She noticed Max loves carrying toys in his mouth (he even brought one on a walk and dropped it somewhere along the way!), that Dino meows toward the supply bags, and caught adorable moments like Ashly sleeping with her head hanging off the couch arm. She knew exactly which brush Dino goes crazy for and that Ashly loves being rolled over for pets. She was also patient and gentle with our shyest cat, Kailas, who spent most of his time hiding under the bed. She found ways to bond with him on his terms—leaving lollipop treats near him and noticing he’d quietly eat them when she wasn’t looking. By the end, she even had him eating from her hand! You can tell Alice genuinely loves animals. Her updates were full of warmth and personality that very often made us smile while we were reading them. We had complete peace of mind knowing our pets were in such attentive, loving hands. We’ll definitely be booking her again!”

Whether that is planned vacations or when life likes to kick you down, we are here to offer a boarding experience like no other. My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. About: I love playing with and caring for animals. I know it’s hard to be there for your pet at all times, so I would love to help you with your needs. I love to play, walk, bathe, swim, and do pretty much whatever it is your animal needs. I am comfortable with all ages, sizes and breeds. If needed, I can administer medicines. I am available days , weeknights and weekends at all times. I have had my own dogs and other pets since I was 7 years old, so I am hoping that I can care for your pets the way that I have always cared for my own. Pet care is part of my everyday routine. I’m used to morning and evening walks, feeding on a schedule, meds when needed, and plenty of playtime and snuggles built into my day. I plan my errands and social stuff around animals being let out, fed, and comfortable, so adding your pets into that rhythm feels really natural for me. About: What makes me special? Everything!!! A dog has always been a family member since I can remember. Thank God for loving parents who believed in bringing all kinds of pets in our home. We had birds, hamsters, and even the occasional snake or frog from the yard! There is a certain bond you get from a dog that you cannot get from any other animal, though...and I am lucky enough to have experienced that. My parents are proud owners of a rescue cat, and my sister's family has 3 kitties in their happy home!! They also have a sweet little gerbil that has somehow survived all of those felines! You can definitely tell we are a family of animal lovers!!! Since February 2017, my family "farm" has grown. I raised 21 babychicks from a day old...8 of which were ours, the rest for 2 other families...then we added 3 more, barely mature, hens and a rooster to our flock. It has definitely been a fun and wonderful learning experience! I have a wonderful rescued Pit, Buddy! We raised those chicks with Buddy around...so he is great with them! It's pretty amazing!!! (Oh...and just to clarify...Buddy will stay home during any visits/stays with your pet(s). That way you'll know your baby/babies are receiving the full attention they deserve!) Buddy is probably the most spoiled dog in the world because I make practically everything for him, from his shampoos (using essential oils) to his treats. He does get the dental treats at least once a day, but other than that...he's a gourmet doggie! I am a stay-at-home pup Mom...so on the 24 hour overnight visits with me, I'll only need to leave a couple of times during the day to take Buddy out to play, etc....he'll be with his Dad all night. Otherwise, I'm all yours, so if you need someone there to take your baby out literally every 2 hours or less, I can do it!! :-) I do Daycare a little different than Rover does...I only offer daycare in your home. I feel this is the best way to keep your pets in a place they feel super comfortable & with a sitter who will keep them happy, healthy and on their schedule completely. I will always keep you up to date on how your pet or pets are doing and will send you plenty of pictures if you wish! Extras services available: Baths with or w/o essential oils, Homemade bath soap with essential oils to-go (made with any requested oils from list), Doggie bag of treats to-go (made to your pet's dietary needs.) I have numerous flours available to meet any digestive issues. - No preservatives & human-grade (though some flavors may not suit human's taste buds!) About: I grew up taking care of my family dog that we had for 13 wonderful years. I have been dog sitting for many years and have also volunteered at animal shelters in the past. My partner and I own a home in Hillsborough, where we have a large, fenced-in yard for our own pups, Reggie and Echo, to enjoy. Reggie is excitable and has a loud voice, and though he doesn't always know how to contain that energy, he's a lovebug who just wants to play with anyone and everyone. We've had a number of dogs here to stay with us, including a 12-week-old puppy, and he loves them all! We recently got him a little sister, Echo. After a 2-hour adjustment period, they were fast friends and snuggling as they napped! She's also a sweetheart and is working on learning good manners. Reggie and Echo spend most of their time traipsing around the back yard and napping in the sun. I work from home, so your dog can get plenty of supervised playtime! I can also send plenty of pictures during your little one's stay if you'd like! Let me care for your sweet pup when you are away from home! I work from home full time, so your dog and mine will have plenty of supervised care and time to play and explore the backyard! We live on an acre, and the back half is completely fenced in with a 5 ft fence to keep all pups safe and contained!
About: I’ve had animals of many kinds from tiny to huge growing up. I’d normally house sit for family and friends until I decided to join the Rover crew. Meet and Greets: Scheduled meetings BEFORE desired sitting dates; I come to your home to get to know you, your fur babies, and the required schedule/rules. (I leave this up to the client's preference but I usually recommend it!) (CAN provide services before/after hours when requested!!) *AFTER August 10th, all services will be unavailable until December as I return to school outside of the area. Please do NOT book past August 10th.* Thanks so much for understanding! ☺️ As I previously mentioned, I have two dogs (both Jack Russells) of my own that are 2 and 8 years old. I strive to maintain a clean space and comfortable for my pets where they can relax and follow their usual routines with no worries. I maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide daily exercise and playtime, and ensure their safety by always supervising. They have designated rest areas (although I do allow animals on furniture), plenty of enrichment activities/toys, and lots of affection of course! I also have a large yard where my dogs love to run around and play with toys (when outside, they are always supervised) and a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks! I am always keeping my eyes on them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners during each visit. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.

About: Hi! My name is Kellie and I live in Waterstone Estates in Hillsborough. I have a lot of experience with dog walking and pet sitting. I have two dogs - a Maltese who is now 16 and a Pomeranian mix who I adopted who is now 13! I also have a cat that belongs to my sister that I am currently taking care of. I love animals and always have. I am very comfortable with pets of all sizes. I especially love taking dogs on walks! I am open to pet walking and drop in visits at any time during the day. My schedule is wide open, as I am not currently working! About: I love playing with and caring for animals. I know it’s hard to be there for your pet at all times, so I would love to help you with your needs. I love to play, walk, bathe, swim, and do pretty much whatever it is your animal needs. I am comfortable with all ages, sizes and breeds. If needed, I can administer medicines. I am available days , weeknights and weekends at all times. I have had my own dogs and other pets since I was 7 years old, so I am hoping that I can care for your pets the way that I have always cared for my own. Pet care is part of my everyday routine. I’m used to morning and evening walks, feeding on a schedule, meds when needed, and plenty of playtime and snuggles built into my day. I plan my errands and social stuff around animals being let out, fed, and comfortable, so adding your pets into that rhythm feels really natural for me. When I’m in a pet’s home, I stick to their normal routine as closely as possible – same feeding schedule, walk times, and sleeping spots. I do regular check-ins for food, water, potty breaks, and meds if needed, and I always build in playtime and cuddles so they’re not just ‘being watched,’ they’re actually getting attention. I keep the home tidy, follow any house rules you leave, and send photo updates so you can see how they’re doing while you’re away.
About: I have many years of experience with working with animals - whether its with my own or in a professional setting. I am not limited to the animals I can care for. I have worked for a boarding/doggie day care for 2+ years that required me to take care of all different sizes and breeds of dogs. I also have 3 fur babies myself - Penelope, Bear, and Chewbacca ( AKA Chewy) So, I can assure you the best care for your fur baby! My availability would be in the morning before 7:00am and the evening time after 5:00 pm I currently have a full-time job but do plan on doing Rover/Pet Sitting full-time in the near future! So stay tuned!! To ensure the safety of your fur baby- If they are at my home I have a designated area in my home with a dog gate that can separate your fur baby from mine if needed. Also, ask for all Vet info - just to have on file.
About: I've had animals ever since I can remember. Big, small, smaller, just about anything you can think of I've had. I take pride in making sure all animals around me are happy and cared for. I can care for dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, and any small animal from hamsters to bunnies. I'm currently searching for a part-time job, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your animals. I love to be around animals, more than people. So, I've got time to take long walks and excellent care of all your animals. I always take my pups out on a leash. They are trained to go into their crates when we leave. All of my animals get plenty of exercise, lots of toys, and all my love. About: I’ve always lived with animals. I’ve had cats and dogs, I also have worked with horses! I’ve taken care of cats, dogs, horses and chickens. I have a full time job as a teacher, so summers I’m the most available! During the summer, I can pet sit as long as you need! I can easily crate your dog if needed. A fenced in backyard is perfect for your pet to roam while we play outside! I’m able to operate an automatic feeder and water.
