“Isabel was great to work with. She came in so clutch, after our original sitter got sick, and we needed to scramble to find someone in a day. It ended up being the best thing that could have happened - as Isabel did a wonderful job. She was fast to respond, and scheduled a meet and greet right away. She lives in a rural area, and has a fenced in backyard - which is ideal for dogs like Brady to roam free and have fun. She was also great about sending pictures and updates - without me having to ask, which I really appreciated. Brady seemed to have a wonderful time, and I'd highly recommend her.”

I was so happy and relieved that he was having such a great time, and a little worried he may forget about me!! Sarah's husband played an important role as co-sitter, giving my dog another person to add to her favorite people list. My dog and I met with Sarah about a week or two prior to the stay, to go over any of Boo's specific characteristics. Sarah's household was very pleasant, and the backyard was nicely fenced in for a large playing area. Communicating while planning and during the stay was excellent. About: I’ve lived with up to 7 dogs at a time, from bottle feeding to 16yo. I volunteer at the WHS and occasionally foster so even if you have a tricky pup, we can make it work! I’ve always had multiple dogs so I’m used to altering my life to benefit animals. They always have been and always will be a part of my every day. I have a young female English Springer Spaniel that is the sweetest, most playful companion your pup could have during their stay. Just like with fosters, if they’re in my home they’re basically my dog, from the enrichment treats to the sniffy walks!

About: I have had cats in the home since I was about 6 years old, I am now 23 and still have a 17 year old, an 8 year old, and a 1 year old. I have had the experience of raising kittens from kittenhood until their golden years. Besides my own pets, I have rescued and taken care of multiple stray cats as well. Most notably would be two years ago when I rescued two kittens from my local park. I spent countless hours with them before catching them and getting them to the vet for all of their shots and fixing. Afterwards, they lived at my home where I would spend hours sitting with them, trying to get two feral boys to be friendly so they could be rehomed. Currently, they are living with a loving home that provides frequent updates and they even sleep in the bed with her! Cats specifically can require patience and a kind hand, which I am more than happy to provide. Cats set their boundaries and I respect them while keeping an eye on them. About: Hi! I grew up with dogs in the household my entire life and know just how much love, attention and activity are important. I’m here to provide for your pet when you need an extra hand. I’m free for over-night house-siting in Chapel Hill on weekdays and weekends. I have my own small young pup who is a sweetheart and comes along with me. When house-siting on Tue, Wed, Thu, I would be home with your pet from 6PM to 8AM. I charge a lower fee those days. Monday and Friday, I can come provide a potty break at noon. On the weekends, I can be home 70-100% of the day, depending on your needs. I think exercise and stimulation are very important! I personally love going on long walks and driving to the park. But every dog’s needs are different. I’m happy to take any care instructions the pet parent requests.
About: I have always had animals in my life. I have kept many family members, neighbors and friends pets while they travel. Also kept senior's pets in my home while they were hospitalized in the retirement community that I retired from. I like to walk and enjoy getting in my steps with the company. Dogs are so happy to get out and about. I live on a farm on the edge of Alamance County. And being retired I have a very flexible schedule. I had one dog for 3 months while the owner recouped in our rehab center. I took the dog with me to work each day and after their lunch, i carried the dog to the center to visit the owner for a couple of hours and then returned to pick her up and bring her home. I'm sure this enhanced her recovery!

About: I have never gone a year of my life without owning at least 2 dogs. I have always trained them well with leash training, potty, and crate training. I now am training a service dog (with the help of some classes) and am learning so much more about a dog’s health, needs, and how to learn from them as much as they learn from us. I know that when I go out of town I want the best care for my dogs and I want to provide a good place for other dogs to stay as well. I am a full time online student at the moment so I am available all day everyday, with the exception of future appointments or meetings that will not take more than a few hours out of a day at a time. I am typically home watching over my own dogs at all hours of the day; I do work part time on the weekends though and am usually gone for 5-8 hours at a time onFridays-Sundays (depending on the week). I live in a very dog-friendly neighborhood which provides a standard sized tennis court, which we have basically turned into a play park for dogs! We all have contributed toys to leave at the tennis court and I LOVE brining my dog (and the doggie I am watching over) to the court to run freely for a while and play without worrying about other dogs or being on a leash. Because I have a larger dog (110 lbs; he is a gentle giant), I have a large crate and large bed as well! This will be great for any sized dog whether they are crate-trained or not :)

About: We were raising dogs before we had children. Siberian Huskies, Akitas, rescue dogs, and Icelandic Sheepdogs. There have been dogs in our home for over 50 years. Our pets are a part of the family and greet us each day with a licky kiss on the chin. Our grandchildren love to play with Spensa when they visit. Pet care is intentional and a part of our daily routine. With the morning coffee comes the morning run around the back yard. With my breakfast is the dogs breakfast. If we go for a walk, so does the dog! We all just do life together as we can! We have a fenced yard allowing plenty of room to run and play. My neighbor growing up had 4 cats, that I loved dearly! She was the first person who allowed me to watch her fur babies when she went on vacation! I've pet sat many times since then. Dogs big and small of all breeds from a little pug to a 100lb+ Rottweiler. I own a 85lb pit bull mix and a 10lb weenier dog. 🐶 They are my babies.💗 I can drop in anytime to check on your fur babies. Spend extra time with them. I do bathing, and walks also! If you need your fur babies to be crated, no problem! I will make sure their safety comes first. You can put your mind at ease knowing your pets will be taken care of! This is my full time job, I enjoy every second of it! So day or night I can always do a drop in visit or a walk! Your pets safety comes first! So during a meet and greet I will be going over a small list of questions to make sure I can take care of your fur baby to the best of my ability. With this I create a “pet profile” so when you need to rebook with me I’ve already got a reference to look back at. About: As a young girl I've always had a fondness for animals. I would beg to have a dog until I finally got one. Pepper. Then later Betsy. I've had guinea pigs and rabbits. A rat and mice. Hamsters and chinchillas. I loved them all. I have been around farm animals quite a bit. I'm in love with horses and could even provide care for farm animals. In high school I started working at the vet clinic that at the time offered boarding services. I did that for a short time. In that time I have dog/house sat for family friends. I had one dog for 3 months while the owner recouped in our rehab center. I took the dog with me to work each day and after their lunch, i carried the dog to the center to visit the owner for a couple of hours and then returned to pick her up and bring her home. I'm sure this enhanced her recovery!
About: I absolutely adore all animals!! I have two dogs of my own and 5 in total at my family home, I am constantly around animals and helped raise them from puppies. I love walking and would be happy to play and exercise your pets or just love on them and give them cuddles whatever they need to be happy and healthy!! I’m happy to provide other house chores such as watering plants, and taking garbage out if need be😊 I have spare time in my day as I’m in school for animal management as a career. About: Customers will love that I love animals and they will be able to feel it! I have had many animals for long periods of my life. My Cagney ( a min pin) passed when she was 16. My Boo ( a black cat) passed also when she was 16. They were the best! My babies are always interesting - all their personalities make them all so different just like people, except that they love you unconditionally. They are always there no matter what! One of my all time favorites was a bulldog I used to pet sit. He was a funny slobbery clumsy little man. Sliming corners of my jeans and my shoes and running as hard as he could to me when I came thru the door and always ready to hang out and cuddle. Fun stuff!!!!! One customer had two cats that required lots of love visits! They loved to play and run all over when u visited. Mommy Suzanne loved pics so my son and I would get them playing and start taking pics. Sweet personalities. My weakness used to be taking in animals when I couldn't afford any more. I try not to do that now - instead I try to place strays that others bring me into other good homes. My brother took in one such cat that I took in as a rescue. Jazz brought him and my brothers wife a lot of happiness over the years! I currently work full time but work from home but and can work from your home if house sitting and/or visit when needed thruout the day(s). I follow your lead.
