About: I’ve had cats since I was a little girl. My first cat Tiger was my best friend growing up. Now I have my own fur baby, Copper. I’ve taken care of family and friends cats numerous times, even as young as four weeks old. I can give oral medications, baths, trim nails, keep litter boxes clean and can manually stimulate newborn kittens to use the bathroom.
About: I've taken care of my own pets and many of the pets of family, friends, and neighbors for over twenty years. I also have a service dog who I've trained mostly on my own, with refinement help from a professional, so you can feel confident that your fur family will receive exceptional care and attention from a patient and knowledgeable handler. I have an open and flexible schedule every day of the week, so it shouldn't be difficult to match what you need for your pet(s)! I have a 4yo poodle service dog who would only need to be with me for overnight stays or if your dog(s) would like a mid day playmate. He's incredibly sociable and energetic when off duty. Either together or solo, I will make sure to follow any routines or specific instructions we discuss and care for your fur family as if they were my own.

Dawn even checked my mail and watered my plants while she was here! I highly recommend her and will be using her again!”

“Alyeska was a natural with our two boys. They are normally mad when we come back from a trip but they barely registered our return this time. It was clear their physical and emotional needs had been well taken care of. She also send us videos each day at our request, which not all sitters will do, my husband really misses the cats when we are away and these videos get him through. Also she took in packages for us we had forgotten were coming. Excellent communicator and we appreciated how consistent her timing was each day.”

“Kim was fabulous! She did drop in visits for our two cats while we were out of town for 10 days and it was such a relief to have her. We will definitely book with her in the future!”

I am very accustomed to dogs with behavior issues and bad anxiety because my own dog struggles with that. I can also handle both small and large dogs. I would love to bring your dogs on nearby trails or stick to easy walks based on the dogs energy levels. I do stay overnight and house sit if requested. I’m currently working part time (short hours 2 days a week) so i’ll have plenty of time to play with and look after your pups! I absolutely adore both dogs and cats and know how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family members. I’m here to provide a loving and safe environment for your pets, whether you need dog boarding or daycare. With years of hands-on experience and a passion for animals, I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own. Your pets receive dedicated attention, love and care in a flexible schdule. I take your dog out every 2 hours. I will follow your feeding schedule so they can eat the same time every day. About: What sets me apart is that I’m not just a pet lover. I’m a vet student in the making. Caring for animals isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s part of my future career. I take the time to really get to know each pet’s personality and needs, whether that’s helping a puppy burn off energy and learn basic manners, or giving a senior pet the extra patience, comfort, and gentle care they deserve. Because I’m passionate about animal health, I pay close attention to things like eating habits, energy levels, and behavior changes, so I can spot if something seems off and communicate that to owners right away. I’m also comfortable handling a variety of breeds, temperaments, and special needs.nFor me, pet sitting isn’t just “watching” animals it’s making sure they’re safe, happy, and thriving, while giving owners peace of mind that their pets are in caring, capable hands. Pet care is something I fit naturally into my day. My mornings usually start with feeding, fresh water, and a walk or some playtime to make sure pets start the day happy and active. If I have classes, I plan my schedule so I can come by for potty breaks, belly rubs, and some one on one time in between. In the evenings, I love taking longer walks, heading to a park, or just spending time playing or relaxing together. Weekends are perfect for extra adventures like exploring trails, visiting pet-friendly spots, or giving them some extra grooming and attention. For me, pets aren’t something I try to “fit in” around my day they’re part of it. I love making sure they get the care, attention, and love they need, no matter how busy my schedule gets. Whether in my own home or in a client’s home, my priority is to create a safe, comfortable, and nurturing environment for pets. I pay close attention to a pet’s personality, habits, and routines so I can adapt my care to their comfort level, whether that means providing a quiet, calm environment for shy pets or engaging in active play for more energetic ones. I also make it a point to send regular updates, photos, and notes to owners so they feel reassured and connected while they’re away. In my own home, I designate safe areas for rest, play, and meals, and I make sure fresh water is always available. In a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions closely everything from where the pet sleeps to how they like their walks so the pet’s routine is not disrupted. My goal is for every pet to feel secure, cared for, and happy, no matter the environment.
“Rachel is a super star sitter! She watched Shasta all day for 3 days while I was in Raleigh working from out of town. My pup Shasta loves her. Normally he doesn’t want to leave me but he walked off happily with Rachel from my hotel where she kindly met us every morning and evening for drop off. Rachel’s communicative and easy to work with. Highly recommend.”

“Athena was in her element - running, playing, and enjoying the companionship of her canine relatives! What a special day and place for Athena to spend time being a ‘puppy’ with such joy. Thank you Melissa”
“Skirla (aka Sorel) is great! Sushi normally barks and growls at everyone but not her! I feel comfortable leaving my baby with her for my week long vacation and will book again when the need arises.”

About: I've taken care of raising my kids in a pet-friendly environment for many years that stems from a childhood of taking every stray pet I could get past my mom. I have best friends in the pet rescue business as well as pet transport. All of our pets have been considered family all the way through their lives. I cherish any pet like I gave birth to them and have instilled that in my kids, grandkids, and anyone I could embark on having that conversation with. The majority of the photos you see in my profile are my grand-fur-babies as well as our forever family members that started out as rescues that are still present in our lives by moving on with my daughter in her adult life. She is also on Rover in Colorado if you know or need pet lover's help out there. Since Covid devastated this nation and my business I have been in NC helping take care of my grandkids with my ex-son, I have now moved to Lake Royale in NC permanently to be closer to my grandkids. I am home every day and have an open loving schedule to share the love I am full of for anything that comes my way. God is so Good! I have an open welcoming loving heart, a knack for customer service, and strive for attention to detail. Our home is warm, full of love, and ready to keep your fur babies safe, spoiled, and content. Unfortunately, I do not have a fenced yard but I am in a safe community, have a large yard, and would never walk/let your fur baby out without a proper safety harness and leash. My schedule is flexible since I am retired. My love for animals is why I love being able to use this platform. I use River when I go visit my grandkids 3 times a year. I live the Lake Royale community so have gate access. I live full time in my 38 foot Class A Motorhome until my cottage is done being built. I am a stickler about ensuring your pet is on leash when outdoors. while indoors as long as other clients pets are friendly and willing pets will be able to roam freely. Crates are recommended for overnight stays or if pets will not get along.

About: I was adopted by my first cat in 2000 and have dog-and cat-sat for friends and co-workers ever since. Having moved to a farm 3 years ago, I’ve also cared for our neighbor’s horses, chickens, and guinea fowl. In general, I respect all pets' boundaries and love to find their individual personalities. I have a lot of experience with various temperaments and personalities, and am sensitive to the needs and quirks of every animal I meet. I've bottle-fed newborns, given oral medications (pills and liquid), applied topical ointments, and given fluid injections to cats with renal failure. I'll honor any preferences you have for caring for your cats (e.g., feeding times, fresh water daily, etc.). My wife and I have rescued and fostered cats for the last 10 years, so I’m familiar with a variety of health issues and quirky behaviors. And I scoop litters! At the moment I work remotely from home, so I can flex my schedule around any specific times you may need. Driving long distance is not a deal-breaker for me. Most of our cats are indoors but have access to a fenced-in portion of the back yard. We feed them wet food twice a day (morning and night) and snack them with dry food throughout the day. Each one gets playtime throughout the day, and the only "rules" are no cats on the kitchen counters. People have told us that when they die, they hope to come back as a cat we take care of. Given the number of cats we have, I'm unable to board any pets.

“Cheryl is 10+/10. She is accepting and the BEST in caring for my deaf sweet, sometimes determined Jack Russell mix who has her own mind. We were truly blessed when Cheryl came into our lives.”

About: I’ve had all kinds of pets my whole life from chinchillas, birds, huskies, cats and now mom to two pitbulls. I can handle all types of pets except reptiles. I am a stay at home mom seeking some extra money by pet sitting and dog walking. I raised my youngest pitbull since she was 4 weeks old. I believe in treating pets as part of the family. I have an extremely flexible schedule. My family and I live in Louisburg so I’m looking to find pets to care for relatively close by which will allow me to offer more walks and visits per day. I am excited about this new opportunity and look forward to meeting all your wonderful dogs, cats and other furry friends! I am a stay at home mom and manage the family tree service NC Tree Specialist LLC. I love animals and can’t wait to take care of yours. I am very responsible and will treat your babies just like my own. They will be safe and treated with kindness and respect when they are in my care.
“Eden was just what we needed to help cover a gap in our schedules. Our dog Carson is strong-willed and strong bodied at 40lbs of solid muscle. Eden had no problem handling both aspects. Carson walked further for longer and put herself straight to bed from exhaustion every night. She truly enjoyed her walks with Eden almost more than she enjoys walking with us! That speaks volumes for Eden’s care and skill in giving our girl the quality exploration and exercise time she needs. Will definitely use Eden again for future needs.”

“Mary is absolutely amazing. She took care of both our dogs for an entire week while we were out of town. She was always punctual and always stayed the entire 30 minutes. She provided us with details of the visit everytime and always sent us pictures”

About: What sets me apart is my calm, patient approach and genuine love for all animals. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routine, and comfort level—whether they’re energetic, shy, senior, or still learning. I’m attentive on walks, gentle during sitting, and always focused on safety, consistency, and positive interactions. I’m especially mindful with senior pets who may need slower walks, extra comfort, or medication reminders, and I’m patient with puppies who are still learning routines and leash manners. About: While your pets are in my care, they will be treated as if they were my own. I will assist you in training your puppy to master the basic commands: sit, stay, and come. I am retired so your pet care is my first responsibility. During the summer, I will walk in the morning with potty breaks in the afternoon if it's too hot. During winter, if the weather doesn't permit driving, I will contact you and ensure that as soon as I can drive, I will be there to give your pet much-needed potty breaks and playtime. For more detailed availability, please see my public calendar https://calendar.app.google/1EpS26QNofEFAmsH7 Your pet's safety is my #1 concern. With that in mind, I will only walk when the weather permits. I will give them time to take care of their business and plenty of play time when the weather does not permit a walk.
