About: I have loved dogs since before my parents finally fulfilled my Christmas wish for a puppy when I was five. Since then, dogs have been a constant in my life and a crucial source of joy and fulfillment. Over the last decade I embraced the adult side of dog love by regularly dog sitting for friends and family and eventually adopting a dog of my own. Dogs have always been one of the best parts of my life and I look forward to meeting yours! I don't have a formal dog training certification, but I think my dog Rafiki would gladly give me one. I adopted Rafiki 7 years ago and he is wonderful. His special talents include spinning his tail like a helicopter and being the first dog that 'non-dog-lovers' actually enjoy. He was not always such a dream though. When he was a puppy he had all sorts of terrible habits that I won't get into (RIP tv remotes, shoes, untoppled drinks). I decided that I needed some help with this adorable rambunctious puppy and signed him up for day camp training with a trainer in Durham. Every day when I picked him up, the trainer would spend 30 minutes to an hour teaching me how to work with Rafiki. He taught me a million things and really opened my eyes on how interact with dogs, how to read their body language, and how to best communicate with them. Though I’m no expert, I’d be happy to reinforce any training or problem-solving you’re working on with your pup. I am also happy to just spend some quality time together making sure their time away from you is fun, safe and enriching. I would love the chance to take your pup on some walks and adventures while giving you the peace of mind of knowing they are in good hands! I have a flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for pet care. I like to stay active and enjoy hikes and walks with our furry friends. My dog is able to come in and out as he pleases. We have a fenced in yard (front and back) with plenty of room to play.

About: Have had at least 1 pet for over 25 years. Wife and I are recent empty nesters that went from having 4 cats and 2 dogs to a Lab and 1 cat when the last of our 4 kids moved out. We have a dog park for them to play at our place. Our Labrador Bailey will be put in crate until they get acquainted if needed. During my young adult years I housesat for multiple different families. When I had young children, I continued to do drop in visits and we had dogs come stay with us. As a homeschool mom, I have plenty of time in my day to come visit with your pet! I look forward to serving in Person County since we recently moved to the area! We are able to board now that we have moved into our new house. We prefer non shedding dogs. We prefer to take one dog at a time but depending on the situation, we may be open to taking two. Your dog must get along with other dogs. We have a 4 year old female goldendoodle. She has gotten along with every dog we have watched thus far. Your dog must also be friendly with kids. We have an 8 year old and 12 year old who love dogs! We require you to bring your dog for a meet and greet before boarding to make sure it is a safe environment for all of us! About: I’ve pet sat my friends animals, and they’ve had so many! Senior dogs that have accidents and have behavioral issues. Exotic pets, of many kids. Every morning, I fill the cat and water bowl in my room, weekly I clean the bowls. For my dogs, whenever my parents don’t feed them cause they are out, I feed them and fill their water. I brush their coats, and try to give them baths every few weeks or so! However the pet parents would like, but I care for what is best for their health. I understand each pet is different and needs different things. I can bathe the animals depending on behavior, my right leg doesn't haven't as much feeling since surgery and cant handle a lot of big pressure.

They have designated rest areas (although I do allow animals on furniture), plenty of enrichment activities/toys, and lots of affection of course! I also have a large yard where my dogs love to run around and play with toys (when outside, they are always supervised) and a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks! I am always keeping my eyes on them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners during each visit. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.

About: I have grown up with dogs my entire life! My family had a wonderful mutt that arrived the same year that I was born, so he was essentially my puppy sibling. He has long passed away but I also have many years of experience dog sitting for my family and friends and can provide references. About: Most of my experience is with dogs of friends or co-workers. I generally keep their dogs at their place where they are most comfortable and take them out frequently for walks/runs or whatever they'd like to do. So long as the dog is house trained and not on the "forbidden breed list" at the apartments I stay, they are welcome to my home too. I've sat a Pointer/Dalmation mix, Maltese mix, Shepherd mix, Chow Chow, Boxer, Cane Corso, and 2 Weimaraners in the past. My fulltime job is a nurse, and I only work 36 hours a week. I don't really consider pet sitting or walking a job because I love dogs so much. Just looking to make some extra income and maybe start my own business someday. I have a laid back personality and dogs tend to take to me immediately or at least stay true to their breeds. Chow Chow was my brother-in-law's dog who barked at me a good 3-4 times before she knew I wasn't a total stranger. Bothered me none.

About: I have loved dogs since before my parents finally fulfilled my Christmas wish for a puppy when I was five. Since then, dogs have been a constant in my life and a crucial source of joy and fulfillment. Over the last decade I embraced the adult side of dog love by regularly dog sitting for friends and family and eventually adopting a dog of my own. Dogs have always been one of the best parts of my life and I look forward to meeting yours! I don't have a formal dog training certification, but I think my dog Rafiki would gladly give me one. I adopted Rafiki 7 years ago and he is wonderful. His special talents include spinning his tail like a helicopter and being the first dog that 'non-dog-lovers' actually enjoy. He was not always such a dream though. When he was a puppy he had all sorts of terrible habits that I won't get into (RIP tv remotes, shoes, untoppled drinks). I decided that I needed some help with this adorable rambunctious puppy and signed him up for day camp training with a trainer in Durham. Every day when I picked him up, the trainer would spend 30 minutes to an hour teaching me how to work with Rafiki. He taught me a million things and really opened my eyes on how interact with dogs, how to read their body language, and how to best communicate with them. Though I’m no expert, I’d be happy to reinforce any training or problem-solving you’re working on with your pup. I am also happy to just spend some quality time together making sure their time away from you is fun, safe and enriching. I would love the chance to take your pup on some walks and adventures while giving you the peace of mind of knowing they are in good hands! I have a flexible schedule that allows plenty of time for pet care. I like to stay active and enjoy hikes and walks with our furry friends. My dog is able to come in and out as he pleases. We have a fenced in yard (front and back) with plenty of room to play.
