“Eric and his family were amazing! They took care of my 10 year old Brin. I was a little worried about my dog being around new friends but they insured me that she did fine. Thank you so much! Would recommend!”

“Highly recommend Ben and Shannon! This is such a nice family. We felt so comfortable leaving our two dogs and could tell they were in great hands. They kept us updated the entire stay and took great care of our two babies. They made sure to send us pictures the whole stay which included adorable photos of their kids walking our dogs and cuddling with them. They really treated them like family. Our dogs were in the best care there and so loved! My husband and I kept joking that they may not want to come home haha. We will defintely book again!”

“Cooper had a great time during his stay! We felt very comfortable leaving him here during the week and will definitely be booking again the next time we are out of town!”

“Lauren had great communication before and during. Thankful she was able to accommodate our last minute request. Highly recommend lauren. Thank you again and have a blessed holiday.”

“10/10, couldn’t be happier or more grateful with John and Zena’s level of love and care for our rat terrier, Luna. Luna is a high energy, sometimes high maintenance dog who has a history nipping people and other dogs, so we were nervous about using Rover. John clearly is a seasoned vet when it comes to dogs, as Luna was quickly smitten by him. His 3 pups were equally kind and welcoming of our little Luna. Very grateful to have peace of mind we can travel and know our dog is enjoying her own vacation and John and Zenas house! John, Zena and her 3 dogs are Luna’s new best friends!”

“They have a nice clean environment with a backyard for play. When I picked up my pup he was in good spirits. I would definitely use Christie again. Great people!”
“Cherry was wonderful! She provided tons of videos and photos of my two pups! Even with crazy travel issues, she was able to keep my dogs for longer than originally planned and gave me peace of mind as I navigated travel delays! Highly recommend her for watching your pets!”

“María and Mathew were great with taking care of ares, i constantly got updates and pictures while they took care of him and he looked happy the whole time, i would recommend them as dog sitters 😁”

“We've been using Jenn for over a year now, and every experience has been absolutely wonderful. She takes such great care of our dogs, they always come home happy, relaxed, and clearly well-loved. Jenn goes above and beyond with regular updates and tons of adorable photos, which gives us so much peace of mind while we're away. We feel incredibly lucky to have found someone so dependable, kind, and attentive. Jenn is truly an amazing sitter and we wouldn’t trust anyone else with our dogs!”

“Cassandra & Tradd have watched my sweet girl a couple times now and they have been amazing every time! My pup loves it over there and I get updates every day. Will continue to book with this lovely family. 🥰”

“Tina was wonderful with my puppy. He had a ball with the other dogs there, she made sure to keep me updated with pictures while we were away. Her home is spotless and fresh with areas designated for your dog to feel at home. My puppy is about 4 months old and has some separation anxiety when no one is around. Tina made my baby feel safe, secure, and close when he needed it the most. We will be booking with her again!”

“Amber and Dane were great! Super communicative, they sent tons of photos and updates. It made us feel so reassured that Winnie was in excellent care. Winnie can be shy, but it’s clear that she loved playing with their kids and enjoyed her stay there. Would definitely use them again!”

“Katja watch our labradoodle for 5 days and she kept me updated with pictures and text daily. I can tell he had an amazing time because he has been super pouty since he’s been home and he was sad to leave. I would 100% recommend her to anyone that is looking for a pet sitter in the Virginia Beach area!”

“Kathleen is truly a gem! I cannot recommend Kathleen enough as a dog-sitter. From the moment we met, I felt completely at ease leaving my fur baby in her care. She’s reliable, caring, and genuinely loves animals—which shows in every interaction. Kathleen took the time to get to know my dog’s personality, quirks, and routines, and kept me updated with adorable photos and messages while I was away.”

“My dog, Sky (an Aussie Doodle), spent 4 nights with Nicole and seems to have enjoyed it very much. When I picked her up, she was just as happy as can be and washed clean. I would recommend Nicole to anyone and I will not hesitate to contact her again in the future.”

“I highly recommend Eugene to anyone looking for a reliable, trustworthy, professional and loving sitter. Eugene left a remarkable first impression and my pup instantly felt at home. He’s attentive to your dog’s needs, provides long walks and ensure that your fur baby gets their exercise/play time. I really appreciate the communication and daily updates with photos. Will book again!”

“Wendy was so great!!! I felt 100% comfy leaving my Ellie boo with her. She sent me sweet cuddling pictures while we were away and took the best care of our girl. She was loved on like family, no doubt about that. EXTRA thankful for her help getting in/out at pickup while I was SOLO in the weather🤣 the sweetest human. We will def be using Wendy in the future. 10/10 recommend!!”

About: Hey! I am currently in school to be a vet! I can walk dogs 24/7 and give them all the loving! This would be a great way for me to expand my jobs with watching your dogs! I usually am up by 8am and spend most of the day with my dog while I do schooling at home. I’m mostly free of the day besides for leaving for work or getting my brother! I have a small dog who I feed, walk & play with. We do have a dog run in my apartments and I always take my dog out to play with his toys. I also love taking him for runs.

I am currently working in the veterinary field as kennel technician and go to school to become a Licensed veterinary technician. I know how to give toe nail trims on both cats and dogs. I enjoy working with animals everyday. I have had dogs in the past and large dogs do not scare me. I also work with cats as well. I can give medications as needed. My special skills include toe nail trims and giving medications. If needed I have the ability to pill when I have too. I enjoy taking dogs for long walks and sometimes hikes. I treat everyone’s house like it’s mine, very neat and clean and just how I like it.

About: I am a retired registered nurse with a special love for cats, especially seniors and those who need a little extra patience and gentle care. I have years of experience caring for my own cats as well as helping friends and neighbors with their cats while they travel. Because of my nursing background, I am very comfortable giving oral medications, insulin injections, eye drops, topical treatments, and monitoring for changes in appetite, hydration, litter box habits, and behavior. I understand how important routine is for cats and I take great care to keep their environment calm and consistent. I am experienced with shy, anxious, and senior cats who need a quiet presence and slow, respectful handling. I pay close attention to subtle changes and will always communicate updates so you feel at ease while you are away. My goal is to provide a peaceful, low-stress experience where your cat feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for in your absence.

About: I have always grown up taking care of animals. I have experience, dog and cat sitting. I now have a 2 month old puppy myself named Punkin. I go to school and work part time but I always make time for animals! I go to college and I work part time but I have plenty of time for animals! I have my own pup and I have plenty of love to give out!! I prioritize clear communication with the owner, understand the dog's needs and routine, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for the dog. Meeting the dog beforehand, if possible, and create a bond through familiar activities and toys.
About: Hello, I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, and turtles. For the past four years, I’ve mostly been house-sitting/taking care of a good neighbor/friend turtle who I love dearly. I’ve put her to bed and cleaned her cage, along with feeding her while sitting with her for 3+ hours most days. I’ve learned to care for pets as if they are my own and love all animals. :)) Pet care is a vital and seamless part of my daily and weekly routine. Over the past four years, I have taken care of dogs, cats, and especially a neighbor's turtle, who I have grown to love dearly. Each day, I ensure that she is fed and her cage is cleaned, and I spend over three hours sitting with her, ensuring she feels loved and cared for. This routine has taught me to care for pets as if they were my own and deepened my love for all animals. Incorporating pet care into my schedule is crucial to me. I ensure my pet is happy and healthy, from morning walks to evening snuggles. Every activity, whether feeding, brushing, or playing, is an opportunity to deepen our bond and show my pets the love and attention they deserve. Balancing pet care with my other responsibilities, such as my involvement in ROTC at Norwich University for the past three years, has honed my discipline and time management skills. In addition to my ROTC commitments this summer, I am taking summer courses and have lacrosse practices. Despite these busy schedules, I always ensure that pet care remains integral to my routine, reflecting my dedication to their well-being. As a dedicated pet caregiver/Owner, my approach to pet care is tailored to the pet's needs and the environment. I prioritize creating a safe and nurturing space in my own home or while providing services for clients. This includes regular feeding schedules, enriching activities such as walks or playtime, administering medications if needed, and maintaining cleanliness through regular grooming and sanitation practices. Additionally, I strive to provide ample affection and attention to ensure each pet feels valued and loved, whether under my roof or in the comfort of a client's home.

“Rachael and her family were life savers for a last-minute booking! Our dog has little “quirks” that make him not the easiest dog of the bunch but they were so patient and understanding! We could tell Reddy was very comfortable. They’re super friendly to chat with as well! Hope to see them again!”

“Gus had an amazing time with Nichole….he didnt want to leave! She was excellent with communication and sent the cutest pictures of him while playing with other dogs. So thankful for the time and love she spent taking care of our puppy for a few hours.”

“We are so appreciative of Ricardo and his family opening up their home for our dogs. Taking it slow and making sure they have a good time while we are getting settled into our new house. We get pictures and updates throughout the day and our dogs are so excited to get there to spend the day. Very grateful to have found them nearby to us.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my home my entire life and have always been an animal lover ever since I was a child! A fun little backstory about me...most teenagers get jobs to have money to go to the mall or whatever it is that they want to do, well my goal was to save up all the money I made and get my own puppy. That was one of the best things I ever did, I had her for 16 years. Other than having dogs all my life, I also have kennel technician and veterinary assistant experience. Before I moved back to North Carolina, I was working the front desk at a non profit animal hospital. I feel that I am a very genuine and good hearted person. I am willing to walk/jog/run/play fetch, honestly, I will do pretty much anything to make them happy while you’re away and would love to build a relationship with your fur baby!! I’m a stay at home mom, so my schedule is pretty open every day!♥️. It’s just my 4 year old and I until about 4pm Monday-Friday, so as long as your fur baby is good with kids anytime from early morning until then works! After 4 I have open availability without him (incase your baby isn’t good with kids). My weekends are generally 100% open so I’d love to help in any way that I can! Hope to hear from you!! 🤗 I can care for your pet(s) in my home or yours. Whichever you prefer. I promise I will always make sure that they feel comfortable, loved, and happy.
“What can I say about Lorraine’s daughters and husband who watched my furbaby yesterday!??!? They were absolutely AMAZING—10/10!!! I was 100 percent at peace after meeting this beautiful family and putting Sophie in their hands! I will definitely be booking with this family again and again!!!!”

“Mr. Eugene and his family were absolutely wonderful with my boys! I’m always hesitant regarding people watching them unless I personally know them but my boys were definitely in great hands and I am so happy!”

About: My name is Kayela but you can call me Kaye. I am a nurse in Virginia Beach. But my real other passion is animals. A year prior to going into human medicine, I worked in the I veterinary field as a veterinary technician/assistant. I actually had plans to go to vet school, and then Covid hit; my pathway changed a little. But I don’t want that to stop me from making a difference in the animal world. I worked in the professional veterinary field for 5 years. I worked with all breeds, species, shapes, and colors of animals. I’ve worked with large animals, small animals, diseased and disabled animals. Therefore it would no reason for me not to accept your pet. I have animals of my own as well, 1 large breed dogs and 1 domestic short hair cat. I will love your animals like my own, cuddling included. I do have an extensive history of skills related to animal care as well. If you or your family have animals questions, concerns, or just curiosity in general about your animals well being, feel free to ask! I am starting to build a small clientele currently. I am open right now. Schedule could change. But just message me and we can work something out. I care for my animals more than the average person, due to the fact that I have worked in the animal medicine field. I believe a lot of issues/illnesses are preventable based on how you care for your pet. They are treated like humans in my opinion. They deserve the same attention, the same outdoor time, the same affection. They will be fed accordingly. I will also provide food recommendations as well as portion sizes based on my assessment. You can choose to follow my recommendations or continue to follow your own advice. I believe I can be very helpful with you and your care for your pets.

“María and Mathew were great with taking care of ares, i constantly got updates and pictures while they took care of him and he looked happy the whole time, i would recommend them as dog sitters 😁”

“Our dogs had the best time at Sherrys house! She was very quick to respond and update me while they were there. She sends plenty of pictures as well! We will definitely be booking her again!”

“I knew immediately upon dropping my dog Ace off that he would be in good hands! I felt at such peace all weekend knowing he was getting lots of love and attention! Gail was great about sending pictures and updates! 5 stars!”

“Karen was absolutely fantastic in taking care of our pup! She provided great updates and pictures of our pup throughout her stay, had a spacious and lovely backyard for playing and sunbathing, and gave us some flexibility on day of pick-up. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter”

“Kristynah was great! We were really nervous about leaving our little Jack Russel, Tucker. Kristynah and her family really took great care of him. She sent us daily photos & updates on how his day was going. It was very comforting to us being out of town. We knew he was in good hands. I definitely recommend Kristynah & we will be using her services in the future.”

“This is my first time using Rover, and I am so happy to have found Alicia! She knew a lot about dogs and took excellent care of my baby. I could not have asked for a better sitter! I was able to enjoy my trip knowing my baby was in great hands.”
