“I can't say enough positive things about my and my pup's experience with Brad. 1. Booking/Communication - From the initial booking, Brad was communicative and responsive ensuring that I would feel comfortable even before I dropped my pup off. 2. Drop off - At drop-off, Brad was extremely attentive to understand the unique needs of my pup especially as it pertained to his medication. In my moving around, I forgot to bring something my pup needed. Brad was extremely helpful in getting it resolved so that my pup's stay would be just fine. Additionally, Brad went out of his way to ask how, and what frequency, I wanted to be updated on my pup's stay. 3. Stay - My pup had a fantastic time staying with Brad and having pup siblings at Brad's house. I'm confident of this not only because, true to his word, Brad was not only communicative about what was going on each day (for the entire ~3wk stay), but he also sent pictures and videos with funny notes! I could see that my dog was active not only outside but inside the home, was playing well with the other dogs, and was being loved and snuggled daily. 4. Pick-up - The day of pick-up, my flight was delayed impacting my ability to pick-up my pup on time. Brad was completely understanding and was communicative to ensure that I had no worries. When I arrived to pick up my pup, all of the things I sent with my pup came home in great condition AND Brad sent me home with a treat that he had graciously been giving my pup as well! I could tell my pup was excited to go home but was sad to leave Brad and his new friends! Overall, we will DEFINITELY use Brad again and recommend him to anyone that is looking for someone to treat their pup like family when they have to go away. Thanks again, Brad!”

About: I've had animals since I was a child and have taken care of them all of my adult life. I have personally fostered over 75 dogs through to their adoptions! I'm a trusted caregiver who can handle animals of all sizes, ages, abilities and temperaments! I love getting to know each animal's personality and how to best take care of them! With several dogs and a cat at home, I am always in pet care mode (and know how important it is to find a trusted sitter). Whether it is a drop-in or a boarding situation, I treat each pet like they are my own. (Also, our cat has his own "wing" of our home so he is not interacting with any visiting dogs.) We have two friendly, large dogs, Tennessee & Tucky who have been foster brothers to over 75 dogs of all sizes and ages. About: I have had, rescued, and taken care of a wide variety of dogs from smaller malti-poos to a Dane who had been living on the street, was skin and bones, and ended up 188 lbs. Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. I am home most days, except when I am hosting 3-hour board games at the local library and rec center. Otherwise, I take care of our house and rental properties. I have a large fenced yard -- especially-so since my house sits along North Center Street. I also use carabiners to make sure that gates are locked.

About: My mom got me my first dog when I was 10 years old, and it was from then on that I promised to take care of him the best way I knew how. I have experience administering medication (in pill form, liquid, and gel) to both dogs and cats, even when they don’t want to take it. I have also personally trained my dog to sit, lie down, high five, and on accident, I taught him to get up on his hind legs and beg with his front paws. If there is any special care that your animal needs, I would be more than happy to quickly and efficiently learn and adapt to care for your animal the way they deserve. I am not available on the weekends, including friday for various extraneous responsibilities. When I first meet an animal, I get down to their level and extend my hand just enough to offer it as an option for them to investigate, but not enough to shove it it their face. I wait until the dog or cat engages with me before I try to pet them on my own to ensure that they feel comfortable and safe. If your animal has separation anxiety, I would be more than happy to comfort them with calming words and gentle hands for pets and snuggles. I will only feed or give your animal a treat if I am told to do so or given the okay beforehand as I do not want to over feed them or give them a treat you have bought without consent.

About: I have been taking care of my family & friends pets check up on my neighbors pets when they go out of vacation. I love animals I believe you’re pet deserves the very best care! I am currently working a full-time job! However, due to the field of job I am in. I have lots of free time to check up on pets! For potty breaks, lunch time and I am free after work for entire night I care for pets in my home by always offering, cuddles and playtime and naps never having to feel alone. I will care for them as if they were my own.

About: I've had animals since I was a child and have taken care of them all of my adult life. I have personally fostered over 75 dogs through to their adoptions! I'm a trusted caregiver who can handle animals of all sizes, ages, abilities and temperaments! I love getting to know each animal's personality and how to best take care of them! With several dogs and a cat at home, I am always in pet care mode (and know how important it is to find a trusted sitter). Whether it is a drop-in or a boarding situation, I treat each pet like they are my own. (Also, our cat has his own "wing" of our home so he is not interacting with any visiting dogs.) We have two friendly, large dogs, Tennessee & Tucky who have been foster brothers to over 75 dogs of all sizes and ages. Having fostered so many dogs, I recognize that each animal is unique and I enjoy getting to know their individual personalities and how to best care for them. Whether the animals are in my house or their own, I will follow the owners' instructions and manage expectations so there are as few surprises as possible. I know how worrisome it can be to leave your pet(s) in the care of another, and I pride myself on making sure the animals are taken care of and enjoy themselves.

About: I've trained my own dogs from the puppy stage and taken care of them in the senior stage. I love all of it. I enjoy going on walks with any of the dogs I take care of while also making sure they are having fun too. I can take care of any needs for your dogs and cats. “Rachel is AMAZING!! This was my first time boarding my pups (one with anxiety) and using Rover. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 11/10 experience! We did a meet and greet ahead of time, which was super helpful. She has a wonderful setup! A nice, large, fenced-in yard for them to run around and play. The upper deck is perfect for my pups looking out over the yard and resting in the sun. Rachel is a fantastic communicator sending multiple updates, pics and videos throughout the day. With my permission, the dogs were allowed on the couch and provided lots of cuddles and she even slept in the spare room with them (just like home). For my pup with anxiety, she moved slow and gave her time to adjust and settle. My babies got all the play, love and attention they are used to (plus a little more) 😊😊 Also, Rachel was very flexible with me for drop-off and pickup as we were going out of town.
