Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. For house sitting, my standard rate covers overnight care with normal daytime absences. I stay overnight and am out during the day, with potty breaks as indicated, plus meals and playtime. Some pets need more than that. Puppies, seniors, pets on medication, and dogs with separation anxiety often do best with someone home nearly full time. Typically, we use some of the afternoon for calming & resting time if/when needed. This is also the time for specific needs & brushing. The doggies can go outside anytime they want to play or do their business. I have a large fenced in back yard specifically for the care & safety of my dogs and the dogs I am caring for in my home. This is a very safe place for the fur babies to spend supervised time in the shade or sun with a large covered veranda with fresh water available at all times. I live on many acres of farm land with very few neighbors. We have no children living near us at all.
