“Michelle took great care of our pup! We have a 16-month old lab-mix with medium/high energy, and she kept her safe, active, and entertained. She was also flexible with our travel schedule which was massively helpful. Much more reasonable/affordable rates compared to other Rovers in the area. No idea how people justify $75 - $100+ nightly rates; seems outrageous, IMO. Anyways, not much more you can ask for or expect! Great experience all around. Will not hesitate to book with her again if/when the need arises.”

About: 40+ years’ experience caring for and loving dogs of all ages. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs and even those in their prime with plenty of energy. I am experienced with administering medicine if needed and caring for those with special needs. My husband and I have always had our own fur babies (toy and standard poodles), but do not have any currently. Can host only NON-SHEDDING BREEDS, due to family allergies. Must be house broken/trained (to potty outside), with the exception of puppies. I am retired, so I’m always here to give extra cuddles, potty breaks, play time and walks. I really love their company! Tell me their routine while at home with you and I will do my best to ensure it stays the same when in my care. We have a large fenced yard with shade in a small and quiet subdivision. Our home is two story so plenty of room for playing and naps. If they do not care stairs, I will ensure stay on the main floor. Our neighborhood is perfect for walks. I have crates if they are crate trained and you prefer that, but that is not necessary unless that is your preference. Being on the furniture or bed in our home is fine with me too. I give extra special attention if they are nervous for any reason such as thunderstorms, loud noises (such as fireworks on a holiday). I am very attentive and adapt to small things such as if they just don't like going out in the rain. I always send daily updates including photos, videos & text throughout their stay.
About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life and have always been an animal lover ever since I was a child! A fun little backstory about me...most teenagers get jobs to have money to go to the mall or whatever it is that they want to do, well my goal was to save up all the money I made and get my own puppy. That was one of the best things I ever did, I had her for 16 years. Other than having dogs all my life, I also have kennel technician and veterinary assistant experience. Before I moved back to North Carolina, I was working the front desk at a non profit animal hospital. I feel that I am a very genuine and good hearted person. I am willing to walk/jog/run/play fetch, honestly, I will do pretty much anything to make them happy while you’re away and would love to build a relationship with your fur baby!! I’m a stay at home mom, so my schedule is pretty open every day!♥️. It’s just my 4 year old and I until about 4pm Monday-Friday, so as long as your fur baby is good with kids anytime from early morning until then works! After 4 I have open availability without him (incase your baby isn’t good with kids). My weekends are generally 100% open so I’d love to help in any way that I can! About: Your animals will love coming back to me, I’ve grown up with dogs multiple from every breed cocker spaniel, dachshund, labs you name it I’ve had one and although we aren’t in a spot to have one of our own we love the idea of having there company around because they are a mans best friend. I have two dogs of my own so I have the experience with all different breeds and personality. ***If making a overnight house sitting request, I usually have to bring my two dogs*** I work full time from home but do have to go into the office some days for a few hours. My previous rescues, Bailey and Kira, passed away of old age and it took several years but in January of 2021 I adopted Sprinkles, a lab-hound mix who is approximately 2-ish years old and 50lbs. I grew up with dobermans and I regularly watch my bff's 10lb small dog (and Sprinkles' friend) so I'm used to dogs both big and small. About: I've always loved dogs and caring for them. It’s important to make sure they get enough exercise and are safe. I enjoy dog walking and playing games with them like fetch and tug. I am happy to administer medication as well if needed. We have two cats, who are very sweet and laid back and normally hide out in basement when company is here! We also have an English Springer Spaniel, who loves playing with other dogs and is a respectful gentleman around the cats. I have a flexible schedule and taking care of your pets needs are at my top priority. I am available weekdays and weekends and also offer overnights. Healthy treats are provided for doggy day care and boarding. Clean dog beds provided, but feel free to bring anything that will make their stay feel more like home. I will always ensure that your fur babies are comfortable, happy, and safe.

Overall I just want you to know your dog is in good hands and will get a ton of excersise while it is with me! - -PAYMENTS- Rover has a weird set up for payments so please refer here and not my actual price chart for payments. DAILY dog siting (7am-6pm) will be 30$/day. NIGHTLY dog sitting (6pm-7am) will be 20$/ night. Ex: if you drop off Monday at 7am and pick up Friday at 6pm it will be 230$. 5 days @ 30/day=150, 4 nights @ 20/night= 80. Combine the 2 for 230. Simple dog visits 30 min and under 10$. About: I’ve been taking care of all sorts of animals since I was 13. I used to volunteer at a humane society and now partake in “adopt a dog for a day” at our local shelter! About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life and have always been an animal lover ever since I was a child! A fun little backstory about me...most teenagers get jobs to have money to go to the mall or whatever it is that they want to do, well my goal was to save up all the money I made and get my own puppy. That was one of the best things I ever did, I had her for 16 years. Other than having dogs all my life, I also have kennel technician and veterinary assistant experience. Before I moved back to North Carolina, I was working the front desk at a non profit animal hospital. I feel that I am a very genuine and good hearted person. I am willing to walk/jog/run/play fetch, honestly, I will do pretty much anything to make them happy while you’re away and would love to build a relationship with your fur baby!! I’m a stay at home mom, so my schedule is pretty open every day!♥️. It’s just my 4 year old and I until about 4pm Monday-Friday, so as long as your fur baby is good with kids anytime from early morning until then works! After 4 I have open availability without him (incase your baby isn’t good with kids). My weekends are generally 100% open so I’d love to help in any way that I can! About: Your animals will love coming back to me, I’ve grown up with dogs multiple from every breed cocker spaniel, dachshund, labs you name it I’ve had one and although we aren’t in a spot to have one of our own we love the idea of having there company around because they are a mans best friend. I’m happy to specialize each experience for max comfort for your pup. I have a remote job and am flexible with scheduling around your pups needs. There are times when I am unavailable but I will always have any walks, visits or day cares scheduled accordingly . I have a corgi mix of my own that goes on walks and potty breaks at a regular schedule. I have a fenced yard and a friendly corgi mix to keep any pups company. I do not have a crate but if provide one I have no problem if that is better for your pup.
