I typically am available whenever you need!! I have a very friendly and energetic Husky in my home who loves staying active. We go on walks around the neighborhood about every 2 hours for potty breaks, as well as mental and physical stimulation. We also occasionally enjoy car rides to the dog park for extra fun and exercise. Since my yard is unfenced, I have a secure outdoor lead available. If your dog enjoys spending time outside like mine, I’d be happy to accommodate that upon request. For safety and comfort, I also have a crate available and can crate your dog or mine as needed.

About: My journey started with owning cats growing up and training every animal I ever owned leading up to my first dog. My cats and even my bird. When I was 12, I started dog sitting Pierre, my mom’s coworkers Yorkshire Terrier. He caused me to fall in love with dogs. I became obsessed with AKC dog shows, my mom and I watched it every Thanksgiving morning after the parade. I actually loved anything with animals. I owned many cats from the age of 4 through my teenage years. I love cats but they can’t do what dogs can. Finally after years of begging, my mom got us our first dog, Omega. He was a beautiful standard poodle and was so smart. My best friends mom had a friend who needed to rehome one of hers, he was 1 when we got him and I taught him all he knew from down, stay to jumping over a pole. Before going off to college I chose to foster dogs in need and I fostered three successfully who went off and found their forever homes. It was the most rewarding thing. So I decided if I can work with dogs my entire life and just be around them all day for a job Id be in heaven! Naturally my teenage brain thought “I’ll be a Veterinarian”! I completed 3 years at Virginia Tech majoring in Animal & Poultry Science doing the Companion Animal Tract. I was able to receive a lot of hands on experience with animals of all kinds; pigs, cattle, sheep, horses and chickens (of all ages). I learned skills from halter breaking heifers to administering shots in 3 different ways. Though I do enjoy animals of all kinds I eventually came to the realization that I thoroughly enjoy training dogs and I’m constantly training my own. I currently have two that im working with regularly just for fun at one point and so it dawned on me that I’m in the wrong career. So while in the process of developing and launching my own personal Dog training and boarding business. Since I work from home, I have the time and knowledge to be able to dedicate to helping others who are in need of these services now. Trusting their fur babies will receive the best of care and would be made to feel at home. If your baby is more comfortable in their own home I’m happy to accommodate to their needs. Leaving your fur babies is not always easy, trust me, I’m having to do it for the first time soon myself and with me you can have the peace of mind that your furry friends will be in great hands, as I will treat them just how I’d expect mine to be treated ! With nothing but love, care and patience. I have Experience with all ages! Omega was with us until he passed at the age of 14! My dogs recently had an accidental litter and I raised up 10 puppies who all lived and are 12 weeks old now ! I’m familiar with administering pills or medications if necessary. 7 puppies remain in my care as I want to make sure they go to great homes and I plan to train them as service dog prospects ! I train dogs in basic and advance obedience, on and off leash training, and some skills like protection and sport work. I work from home full time starting my work day at 12:30 pm and ending at 9 pm. I get two 15 minute breaks and one 30 minute lunch through the day. During which they would be able to potty and play. So your furry friend will always have someone home with them. It is a goal of mine to eventually do this full time. I have A large yard on an acre property. Dogs who are trained off leash can roam in the back which has rock boarders lining the property. For those not trained off lead i have A long 30 ft lead which will still allow them the freedom to run around. I have two adult dogs and a litter of puppies still with me who can keep any anxious friends company. And for those who need to be alone, my two can be kept upstairs in my room and the puppies can be crated leaving your friend the entire downstairs to roam or in my work office with me while I work. I have two large crates which can be used if your friend has a hard time getting settled in a new environment. I provide an enriching environment where your fur baby will learn how to be a better k9 citizen everyday ! Picture and video updates can be sent regularly !
“We couldn’t be happier with the care Corn and Ella received from Rachel! It’s always a bit nerve-wracking leaving your dogs behind, but Rachel made the entire experience completely stress-free. Her communication was fantastic from start to finish—we received regular, reassuring updates and loved seeing how content they were. Most importantly, both dogs were incredibly happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for when we got back. If you are looking for someone trustworthy, attentive, and genuinely caring, we cannot recommend Rachel enough. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“I deeply appreciate Brittany's excellent care of our pup Sox. Sox experiences a lot of separation anxiety, so seeing her completely at ease means a lot! We will definitely book again! ❤️”

“My Maltese partner is one of the great joys of my life. The fact that I've entrusted her to Kathy multiple times says it all. Kathy obviously cares about animals in her charge. I will rebook and will recommend her to others.”

“She's the best! She kept me updated with photos, messages, and daily video calls from day one, and maintained my baby's routine. She took wonderful care of her. Her home is safe, and my baby never had to leave the house because it has a spacious backyard. Her service is personalized. Itzel was always very kind. I recommend her 1000%. On my next trip, I will contact her again, confident that she will take wonderful care of my baby at all times. You are the best!”

“I can’t thank Brooke enough for taking such amazing care of Nyla while I was away on my cruise! She made the whole process seamless from start to finish. I never had to worry because she kept me updated with plenty of adorable pictures and made sure Nyla was loved and well cared for every step of the way. It gave me such peace of mind to know Nyla was in such good hands. Highly recommend Brooke she’s truly the best!”

“I found Christopher to be genuine, caring and professional. Rudy isn’t quick to warm up to people, and he adjusted well to Christopher’s home. Christopher seemed take each dog’s needs into account to make sure everyone was cared for comfortable.”

“Rhona was wonderful with my boy Bleu! She stayed in touched with pictures and updates. He appeared to have a great time with her dogs. Nice space for them to get out in the backyard and play. Would definitely use her services again.”

About: Hi! I'm a dependable and caring animal lover who treats every pet like they're my own. I've had a few pups of my own over the years, including my precious baby, Marlowe, who has taught me so much about patience, training, and the unconditional love our pets give us. Whether it's a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay, my goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while you're away. I'm attentive to each pet's unique personality and routine, and I'm happy to follow any special instructions, including medications, feeding schedules, and exercise needs. I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your furry family member, and I would be honored to give them the same love, attention, and care l'd want for my own pets. I'm currently a stay-at-home wife, so I'm home most of the day and able to give your pet lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship. Dogs in our care are rarely left alone for more than 2-4 hours. Cur home is a cozy, pet-friendly single-family home with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. We have a 2-bedroom, 1-bath home that's clean, comfortable, and designed with our own dog, Marlowe, in mind. Marlowe is an almost 2-year-old Australian Shepherd/Golden Retriever mix who is incredibly friendly and loves meeting other dogs. We allow her on the furniture and bed because she's part of our family, but she usually chooses to sleep in her crate with the door open. We also take safety seriously by "Marlowe-proofing" areas of our home and limiting access to certain rooms when we're away. It's just my husband and me in the home, creating a calm, low-stress environment for visiting pets. While our neighborhood isn't ideal for long walks, we love taking dogs on walks in downtown areas for new sights, smells, and exercise. Whether your pup enjoys playtime in our fenced yard or relaxing indoors, they'll receive plenty of love, attention, and care while they're with us.

I will administer prescribed medications as needed. My goal is simple: to give you complete peace of mind while you’re away, knowing your pet is safe, loved, and well cared for in a comfortable, stress-free environment. I am a retired teacher and am home to love and care for your pet while you enjoy your time away. My schedule is flexible to meet your pet's needs. I live on the lake and have a large grassy area for your baby to play and explore with my dog on or off the leash. Inside the home, space will be also be shared with my cat. So, your baby will need to be cat friendly as well. We have a relaxed environment, but I am willing to adjust to your dog's routine as needed.

Over the years, I’ve worked with pets of all ages, personalities, and routines, and I take pride in being reliable, communicative, and easy to work with. I understand that every pet is different. Some want to play fetch for an hour, some prefer a leisurely walk, and some cats would rather supervise me from across the room. My goal is always the same: to make your pet feel comfortable, safe, and cared for while you’re away. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including seniors and pets that require medication. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick potty break, taking your dog for a walk, or spending the day with your pup in daycare, I provide dependable care and plenty of attention. Communication is a big priority for me. You’ll receive detailed Rover cards, photos, and updates so you always know how your pet is doing. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. I follow your instructions carefully, pay close attention to each pet’s routine, and provide regular updates throughout my visits. Building trust with both pets and owners is extremely important to me, and I strive to provide the same level of care I would want for my own animals.

“Morgan was phenomenal!! Not only did she work with me last minute with her having less than 1 hour notice but she went absolutely above and beyond to accommodate myself and my high maintence doberman - she saved me in a pinch and I could t be more grateful! Her hospitality and care was genuine and she was steps ahead of me for what I needed as she’s already experienced. I was traveling through St. Augustine and thank goodness she was available to work with me! Shocking bonus is my doberman was unusually calm with her when she’s typically uneasy with strangers the first time, she actually handled things very very well - says a lot!”

“Kathy is so sweet & very attentive with my dog. She's also great at communication, which I've found to be a rare occurrence on Rover. She cares for other dogs while keeping mine, but I would never know if she hadn't told me! She sends pics throughout the day & promptly updates time cards. She's so compassionate & truly cares for my fur baby's wellbeing. I highly recommend Kathy!”

About: I always hear people talk about the love of their pet. I understand how that feels since I now have a fur baby of my own. I work from home for the most part; therefore, I have the ability to give your fur baby the attention and care that they deserve. Pet love is the purest form of love. I have a fenced in big back yard with plenty of room for your fur baby to run and play. I also have a cozy and clean indoor space where your baby can rest and feel at home.
About: I provide a true home-away-from-home experience. I intentionally keep the number of boarding dogs small so every guest receives personalized attention, plenty of playtime, and lots of affection. Dogs stay in a safe, family environment instead of a crowded boarding facility, and I treat every dog like one of my own. I know how important it is to trust someone with your best friend, so I provide daily photo updates and make sure every dog feels comfortable, loved, and cared for throughout their stay. I am currently in nursing school and have a pretty flexible schedule. Thankfully, a lot of my schooling is done from home with the exception of in person clinicals, but your furry friend will always have someone here with them! Rather than caring for large groups of dogs, I host only one family’s dogs at a time. This creates a calmer, safer environment and allows me to provide truly personalized care. Guests enjoy supervised play in a securely fenced yard, plenty of indoor time, and the same love and attention my own dogs receive. My goal is for you to relax on your trip knowing your best friend is safe, happy, and right at home.

About: I love dogs and have enjoyed working with them in many capacities since I was a child and formally for over 15 years. I am a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and have spent years training loving companions. I am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross and undergo annual recertifications to stay current on the latest first-aid procedures. I also have experience administering both oral medications and injections. Before your pups stay, we have each family fill out a form for their furry companion. This helps us get to know them better in order to make their stay easier. I have no breed preference and are familiar with handling working canines. Your pup is welcome in our home, and our couch is open to your furry pooch. However, I also understand there are dogs who prefer to be outside and are not easily accommodated indoors. I also have covered outdoor runs for those families who still need a vacation but whose pups enjoy more fresh air and natural surroundings. I am happy to accommodate each family's preference. No matter what, canines are treated to lots of exercise and playtime. I wake up and start the day off with morning let out. After each group has been let we come back in for feeding. Morning feedings normally allow for 30-45 minutes before letting out again for a potty break. They are brought back in, crated, and pups are rotated out for play inside throughout the day. I let out every 2-4 hours through the day or more if needed. I do have the option to add on trail walks for those who have social canines who are good with other dogs and people (I will not be introducing them to others but it is a requirement to the trail). In the evening we normally do the last feeding at 7 pm followed by yard play and starting to settle in. Last potty break is at 10 pm. Note: Although I am at home full time I do on occasion leave our home to run errands. Your dog can be left alone for up to 4 hours (max). If this is ever the case your pup will always be crated and secure. For your pup's safety They are never given free rein while unsupervised. I take the safety of your furry companion very seriously. Canines are let out for potty breaks every 2-4 hours (or as needed, if required more frequently). I have a fenced-in yard so your pup will be safe during potty breaks. I do not allow companions from other families to play with each other. This is a safety measure. Your pup can be under a lot of stress when you're gone and I want to make their stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. This doesn't mean I will not be playing with your pup ourselves! I love playing fetch, puzzle games, and even tug with them. I do allow for several outings in the house throughout the day so they can get plenty of one-on-one attention inside as well as extra pets. I have 5 acres that are attached to the national preserve. If your furry companion is social and enjoys walks, I have several trails I am happy to take them on upon request (weather permitting). All outings are on leash only.

Feeding them around the same time the owners do. I am younger so I love to run around with the dogs. I will play with all of their toys with them. I can also chill out, lay down, and pet the dog!

“Our dogs are pretty hard headed and hard to get along with, but they loved Brittany. From the first meet & greet all the way through the boarding, they were loved and valued as if they were her own dogs! She gave us so many photos and updates so we were always in-the-know on how our dogs were doing. Brittany is so thoughtful she noticed one dog had some bad dry skin so she gave her an oatmeal bath to make her more comfortable. We will definitely be contacting Brittany again!”

“Our pets mean everything to us, and when we leave town, we want to find them the best possible care. This can be a challenging and anxious task. Norma was a perfect person to dog sit and made this task of leaving my dog away from me an extremely easy process. Norma had every trait you would expect from an excellent dog sitter. She was empathetic, professional, flexible, experienced, and had an instant connection with my dog due to her skills and knowledge. She constantly kept me updated with how my dog was doing and sent pictures of him regularly. At any point when I reached out to her, she promptly responded with an update and answers. I could sense that when she picked my dog and when I picked my dog from her at the end of visit, that he was happy and had a blast at her place. She left us with an excellent note and healthy treats. She also gave excellent feedback as to how to better manage my dog daily. If you have any concerns or doubts, about leaving your pet with stranger...I would highly recommend Norma and will myself seek her services if needed in the future. Thank you so much Norma, what you do is not an easy job and to do it as well as you did...Ladoo and I cant thank you enough.”

“Left our two boys with Daniel while we went on vacation and it was perfect! He kept us updated daily with photos and let us know how they were getting along. Our pups are our babies and we were really nervous leaving them, but Daniel made it so easy and made us feel comfortable leaving them in his care. We will definitely book with him again!”
“Leslie was VERY accommodating with our last minute booking and always answering my texts. She sent pictures to reassure our dog was in good hands. He fell asleep on our drive home which means he had got out lots of energy and had a great time! Will defiantly be using her and her husband again.”

“Abriana was great with my french bulldog. Very professional and provided my with updates while I was on my trip. Will definitely have her watch my dog when I travel again.”
