“I can't say enough positive things about my and my pup's experience with Brad. 1. Booking/Communication - From the initial booking, Brad was communicative and responsive ensuring that I would feel comfortable even before I dropped my pup off. 2. Drop off - At drop-off, Brad was extremely attentive to understand the unique needs of my pup especially as it pertained to his medication. In my moving around, I forgot to bring something my pup needed. Brad was extremely helpful in getting it resolved so that my pup's stay would be just fine. Additionally, Brad went out of his way to ask how, and what frequency, I wanted to be updated on my pup's stay. 3. Stay - My pup had a fantastic time staying with Brad and having pup siblings at Brad's house. I'm confident of this not only because, true to his word, Brad was not only communicative about what was going on each day (for the entire ~3wk stay), but he also sent pictures and videos with funny notes! I could see that my dog was active not only outside but inside the home, was playing well with the other dogs, and was being loved and snuggled daily. 4. Pick-up - The day of pick-up, my flight was delayed impacting my ability to pick-up my pup on time. Brad was completely understanding and was communicative to ensure that I had no worries. When I arrived to pick up my pup, all of the things I sent with my pup came home in great condition AND Brad sent me home with a treat that he had graciously been giving my pup as well! I could tell my pup was excited to go home but was sad to leave Brad and his new friends! Overall, we will DEFINITELY use Brad again and recommend him to anyone that is looking for someone to treat their pup like family when they have to go away. Thanks again, Brad!”

Our days already revolve around our own dog, Winston, so potty breaks, backyard time, playtime, meals, and lots of attention are part of our normal routine. We have a fenced-in backyard that makes it easy for the dogs to get outside frequently throughout the day, whether they want to play, explore, or just enjoy some fresh air. When your dog stays with us, we’ll do our best to keep them on the routine they’re used to at home—including feeding times, medications, bedtime routines, walks, and any special instructions you provide. We want their stay with us to feel like part of their normal life, just with a few new friends and a little extra spoiling! Your dog’s safety and comfort are always our top priorities. We have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time, and we never leave guest dogs outside unattended. We take introductions with our dog, Winston, slowly and supervise interactions so everyone has time to get comfortable with one another. We understand that not every dog wants to play or be social all the time, so we’re happy to provide separate spaces when someone needs a little quiet time to relax and decompress. We also have crates available if your dog is crate-trained and feels most comfortable having their own familiar space. Inside our home, dogs are treated like part of the family. They’re welcome to relax with us, play, snuggle, and settle in just like they would at home. We follow each owner’s instructions closely when it comes to feeding, medications, potty schedules, walks, sleeping arrangements, and household rules so we can keep your dog’s routine as familiar as possible. We also believe trust means keeping you in the loop. You can expect regular updates and plenty of photos during your dog’s stay, and we’ll always reach out if we have a question or notice anything unusual. About: Growing up, my family always had dogs. Once our children started playing high school and college sports, we became too busy to have a dog of our own. For the past several years, we have taken family and friends dogs for long weekends, week-long stays...whatever we could do to get our "dog fix". It was a win for us and a win for our family and friends. My wife and I take lots of walks in the Charlotte area and we always love to stop and pet friendly dogs! I have kept some clients from my time at Happy Dog and still petsit for them, my friends and family regularly. Typically every other week or a few times a month. I have a collection of dog toys and keep food and treats stocked in-home. If pet parents allow, I will let their dog play with my family's dogs, daily walks around the neighborhood or local parks and a comfortable environment. These also apply for house visits and any activity or request made by pet parents will be followed.

We currently work from home and with the extra time we have we love exploring work with animals. Together we've had 3 dogs growing up and cared for them for 10+ years. This established our love for pets. We believe in having clear communication with you in order to establish the best way to care for your pets. No matter your needs your fur baby will be in good hands and treated as if they were our own. We're currently working from home so our schedule is very flexible. Weekends are also super flexible and I can be available whenever for you. :) We live in a house with a .8 acre lot so we have plenty of room for your dog or cat to explore! I’m available full time since working from home. We’ll go on plenty of walks throughout the day and with parents permission, enjoy lots of treats! We take our doodle on walks/runs 4 times a day so your fur baby will have the same amount of walks each day, unless told otherwise :)

We have a fully fenced backyard where dogs can enjoy plenty of supervised outdoor time, and we never leave guest dogs outside unattended. We take introductions with our dog, Winston, slowly and supervise interactions so everyone has time to get comfortable with one another. We understand that not every dog wants to play or be social all the time, so we’re happy to provide separate spaces when someone needs a little quiet time to relax and decompress. We also have crates available if your dog is crate-trained and feels most comfortable having their own familiar space. Inside our home, dogs are treated like part of the family. They’re welcome to relax with us, play, snuggle, and settle in just like they would at home. We follow each owner’s instructions closely when it comes to feeding, medications, potty schedules, walks, sleeping arrangements, and household rules so we can keep your dog’s routine as familiar as possible. We also believe trust means keeping you in the loop. You can expect regular updates and plenty of photos during your dog’s stay, and we’ll always reach out if we have a question or notice anything unusual.
