie, passed last year, but I took care of him for 6 of his golden years! Therefore, I’m capable of taking care of dogs from under 1 yr to senior age. I’m also comfortable feeding them and providing medication if needed. Finally, I have the closest emergency vets mapped on my phone if the unfortunate need should arise. I have a job that requires I work on-site two days a week, Tuesdays and Thursdays. However, I am free MWF, Saturdays, and Sundays from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. Provided I am given a week’s notice, I can offer overnight boarding from Friday to Monday evening. I understand most dogs don’t do well with being alone during the day. And it is stressful trying to find someone kind and responsible to be there for your pup. When I became a brand new pet owner in 2019, I remember how nervous I was looking for a trusted sitter to care for my Bichon, Hubie, while I was at work. I thankfully found a great one and I’d like to provide that same assurance to others. I can provide companionship with love and belly rubs, play via a fenced-in backyard, and fellow doggy playmates. Of course, I’d need to ensure your critter gets along with my brood before taking them on. :) I walk my dogs at least twice a day so they get plenty of exercise. If you have a small senior dog who needs fresh air, I’m fine to carry them in a backpack or push them in a stroller. :) And if they’re comfortable in the car, I can walk them at the park!
