Thank you again Mrs. Brooke for your time and effort for caring for our dogs we def recommend and will use her services again!!!”

“I recently hired Michelle to care for my dog, and it was an amazing experience! From our first meeting, it was clear that Michelle is a true dog lover. She took the time to understand my dog's needs, which made me feel at ease. Throughout the stay, Michelle provided excellent care, ensuring my dog received plenty of love, exercise, and attention. She sent regular updates and adorable photos, and videos showing that my dog was enjoying his time. I wholeheartedly recommend Michelle for anyone needing a caring dog sitter. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my dog!”

“Brittany has been great with my pups. I felt super comf with them staying with her and her family. It helps a lot that she has her pup with her, who's super extroverted and helped get my younger dog out of his shell. I strongly recommend her! I'm just bummed that she's moving away from me 😞”

“Lane is great! My dog was well taken care of while my family and I were on vacation for 1 week! Will be using Lane again in the future! Also the daily picture updates are a plus but very grateful for those pictures daily!”

“Beth was so good with my dog. It was a last minute booking and she was so incredibly accommodating. I am so appreciative of her and her gentle nature caring for my pup. She also fosters a dog and he and my dog got along well, and even tuckered my high energy border collie/aussie mix out. She was so intentional in caring for my dog that she was worried about keeping her clean after long play sessions in her fenced in yard that was muddy from the rain, and that means a lot. That somebody watching my dog would care enough to keep her clean. Thanks so much Beth, if I ever need a sitter again, I know where to turn.”

“Scarlett was absolutely amazing with our pups! Treated them so well! Updated us often with pictures, did great with the instructions given and adapted great on the fly when I forgot to tell her a few things beforehand. Will definitely bring my pups back again!”

“Buddy had a fantastic time with Karen and her little dogs. When Buddy went for his meet and greet, we immediately felt welcome and he seemed to quickly get along with the other little animals there. I appreciated Karen’s updates, photos and videos, and know that he was very well taken care of, while being boarded. Buddy looks forward to coming to play there again, thank you so much!”

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was a little girl. I am currently a full-time student at Appalachian State University studying Veterinary Technology. I am going to be entering my third year in the fall. I am looking to spend time with fur babies while I am completing school! I am currently a full-time student studying veterinary technology to become a licensed veterinary technician. My schedule is generally very flexible; on occasion I will have some classes where we meet online. I treat all animals as if they are my own. My animals are my children, and I will take care of yours the same way. I will have to say taking care of animals of all kinds is a true passion of mine. Which is why I have chosen this path for my career! I may have started a little later in life but better late than never I always say!

“Lawrence was such a great sitter! He communicated with us frequently, sent us pictures throughout our pup's stay, and kept our boy happy the entire time. I was very confident in Lawrence's ability to watch our dog and you can tell he is quite experienced and comfortable with big dogs. I will definitely be using him in the future!”
“Bryanna was amazing with our dog! She was very communicative throughout the entire process, beginning with a meet & greet all the way through the week stay. She asked a lot of questions during the meet & greet to make sure she knew our dog’s needs well, and that was very reassuring. We received daily updates and photos, and our dog looked so happy in them. We definitely plan to use Bryanna again!”

“Flower enjoyed her weekend with Donald! She was well taken care of and loved while we were gone. Drop off and pick-up were easy! Donald also sent several pictures of Flower while in his care and was easy to get in touch with while we were gone. We appreciated his care of Flower and will definitely use his services in the future!”

“Bethany genuinely cared for our dog and his special quirks. She’s understanding, helpful and very reassuring throughout the initial meeting process and during the dog sitting process. We will definitely leave our dog with her again!”

“We were attending a festival and found ourselves in a desperate situation. The Rover we had scheduled with way in advance had to back out because of personal issues. Jill accepted Monty with only one day notice. Her home is up on a hill and her land is a dog's paradise. Jill sent lots of pictures and was communicative...which completely eased our minds. I highly recommend Jill for pet care and saved her info so I can use her next time we come to the area!”

“We had never used a pet sitter from Rover before and were concerned about how a week long pet sitting would work out. Kathleen O was excellent. Our Bo was obviously well cared for. Kathleen sent us pictures showing Bo on different days. Thank you Kathleen!”

About: For the Love of Dogs Rescue has been taking care of dogs, cats, other assorted animals for 29 years. I train dogs to be Service and Assistance dogs for our veterans and special needs families in our local community. I love all Animals, especially Dogs and Horses. I personally have German Shepherds. I have yet to meet an animal that did not either take a liking to me instantly or come to trust me over time. Some are that broke and have been failed so horribly, my heart weeps for them. I ONLY use fear-free, marker-based positive reinforcement training methods. I am a disabled veteran myself and working with dogs is a labor of love for me. I am professional, polite, patient, and understanding. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s) or other animals and making new friends. Because of COVID and being a disabled vet, I am currently only training dogs, and Horses on special occasions. COVID has made our rescue efforts difficult as my rescue runs on a foster home model. What that means for you is that I have plenty of time to care for your dog(s) and other animals. I do have personal worship time on Sunday mornings and Tuesday evenings. These can be done anywhere as we are utilizing zoom for our meetings. In your home, I will endeavor to keep their normal routine except adding playtime if it's appropriate for your dog(s), cat or other animals. I am flexible and will always have your animal's best interest at heart. We may even learn a thing or two together. If at my home, your dog will be inside my home with our family. I have a fenced-in yard for outside play and necessities. I have a doggie door (which I can train your dog to use, or we can close it off and utilize your current method for outside necessities). I can crate in XL crates if preferred or medically necessary. Every dog and home is different. When house sitting/dog or animal sitting, I will follow your instructions. If any of these happen to be in opposition to my methods, I will discuss them with you upfront so that we are both in agreement. I love all animals, especially our canine companions of this world. I would be honored to be considered as your dog nanny, caregiver , house sitter, Animal attendant or whatever name you are comfortable with for me to care for your animals while you are away. Feel free to contact me and schedule a meet and greet. I look forward to meeting you and your animal family members. Humans may think my humor is off beat but the animals seem to love it. My rescue efforts have been impacted due to COVID, so I have a lot of extra time to spend focusing on the needs of other animals by offering Animal Nanny services, house sitting, animal sitting, dog walking, horse exercising, drop in visits to ensure fresh food and water is available, maintaince medications are administered, potty breaks are given, etc. Anything that is needed on a drop by visit basis. I offer an exceptional Dog Nanny service or Animal Nanny if you prefer. I strive to provide your furry companions with so much love and attention that they hardly notice that you are away. I love taking client dogs to the "DogWorld dog park" in Kannapolis, NC. DogWorld is a one-of-a-kind dog park!! The 17-acre property features an Olympic size swimming pool, two water slides, an 18-hole obstacle course, natural pond, rolling hills, a beautiful creek, and 12+ acres of fenced-in play space!! It also has a Doggie Concession stand for a Pup Cone (dog appropriate version of ice cream cones) Please visit Dogworld dog park on the web for more details. They offer single day passes, monthly passes and yearly memberships at very reasonable prices. The screening process is easy (every dog is evaluated for their temprement, play style and social skills and assigned a color coded collar band). There are monitors throughout the park to help ensure fun, safe play for everyone. the rest is pure FUN for the dogs. I can also help to get the 1st time evaluation completed if your schedule needs a little help. The park is open year round excluding some holidays. Please refer to their web page for complete details. I treat every animal with kindness, love, compassion and understanding. My approach is always based in science and experience. I have cared for just about every type of dog in a myriad of situations, good and bad. Typically the dogs that already have a loving home are pretty easy to figure out. Their basic needs are usually met so any issues going on are not too hard to figure out. I treat every dog as if it were my own. I am a dog lover and truly enjoy watching, caring for and finding ways to enrich their lives and making things easier for them while their family members are away. It can be stressful on animals when their family members are away. Some notice a 5 minute absence, other maybe a day or so, but all miss their normal routine. I try to provide activities, learning, playing, cuddling, grooming, etc. In an effort to help the animals relax, enjoy their time and make your absence less stressful for your animal. I am retired and most of my extra time involves animals and their care. I am a grandmother and think of the animals much the same as children (just the four legged and furry variety.) I have a fenced in yard with doggie door access. I can teach your dog to use the door at their convenience or I can set structured potty breaks depending on your preferences. I will always try to maintain as much of your normal activities to help minimize your absence and the changes.

Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, medications, or simply providing companionship, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own. I’m dependable, trustworthy, detail-oriented, and committed to giving you peace of mind while you’re away. My days are structured, active, and centered around providing dependable care. I have a flexible schedule on Thursdays, Fridays and the weekends. I make it a priority to give every pet the love, attention, and exercise they deserve. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, feeding, medication, or simply someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I’m happy to follow your instructions to help them feel comfortable in their own home. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can relax knowing your furry family member is happy and in good hands. I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in their familiar environment, so I focus on providing loving, dependable care in your home. I carefully follow your pet’s normal routine, including feeding, fresh water, walks, potty breaks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of affection. I take the time to get to know each pet’s personality so they feel comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I also respect your home, keep everything clean and secure, and provide regular updates with photos so you can enjoy peace of mind knowing your pet is in caring hands.

About: I can provide dog walking services or visits for your fur babes! I have a fully fenced in privacy back yard with lots of room to explore! I am located conveniently in the downtown area of Statesville right of the I-77 and I-40 exchange. I look forward to offering a fun, safe, stress-free and exciting experience for your furry family member. Please let me know of any specific dietary restrictions your pet might have so that I am able to accommodate. Thanks so much!
About: I LOVE animals. I was raised around animals from babies to adults so I am familiar with the processes from raising a baby to an elderly animal (cats, dogs, cows, horses, etc.) I have also volunteered at several animal shelters. I am currently raising two sweet pups of my own, Luna and Ranger. I have trained all of my animals and I’m extremely patient. I also know ASL, if needed to communicate. I am a full-time interpreter, but working with animals calms my stress. I understand situations come up, so I am extremely flexible. The world is a better place because of the animals in it, so it is important to me that they are treated as such. I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies!
“Melanie is wonderful with the animals. She is kind, caring and very flexible in meeting their needs. My situation is a little complex at the moment and Melanie put us all at ease to help look after all the animals at a last minute request. Highly recommend!”

I prioritize safety, comfort, and personalized attention, ensuring each furry client receives nurturing and enriching experiences. My commitment to fostering strong bonds and creating positive, memorable interactions sets me apart as a compassionate and trusted caregiver at Rover. I am retired and looking for walking activities to keep me busy with the things I enjoy the most, PETS!! I love being around them as much as possible. When caring for pets in my client's home, I prioritize their comfort, well-being, and adherence to any specific routines or instructions provided by the owner. Here’s how I approach different pet care services: Dog Sitting: Daily Routine: I maintain the dog's regular feeding schedule, ensuring they have access to fresh water at all times. Exercise and Play: I engage the dog in activities they enjoy, such as walks, playtime, and mental stimulation to keep them active and happy. Comfort: I provide cozy resting areas and ensure the environment is safe and secure. Medication: If required, I administer medications according to the owner's instructions. I have two furbabies of my own, a guinea pig named Tatiana, and a spoiled rotten but adorable mutt named Sora. I promise hou that I will love your pets too! I have an open schedule for looking after your pet. I am more than happy to do morning and mid-day walks, visits, and feedings. I am unable to do late-night visits at this time. (After 8pm) I hold myself to a very high standard for looking after your pet. I will treat your pet and your home with the utmost respect.
About: Have ran a small farm before. Many dogs and cats and goats chickens. Enjoy and find it peaceful to be around animals of all types I currently have Tuesday through Friday off and would like to make some extra money on my own schedule time Unavailable Saturday through Monday. As I work my full time job I can easily crate and walk your pet when needed and watch over it. When outside they will be on a lease and with me at all times
About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life. Now that I’m older I’ve had plenty experience caring for them whether that be pet sitting for friends and family or in my line of work. Something that will set me apart from other sitters you may come across is my experience working at a kennel. This includes specifically working with service dogs, boarding pets, and k9 working. I’ve worked with a variety of dog breeds, ages and behaviors, meaning I can cater to whatever your pets needs :) Since I work as a kennel technician, being with and caring for animals is practically second nature to me. Being able to pet sit would be right up my alley and perfect for the experience I have. Your pet is 100% guaranteed to get the best care I can provide. To list a few this includes always having fresh water, appropriate exercise, meals according to their routine, cleaning up any messes, administering any medication and of course lots of attention. Pet behavior will also be monitored and you will receive ample updates on anything and everything going on with your fur baby.
About: I have worked in the veterinary industry for 10+ years, and have personal experience caring for senior pets, puppies/kittens, birds, and even rats and other small mammals. I would be honored to watch your pet while you have to be away. There are only very few irrational requests - it is my goal to be accommodating to what your pet is used to! Currently, pet care is my sole source of income and caring for, walking, feeding, bathing, snuggling, and playing with your pets is my full-time job! I will treat your pets as if they were my own. I have a dog and 3 cats who are my world - it is hard to entrust them with anyone else and I imagine this is true for you as well. I hope to earn both the trust and respect of both you and your pets!

“Justin is great to work with! He is very communicative about our pup each day! Also appreciate the extra effort he puts in with our pup who is anxious and adjusting to our new home currently! Would absolutely recommend him!”

“Mrs. Brooke and her family are just phenomenal!!! The care and love they given our fur babies while we were away was just incredible. Mrs. Brooke kept us posted and sent updated pictures Highly recommend!!!! Thank you again Mrs. Brooke for your time and effort for caring for our dogs we def recommend and will use her services again!!!”

About: I have spent my entire adult life with dogs & love them dearly. My 2 dogs love to play with other dogs as well as each other. I am a retired stay at home widow who loves dogs. About: Picture this: you love your working breed dog... but they can be a boarder's nightmare. Does it make you nervous that they won't get enough stimulation while you're away? You can rest assured dogs with me will get 2-3 miles of trails a day along with 2+ hours (more on weekends!) of supervised play time with an equally energetic husky. Along with structured crate time to decompress. I've dealt with the worst of leash pullers and have trained my own dogs with high expectations of good behavior. You don't have to worry about your pup loosing manners or reverting to bad behaviors while you're away! I can reinforce proper training while he/she enjoys vacation at a beautiful hideaway with miles of private woods, right on the lake for some water play when it's hot! Your pet's schedule: 7-9am: breakfast! 1-2 miles of trails 9-12pm: crate time with options of mental stimulation toys and food toys 12-1pm: potty break and inside or outside supervised play time with my dog 1-5pm: crate time 5pm: dinner time and evening walks 6pm-bedtime: supervised time around the house, options to interact with other pets, myself, household members. Bedtime: crate or bed if they prefer Note: this is based on my regular daily work schedule for weekdays and weekends. Some flexibility on time frames, excersize amounts, etc are possible. Just ask and let's see if can work something out! I have a high focus on making sure every animal gets adequate amounts of physical and mental stimulation. If your dog has needs outside of what I have listed, let's have a conversation! Crating is required while I or my husband is not in the house. Your dog will be crated in a low stimulation environment away from other animals for proper decompression time. And will never be longer than 4 hours during the day.
About: Hello! My name is Keri, I have had pets my whole life, including shelter rescues and fosters. I am experienced with dogs of all sizes and a large selection of breeds. As a pet owner myself, I want to know that my dogs are happy and most importantly, safe! As some pups (or pet parents) can become stressed or anxious with strangers, I will go the extra mile to ensure their comfort! Pet parents can be assured to receive lots of photos while their pup is in my care. I have worked in the medical field for 8 years, but my love for pets has started a journey to pet sitting. I have plenty of time to care for and play with your pups! My schedule can be very flexible, and I am home most of the time, occasionally in the office nearby. I live in a quiet neighborhood in a new spacious home with lots of room for your babies. As I currently do not have a fenced in yard, your baby can play inside & outside, and go for walks! I treat your pups as if they were my own. Interacting with pets by giving them lots of love and attention. Pups are allowed on furniture and most all areas of our home. Each pup will be walked and fed on schedule. Special diets and oral medications can be administered if needed.
