About: We’ve both loved animals since childhood, and for nearly 15 years, we had the privilege of caring for two rescue dogs we brought home from Korea. Over the years, we cared for them through surgeries, illnesses, and their senior years. They had very different personalities and needs, and we learned how important it is to understand each dog and care for them as individuals - with patience, attention, and plenty of love. We’ve since said goodbye to both of our beloved dogs after long, happy lives. While we aren’t quite ready to adopt again, we miss having dogs around and would love the opportunity to care for yours. On weekends, we have a few occasional commitments, but we plan our schedule carefully and will never leave your dog alone for more than about three hours at a time on the days or evenings when we’re away. Our goal is to give your dog plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout their stay. Your dog’s safety and comfort are our top priorities. We have a fully fenced yard where dogs can enjoy some outdoor time safely, along with a comfortable home environment where they can relax and settle into their own routine. About: I am retired, have trained and shown dogs for over fifty years, live in a condo with one sheltie and one cat. I like to sit ONE dog at a time so it can have special one on one attention. Special arrangements can be made with two dogs that are from the same family. My floors are tile and I sterilize them between visits. I do NOT have a fenced yard but we have a 20 x 80 fenced dog run right outside my back door and we walk every two to three hours and once during the night. Since I am retired, I can be with your dog 24/7 with small exceptions. The dogs are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. I do insist that dogs be house trained and crate trained since we feed in crates or crate them if I have to be away. If you want personal care and attention for your dog, we would love to supply that service. We do NOT do meet and greets. We find that those brief encounters simply put stress on my dogs and yours. I take about an hour when a dog has arrived to acclimate him safely and comfortably. I only care for small dogs, under 30 pounds, and no puppies. About: Before bringing a dog into your family it is important to know how to take care of them. You need to provide love and affection and kindness. They are treated like family members. I enjoy playing with them in the backyard or in the house. Love to take them for walks if that is what is preferred. Keeps us both healthy. I love cuddling with them on the couch and petting them. About: I have been raised with a pet by side. When I have born we had two brittany spaniels that have since passed on. In 8th grade, after they passed, we adopted another puppy brittany. A year later, we adopted another, to have our current pair of brittanys. So I have experience raising puppies as well. I play with them outdoors and indoors, brush them, clean up their poop, bath them, feed them, and train them. They also get taken on walks at the local forest preserve for stimulation. I have experience in caring for fish and snakes. Between dogs, I had my cat to keep me company. She is solely my cat, so she got the same attention as the dogs, plus I bought her toys, treats, litter, and food. Outside of my dogs I have pet sit goldens labs, goldendoodles, springer spaniels, and many other breeds. As in my headline, I don't think any animal is low maintenance. That just means the pet isn't getting the care it deserves. I had my cat at my dorm first semester, and I fed her breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I made sure to play with twice a day and we played birds on the tv for stimulation as well. I had a weekly schedule to brush her twice a week, and clean the litter box every Sunday and Wednesday. At home I would alternate playing with my dogs, training, and brushing them whenever possible. I can play indoors and outdoors. I can take the animal for walks. Clean up any potential messes, such as muddy dogs or if a cat has a hairball. I can accompany senior pets that need help eating. I can brush the animal. And feed them, and do basic training.

“Anamika did an INCREDIBLE job taking care of my 2 year old (high energy) havanese puppy! We had just moved to Charlotte and it was hard to find someone I could completely trust. After tons of meet and greets, I had a good feeling about Anamika, and decided to board my pup with her for 5 days. From the moment I left, I was given multiple updates/pictures a day. If I reached out she responded very timely (within minutes). She has a great fenced in yard and she never let Dudley outside without supervision.
