About: Hi! I’m Kat — and I offer personalized walks and enrichment as a trusted extension of your dog’s care team. I know how hard it is to leave your dog. They’re family. Clear communication and consistency matter, and I take that seriously. Every visit is an opportunity to build trust — with both you and your pup. You’ll receive thoughtful updates that include notes on energy, potty, behavior, and anything I’m noticing (because yes, I absolutely pay attention to the details). I truly treat each dog as the individual they are. Some are bold explorers. Some are thoughtful observers. Some love a purposeful walk, while others prefer a slower pace with time to sniff and take it all in. I adjust each visit based on age, health, temperament, and your household routines — meeting your dog where they are and supporting what helps them thrive. I’m especially attentive to patterns — what helps a dog feel calm, confident, and engaged. Safety and steady leadership are always my priorities. I’m mindful at doors, leashes, transitions, and the environment around us so your dog’s experience is secure, structured, and positive.
About: I’ve owned up to 4 dogs at a time. Having that many dogs in my house together, I’ve learned how to meet their needs and keep them happy. I’d put two at a time on one leash which made walking them easier. I’ve always been the “go to” person when my family or friends needed a pet sitter. My passion has always been children and animals. I was a teacher’s aide for the past 27 years. Now that I’m retired I’d like to switch gears and spend time taking care of dogs. My home is dog friendly. I have a fenced in yard on a quiet cul-de-sac. I also have two sweet dogs of my own that are friendly and playful.
About: My background spans everything from energetic puppies to sweet seniors. I do not just monitor pets, I actively engage them. I focus on positive reinforcement, structure, and maintaining your exact home routine. Owners trust me because I treat their pets like my own. You will receive consistent updates, clear communication, and total peace of mind while you are away. Because I work from home, your pet receives my full attention. My flexible routine ensures consistent neighborhood walks, frequent potty breaks, and dedicated companionship all day long. Whether you need overnight boarding, interactive playdates, daily walking, or quick potty breaks, I easily accommodate your schedule. I offer a safe home environment with one friendly dog for constant companionship. Our routine includes daily leashed neighborhood walks and optional off-leash socialization trips to Martin Dog Park. I also provide secure crating at night for a safe, restful sleep.
About: With over 10 years of hands-on experience caring for pets, I have worked with a wide variety of dog and cat breeds, personalities, ages, and needs. From energetic puppies and playful kittens to senior pets requiring extra attention, I understand that every animal is unique and deserves personalized care. My experience includes feeding, walking, administering basic medications, providing companionship, maintaining routines, and ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am comfortable caring for multiple pets at once and have experience with pets of different sizes, temperaments, and activity levels. As a dedicated pet lover, I treat every pet as if they were my own, providing reliable, compassionate care and giving owners peace of mind knowing their furry family members are in trusted hands. As a stay-at-home mom of three children, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to provide dependable and attentive pet care throughout the day. Being home most of the time means pets receive plenty of supervision, companionship, potty breaks, exercise, and affection rather than being left alone for long periods. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space for your pets to exercise and use the bathroom in a clean manicured area. I understand the importance of maintaining a pet’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication administration, and cuddle time. My daily routine is built around caring for others, and I extend that same level of patience, responsibility, and attention to every pet in my care. Whether you need daytime visits, overnight care, or regular check-ins while you’re away, I am committed to providing a safe, loving, and reliable environment where your pets feel comfortable and cared for like part of the family.

Adventure-ready dog walkers - Rockingham
About: I grew up on a farm and have had dogs all my life. I currently have a boykin spaniel named Colt. I dog sat through college and even worked in vet med. I work full time, but have a flexible schedule most days. I’m able to drop in before 8am, during my lunch, and after work. Weekends tend to be more open. I am able to take long or short walks, drop by just to take your dog out for a bathroom break, play, feed, administer medications.
About: My husband and I have been fostering dogs since February 2023. Sadly (or happily, rather), several of those fosters became foster fails. We went from having 1 dog and 2 cats to 4 dogs and 4 cats…but we wouldn’t have it any other way :) Our 4 cats are all extremely friendly and loving. Charlie is 6, Harley is 3, and Sweet Potato and Clementine just turned 1. Every single one of our dogs is a rescue. Molly is 9 months, Banjo is 7 months, Mia is 10-12 years, and Georgie is 8-10 years. Molly & Banjo were rescued with Paws of the Pines Rescue based in Southern Pines, NC. Mia & Georgie are a sister duo that we found dumped in the woods, and are the best senior pups we’ve ever encountered. My husband and I care deeply for all animals and do this because we love it, not for the money. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re in need of care. We will do what we can to serve you! I (Megan) wake up at 4:30 daily to let the dogs out, walk them, and feed them breakfast. I leave for work at 6. Jacob then wakes up and cares for the dogs until he leaves for work at 7. The dogs are crated until we come home. After work they engage in another walk, training, puzzles, you name it, and are highly active until bedtime around 9. The cats have an automatic feeder and water fountain. They love lounging around in the living room if the dogs are calm. All 4 cats are friendly and curious. Harley hangs around outside most of the day and the orange brothers are in and out as they please. Charlie is mostly indoors with the occasional peek at the outside world. Pets that enter my home will remain in the main living area with the puppies. The cats in my home are free to roam through the whole house. Dogs will need to be crate trained and okay other pets. I will accommodate their meals according to the owners’ requests. We are an active family, so walks are common!

I work M-Th but I work from home so I am always around and available if needed, I can step away easily if it’s needed. I don’t have a fenced in yard, but we do live very rural so we don’t have to worry about dogs running into the road or running away… My dogs do pretty well with being off a leash and being watched but I know others aren’t comfortable with their dogs being out like that so a leash can be used as well.

I also have hands on experience caring for dogs, including a family chocolate lab that I regularly walked, took on beach trips, transported safely in my vehicle, and maintained consistent feeding and exercise routines for. I’m comfortable managing leash behavior, high energy dogs, and ensuring pets get both physical activity and attention. What sets me apart is my genuine compassion and attentiveness. I treat every pet like my own and take the time to understand their personality, needs, and comfort level. Treating any animal I encounter humanely is my calling. It is humans responsibility to care for them. I’m a substitute teacher, so I’m able to plan my days around the pets I’m caring for. About: I recently moved here but grew up on a large agriculture/cattle farm in Wa state. I’ve shown all animals growing up, and competed in rodeo throughout most my high school years. I have had many dogs and many cats throughout my life as well as rescued more animals than I can count. I have a masters in mental health counseling but worked alongside a veterinarian throughout college. I currently have 6 dogs and 4 cats of my own, which most of them were strays I found. I truly believe animals are our children and they deserve to be loved and cared for as such. I am detail oriented and can ensure your baby(s) will be well taken care of. I currently am not working, so I am home full time. I recently got engaged, and my fiancé is military so I have lots of free time to help with whatever it is you may need! I have personally never crated my animals, but if it is what you prefer I will do that. We do have a very large yard with no neighbors, but I don’t even let my own dogs run around unsupervised. I did build a small fenced area in the back that attaches to a dogggy door in the house just so they can go out in emergency situations. My animals are allowed on furniture and of course sleep in the bed to get all the cuddles. I’ve been lucky to never have issues with chewing or accidents but I know all animals are different. I can truly accommodate to anything to make sure your pet is well taken care of.

I'm available for pretty much anything need. My schedule is very flexible. Throughout the day, I pay close attention to their moods, making time for play, brushing, or just sitting quietly with them when they need comfort. Their well-being is a priority in everything I do, and caring for them brings structure, peace, and purpose to my day. When I care for other people’s animals, I treat them like they’re my own—with patience, gentleness, and full attention. I take time to learn their routines, personalities, and needs, so they feel safe and comfortable while their owner is away. Whether it’s feeding, cleaning, playing, or just sitting with a shy pet to help them feel calm, I make sure every moment is rooted in trust and love. I know how much animals mean to their families, and I do everything I can to give them peace of mind.
About: My name is Brooke and I am a full time MLT student at Sandhills. I have been dog sitting on the side as well as babysitting to get me the money I need through college. I love all animals and would love to help in any way needed. I have had multiple dogs and cats growing up so I am used to animals. I do overnight stays as well as just checking in daily on animals. My school hours at 9am -12pm Tuesday through Thursday so my schedule is very flexible. I do well with all sizes of dogs and all breeds. I also love cats and other animals that a family might have. I hope I can be of use! Thanks very much!

About: Hi! I’m your friendly neighborhood pet sitter—animal nerd, plant parent, and professional chaos manager 🌿🐾 From pocket-sized hamsters to majestic Great Danes, opinionated parrots to mysterious snakes, I love animals of every variety. Fur, feathers, or scales? I’m in. I approach pet care like a science and an art—learning routines, decoding body language, and adapting my care to match each pet’s unique personality (yes, even the dramatic ones). When I’m not hanging out with pets, I’m probably fussing over plants and making sure every living thing around me is thriving. Whether it’s following a color-coded care sheet, calming nervous pets, administering meds, or watering your beloved jungle, I’ve got it handled. You can head out knowing your pets (and plants!) are safe, spoiled, and genuinely cared for by someone who treats every home like a tiny ecosystem worth protecting. 🐈🌸🐶🐍🌱 Your furry, feathered, or scaly friends will be happy, safe, and well-loved while you're away! My wife and I recently made the move to Southern Pines from Florida and have been enjoying getting to know the community—especially its many pets! I believe good pet care starts with clear expectations, happy routines, and making sure every member of the household—furred, feathered, scaled, or leafy—feels safe and well looked after. I’m happy to offer pet sitting, house sitting, doggy daycare, and more. I have a large fenced backyard for safe playtime and live in a lovely, pet-friendly neighborhood, perfect for walks, adventures, or just soaking up some sun. Your furry, feathered, or scaly friends will be happy, safe, and well-loved while you’re away!
About: I have loved animals my entire life, always love meeting and caring for new animals and I take pride in making the animals around me feel loved, safe, and cared for while their owners are away I currently am working roughly 3 hours daily for 3 days a week and would love taking in animals on a day to day basis I live near a road that doesn’t typically have traffic (major side road in the country), but even still I always make sure to take dogs out on leashes to ensure their safety. I do have cats but they can be put away to ensure your animal doesn’t feel threatened or scared. I have a safe space with plenty of quiet for your animal to be crated if they are feeling stressed or just need some alone time
