“Our dog, Shelby just had her 1st stay with Myra and had a good time. I felt better knowing that she was getting some individual attention unlike at much larger kennels that she has stayed at in the past. She got to go on several long walks, which she loves. She also was able to interact with other dogs under Myra's careful observation, which was great for her social skills and keeping her mind off of us being gone. I really liked getting updates and pictures. Also, Myra was flexible with drop off and pick up times. About: I have had, rescued, and taken care of a wide variety of dogs from smaller malti-poos to a Dane who had been living on the street, was skin and bones, and ended up 188 lbs. Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. I am home most days, except when I am hosting 3-hour board games at the local library and rec center. Otherwise, I take care of our house and rental properties. I have a large fenced yard -- especially-so since my house sits along North Center Street. I also use carabiners to make sure that gates are locked.

About: I have nearly 10 years of experience with dogs. For the last 4 years I have been running my own business where I breed health tested and titled AKC Labrador Retrievers. All of my dogs live in my home. They are our “kids” and our entire world revolves around them. Prior to this I managed 2 different boarding/daycare/training facilities, one in Wilmington NC and one in Catawba NC. About: I have been around animals for the entirety of my life and have been raised to believe that they are family. I believe that animals come before myself. I currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. i work 5 days a week less than 40 hours and i’m taking care of animals when im on and off the clock so it seems fitting to become a sitter and walker:) I live in a home with an unfenced 2 acre yard. we have a runner in case the dog isn’t leash or off leash trained.

About: I have been working with dogs for 15 years. I started my professional career as a Vet-Tech, then started helping out clients reactive dogs, and now operate a small dog training business. I work remotely so that I can keep a close eye on your dogs. I built 2 luxury dog runs in my garage to provide a calm/safe place for your dogs to relax. As long as everyone gets along they are more than welcome to snuggle with us on the couch. Daily walks, a fenced in yard, and years of dog training experience means your dog is well cared for while you are away. They also leave my home with some new skills or commands.
