About: I've always had a big heart for all animals. Growing up, we weren't allowed to have any pets larger than a rabbit- so I worked with that. We had fish, turtles, a lizard, chinchilla, but always begged for more. On my 12th birthday was when my sister and I were finally granted a miracle- our mother was allowing for us to adopt a set of kittens. From there, our furry family grew. We now have another cat and two dogs! When working to prove our responsibility, my sister and I took it upon ourselves to become our neighborhoods pet sitter and walker. In school, I had won an award for dedicating most community service hours where I volunteered to help at my local animal shelter. After high school I moved a lot for school and work, so had to leave behind my furry family behind at my familys home. Today in NC I have a small pup and rescued stray cat. About: We have been taking care of dogs since 2018! We are so enjoying it!! Hubby walks the dogs and I cuddle and play! It's a win win for your fur baby! For doggie day care we are available between 8 am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Would love long term . We do have one small dog. For boarding we are available both weekdays and weekends. We have a nice fenced-in backyard and my husband takes the dogs out for walks when possible! I have one small dog of my own that is old and very easy going. I currently work full time with kids with Autism. I usually work from 10-4. Weekends I do not work so drop offs at 8am and pick ups are flexible. I can provide play time with my dog inside the home and outside in my yard. They will be supervised at all times by myself or my spouse. They can be let out hourly or more. Can go to the dog park in my neighborhood right behind my house during my lunch break and when I get off at 4. must be friendly with other dogs because my dog will be present! during the summer I only work 1 day/week so very open! I will not allow dogs out without a leash if there’s no fence, and I will always listen to an owners instructions on how to best care for their fur babies. in my home, I have a fenced in backyard. I do not leave dogs home alone unless they are in a crate or kennel. There is a neighborhood dog park right behind my house ( that is typically empty ) that our dogs can play in as well.

Yes his spoiled butt has occasionally had tantrums that include relieving himself on the floor or carpet on occasion when mad at me (usually only for leaving him) but if not another available room like a bathroom, I’ll keep him in his carrier during the likely 2-4+ hrs housesitting p/visit or day so your pet(s) & he should be fine. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST SITTING OF ANY TYPE OF DOG OR PET WITH A HISTORY OF AGGRESSION, INDIVIDUALLY or AS A BREED: This includes pitties, rotties, Shepards, Dobermins, & cats that have shown aggression towards any person or people. I know it may be based mainly on how they were treated while growing up…but I like living & have many others depending on me to make it home. Call me chicken 🐓 all you want but: I’m unwilling to work in isolated homes (considered too far/blocked from viewpoint of neighbors/roads + too close to wooded areas). For safety & privacy, I may be willing when able, to stay for a minimum agreed upon amount of hrs. but not overnight unless the unlikely event I feel VERY safe, cozy, comfortable, & secure in doing so. I must be able to trust that I will be protected in private moments as well & don't mind spending hours daily in a decent home for house sitting under those conditions but must feel that my mom, pets, & I are fully comfortable & safe for overnight stays (which’ll likely have .1% chance of happening 😅). We can discuss this further & some things mentioned may have changed since time of posting but THERE MUST BE SECURE, WORKING LATCHES on exit doors or you agree I may bring my own + LOCKS ON ALL ENTRANCES, including window locks. PROVIDE THE # TO YOUR SECURITY, FRONT DESK, LANDLORD, &/or SUPERINTENDENT, IF APPLICABLE, in case of emergency 🆘. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ELSE SHOULD HAVE KEYS THAT CAN ENTER WHILE YOU’RE AWAY!!! During meet & greet, please show me where applicable fire extinguishers & any other life saving devices such as escape ladders from upper floors are just to be on the safe side. Yup. Horror movies & bad experiences galore…! 🤷🏽♀️
About: Over the past two summers, I have gained great experience watching not only my own dog but also pet sitting for my friends and family. I am incredibly reliable and my top priority is always keeping your pets safe and comfortable. I am also super active and absolutely love going on long walks, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and fun outdoor time with me! I currently work a part-time job, which gives me a lot of flexibility for pet care. I am always free in the early mornings to take your dog out for walks, potty breaks, and fresh air before my day starts. About: I grew up with dogs as a kid. As an adult I’ve owned 2 dogs for a total of 4 years. The first I had for 3 years and had gotten him from a friend due to PCS. My current is a GSD that I got as an 8 week puppy who is currently over a year old that I trained myself. I currently work about 6-8 hours a day but have a short commute to work so if needed, I am able to check in on pets on a more frequent basis. I take my dog outdoors pretty frequently since he’s high energy whether it be on walks or for play in the yard. At least once a week, I take him somewhere public to work on his socialization and training with distractions. We train pretty frequently as well and have to say he does pretty well so if you’d like, I can assist in anything you’re trying to train. Disclaimer though, I’m not a professional trainer, only dogs I’ve trained are the ones I’ve owned. I live in a house with a pretty large fenced yard. I’m a big advocate for dogs getting activity, whether that’s physical like a walk or play outside or if it’s any kind of mental stimulation. My dog is crate trained and stays in his crate while I am not at home. I would prefer the same of your pet to ensure safety of your fur baby while I am away. Once I’m home, I allow my dog to free roam the house and will do the same for yours. My dog has been around several dogs and cats and is very friendly, social and playful, however, if needed, I have the ability to separate animals that don’t get along to ensure their safety. About: Horses. Currently have 2 horses and have been around them since I was 3. Have only had my 2 since 2010. Also have 2 dogs that were originally from the Wake County Animal Center and fostered by me and have experience administering medication as needed for multiple species. I have a rabbit, dove, cat, and chickens. I currently work full time as an Animal Health Care Technician so would be available for overnight care, evening and early morning walks. On days I am off I would be happy to do middle of the day walks and help as best as possible!
