I’m free for over-night house-siting in Chapel Hill on weekdays and weekends. I have my own small young pup who is a sweetheart and comes along with me. When house-siting on Tue, Wed, Thu, I would be home with your pet from 6PM to 8AM. I charge a lower fee those days. Monday and Friday, I can come provide a potty break at noon. About: I have had cats in the home since I was about 6 years old, I am now 23 and still have a 17 year old, an 8 year old, and a 1 year old. I have had the experience of raising kittens from kittenhood until their golden years. Besides my own pets, I have rescued and taken care of multiple stray cats as well. Most notably would be two years ago when I rescued two kittens from my local park. I spent countless hours with them before catching them and getting them to the vet for all of their shots and fixing. Afterwards, they lived at my home where I would spend hours sitting with them, trying to get two feral boys to be friendly so they could be rehomed. Currently, they are living with a loving home that provides frequent updates and they even sleep in the bed with her! About: We were raising dogs before we had children. Siberian Huskies, Akitas, rescue dogs, and Icelandic Sheepdogs. There have been dogs in our home for over 50 years. Our pets are a part of the family and greet us each day with a licky kiss on the chin. Our grandchildren love to play with Spensa when they visit. About: I have never gone a year of my life without owning at least 2 dogs. I have always trained them well with leash training, potty, and crate training. I now am training a service dog (with the help of some classes) and am learning so much more about a dog’s health, needs, and how to learn from them as much as they learn from us. I know that when I go out of town I want the best care for my dogs and I want to provide a good place for other dogs to stay as well. I am a full time online student at the moment so I am available all day everyday, with the exception of future appointments or meetings that will not take more than a few hours out of a day at a time. I am typically home watching over my own dogs at all hours of the day; I do work part time on the weekends though and am usually gone for 5-8 hours at a time onFridays-Sundays (depending on the week). I live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood which provides a standard sized tennis court, which we have basically turned into a play park for dogs! We all have contributed toys to leave at the tennis court and I LOVE brining my dog (and the doggie I am watching over) to the court to run freely for a while and play without worrying about other dogs or being on a leash. Because I have a larger dog (110 lbs; he is a gentle giant), I have a large crate and large bed as well! This will be great for any sized dog whether they are crate-trained or not :)

I will no longer be able to accept verbal verification that your pet will be fine with a stranger entering the home. (Exceptions are small puppies) I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was 10. My neighbor growing up had 4 cats, that I loved dearly! She was the first person who allowed me to watch her fur babies when she went on vacation! I've pet sat many times since then. Dogs big and small of all breeds from a little pug to a 100lb+ Rottweiler. I own a 85lb pit bull mix and a 10lb weenier dog. 🐶 They are my babies.💗 I can drop in anytime to check on your fur babies. Spend extra time with them. I do bathing, and walks also! If you need your fur babies to be crated, no problem! I will make sure their safety comes first. You can put your mind at ease knowing your pets will be taken care of! This is my full time job, I enjoy every second of it! So day or night I can always do a drop in visit or a walk! Your pets safety comes first! So during a meet and greet I will be going over a small list of questions to make sure I can take care of your fur baby to the best of my ability. With this I create a “pet profile” so when you need to rebook with me I’ve already got a reference to look back at. EXAMPLE; if your dog is good with other animals, or if there is a certain amount of food that needs to be given. These are just notes I make for myself, and so you can rest assured your fur baby is getting the best care!

Hamsters and chinchillas. I loved them all. I have been around farm animals quite a bit. I'm in love with horses and could even provide care for farm animals. In high school I started working at the vet clinic that at the time offered boarding services. I did that for a short time. In that time I have dog/house sat for family friends. Now in more recent years I've dog sat and currently work for a boarding business. I have been there a full year now and I love it. It is part time hours and would like something extra that still involves animals. Dog walks and care are not a problem for me. I would love to help anyone with their precious pups. I'm also trying to advance in trade skills and become a dog trainer.
“Daysi is amazing! We hired her to walk/check up on our two big dogs in the morning and afternoon while we were out of town one day. She sent lots of pictures showing everything they did on each visit and was able to walk them both together and make sure they had time to eat since we were gone all day. About: I love dogs! I've had medium to large breed dogs throughout my life and would like to start walking dogs as a side gig. Walking dogs within neighborhoods or trails would be my specialty. I understand how important it is to have someone you trust to take excellent care of your pet. I am very competent and will take excellent care of your furry friend. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life ranging from 5lbs to 50+lbs. Dogs have always been a significant part of my life, and I love caring for dogs for friends and family. I’m available weekends for boarding. I am also available most weekdays after work. I will only take your dogs if I’m 100% sure I will be available and with them for their specific needs. I have a loving dog to play with your dog, or I can keep them separated if you like. I let your dog roam my house always, unless you prefer them to be crated with a crate provided. They are also welcome to sleep wherever they want whether that be with me in bed or on the floor/couch - whatever makes them comfortable.
About: Customers will love that I love animals and they will be able to feel it! I have had many animals for long periods of my life. My Cagney ( a min pin) passed when she was 16. My Boo ( a black cat) passed also when she was 16. They were the best! My babies are always interesting - all their personalities make them all so different just like people, except that they love you unconditionally. They are always there no matter what! One of my all time favorites was a bulldog I used to pet sit. He was a funny slobbery clumsy little man. Sliming corners of my jeans and my shoes and running as hard as he could to me when I came thru the door and always ready to hang out and cuddle. Fun stuff!!!!! One customer had two cats that required lots of love visits! They loved to play and run all over when u visited. Mommy Suzanne loved pics so my son and I would get them playing and start taking pics. Sweet personalities. My weakness used to be taking in animals when I couldn't afford any more. I try not to do that now - instead I try to place strays that others bring me into other good homes. My brother took in one such cat that I took in as a rescue. Jazz brought him and my brothers wife a lot of happiness over the years!
