Right now I have two dogs of my own, River and Bruiser (an 85lb beauceron and a 35lb true mutt, both rescues, who have traveled cross country with me. They hike, camp and swim but mostly love cuddles. I’m experienced giving medications when needed — oral meds, ear drops, you name it — and I’ve helped several dogs recover post-surgery. I’ve worked with dogs of all ages, behaviors and sizes. I’m active and outgoing, so I love taking dogs for long walks. I work from home, so as long as there’s Wi-Fi, I’m happy to house-sit and hang out with your dogs or cats while I work. I’m also available for quick drop-in visits — walks, feeding, water, play, fetch, whatever’s needed. Flexible scheduling works fine for me. I work from home full time so I’m here with them all day. We typically go for three walks a day in addition to play time in the yard and most importantly lots of belly rubs and cuddles. I have a fenced yard where we play fetch, take the sun and play in the sprinklers. Dogs have free reign and are allowed on couches and beds.

We can also accommodate requests for no other animals be present, however I am great at acclimating animals with each other. Even ones that do not tend to play nice with others. Always up to you in the end. I have muzzels and a Kennel at both homes (if needed) , cat litter boxes at both locations as well. Leases safety collars , and for a small added fee , daily health tracking during the stay with a special collar monitor tracking device that I have. All pets are treated like family with love care and respect. Will work with all breeds ages and sizes.

About: I was adopted by my first cat in 2000 and have dog-and cat-sat for friends and co-workers ever since. Having moved to a farm 3 years ago, I’ve also cared for our neighbor’s horses, chickens, and guinea fowl. In general, I respect all pets' boundaries and love to find their individual personalities. My wife and I have rescued and fostered cats for the last 10 years, so I’m familiar with a variety of health issues and quirky behaviors. And I scoop litters! At the moment I work remotely from home, so I can flex my schedule around any specific times you may need. Driving long distance is not a deal-breaker for me. Most of our cats are indoors but have access to a fenced-in portion of the back yard. We feed them wet food twice a day (morning and night) and snack them with dry food throughout the day. Each one gets playtime throughout the day, and the only "rules" are no cats on the kitchen counters. People have told us that when they die, they hope to come back as a cat we take care of. Given the number of cats we have, I'm unable to board any pets.

About: I've taken care of raising my kids in a pet-friendly environment for many years that stems from a childhood of taking every stray pet I could get past my mom. About: I have had dogs pretty much my whole life. One of those dogs is turning 15 this year. I exercise often, and am generally very active, so I love going out on walks with my dogs.
